Cleanliness was exceptional. The staff were wonderfully helpful and very friendly. We couldn't recommend this park highly enough! Absolutely nothing not to like!

If I knew i would not have booked as not ideal for a small family with small children and rainy days. Tent was nice but got quite cold at night and interior walls were damp with rainy weather.

- Viacheslav (8/5): Adding a brighter, more powerful ceiling lamp would further improve the stay. - Very comfortable tent with all necessary facilities, including a private bathroom and heaters. There were small webs in the upper corners between the poles and the roof. It would also be helpful to provide more bathroom amenities such as soap and shampoo for family tents, or to refill them daily.

Überall Spinnen, Spinnwaben und Nester von Spinnen. Wir mussten zuest putzen, bevor wir einziehen konnten… Auch eine tote Kakerlake haben wir im Kleiderschrank gefunden. 😝

The peaceful location was a winner Due to the location, rain is a factor and with the tent and the cool temps you have to close all the flaps which makes it a bit dark. But that’s just how it is

- Vicki (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - Pleasantly surprised- cabin 7 was a 2 bedroom fully self contained tiny house. Even had a bbq on verandah. Definitely value for money. Clean and tidy with extra blankets in cupboards. I personally found the bed a bit hard but that is probably just me. Advertised as beach /ocean views but more accurately described as glimpses of water through thick trees and undergrowth. We chose this accommodation from a very limited list. The Coalmine area was enroute for us and not a planned destination. Limited eating out options. The BP servo had a surprising good range of prepared meals for eat in or takeaway (not just burgers, full meals.) we didn’t realise that there was a tavern just out of town so ended up grabbing some Indian food from the motel in town. We would recommend either the tavern or BP servo for meals.

- Debra (8/5): Beautiful Park Stay in a no knife chalet - Beautiful park full of trees and vegetation. Chalet was good size with lovely beds and an amazingly effective heater. Great sized bathroom with plenty of chalet. There was no large knife for food prep. Maybe a previous occupant wandered off with the large knife, but all we had to cut food with was a tiny broken knife like a paring knife (but smaller due to the end being broken off). Luckily we were too knackered to cook and the lack of a knife convinced us to buy takeaway during our stay rather than cook lol.

There was a small water leak in the eco-tent that didn't cause us any direct issues, but as it was a very rainy and windy night we were aware of it. Also the pictures on the website appeared to indicate bunk beds for the kids room, but when we got there they were 2 singles (which caused our 7 & 9yr old some disappointment). Lastly, and this is nothing on the part of the Holiday Park, but it was soo windy the night we stayed and 3/4 of us were up half the night due to the blowing in/out of the sides of the tent due to the wind and the metal awnings creaking as the wind changed direction frequently. Any other night would've been absolutely fine, so it was just timing/luck really - but the tent was cool, a great unique idea and we enjoyed it!

Very comfortable bed, T.V was hard to connect to internet but I think that'll the universe telling us to disconnect from devices and connect to the beautiful surroundings. The shower head needs to be changed in unit 9, as the flow was terrible. Grateful some water but temperatures were up and down with the hot and cold so just food for thought. Friendly staff. Just a suggestion, I feel some directional tape on the floors would benefit someone who is visually impaired or blind. That way they could feel their way around the cabin without having to use their cane, just a bit more freedom for them. All in all though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

- Ginette (10/5): Tent was fab staff are very nice and helpful, location was for me. - The tent is fabulous I did like the location nearby town Walpole is extremely limited and closed at 6pm
- Peter (9/5): We enjoyed our time at Coalmine it’s peaceful and in easy reach to places to see. - The bush setting was terrific it was peaceful quiet. The cabin was very good. I honestly can’t think of anything.
