• Екатерина Мирович (9/5): - Замечательный огромный номер с видом на море, свой оборудованный пляж. Шезлонги, полотенца предоставляют бесплатно. Отличный бар на пляже, где предлагают вкусные коктейли. Хорошее питание по системе a la cart. Ежедневная уборка номера с пополнение минибара. Есть парковка. Странно для отеля такого уровня отсутствие ватных дисков, кондиционера и лосьона для тела. В ванной комнате есть и душ и ванна, что несомненно удобно, однако шампунь почему -то только в душевой. Неудобно расположены крючки в ванной и туалетная бумага.

• ccvolvus (10/5): Eleganță, confort și servicii de înaltă calitate - Personalul este extrem de amabil și profesionist, începând de la recepție, continuând cu echipa de servire și până la personalul de curățenie. Toți îți întâmpină oaspeții cu zâmbetul pe buze, politețe și multă atenție la detalii. Mâncarea este deosebit de gustoasă, variată și atent prezentată. Poate fi servită fie direct la masă, de către ospătari amabili și prompți, fie prin autoservire pentru anumite preparate, ceea ce adaugă un plus de flexibilitate. Un punct de atracție aparte este sky bar-ul de la etajul 12, care merită vizitat fără îndoială. Aici se pot savura băuturi diverse, într-o atmosferă rafinată, în timp ce panorama spectaculoasă asupra Mării Negre îți taie respirația. Întreg hotelul se remarcă printr-o curățenie impecabilă și un decor elegant, amenajat cu bun gust. Fiind dedicat exclusiv adulților, locul oferă liniște și relaxare, însă pentru cei care caută o atmosferă mai animată, la parter se află un cafebar cu o selecție variată de băuturi și seri cu muzică live susținută de trupe diferite, ce schimbă ritmul și dau energie serilor. Camerele sunt spațioase, moderne și foarte bine întreținute, oferind confort și intimitate. În ansamblu, hotelul reușește să îmbine armonios relaxarea, rafinamentul și distracția, fiind o alegere excelentă pentru o vacanță memorabilă. Piscina de la etajul 2, denumită „infinity pool”, nu oferă pe deplin efectul spectaculos specific acestui tip de piscină. Priveliștea este parțial obstrucționată de un copac de mari dimensiuni și de acoperișul unei clădiri aflate vis-a-vis, ceea ce face ca apa să nu se „piardă” vizual în mare, așa cum te-ai aștepta de la o astfel de amenajare. Există doar un singur punct restrâns din care se poate obține o fotografie reușită, în rest vederea fiind blocată de aceste elemente. Ar fi fost ideal ca piscina să fie amplasată la un etaj superior, unde perspectiva asupra mării să rămână complet liberă și efectul infinity să fie cu adevărat spectaculos.
• Albine (6/5): - Das Personal im Restaurant war außergewöhnlich freundlich. Immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Das Frühstück und das Mittagsangebot waren leider enttäuschend. Man konnte nur al la carte bestellen. Es war zwar schön angerichtet aber geschmacklich leider nicht gut. Außerdem sind es überwiegend vorgekochte Fastfood Gerichte gewesen. Das fanden wir sehr schade. Nur am Abend war das Essen lecker und frisch. Zwischen dem Raucher und Nichtraucherbereich gab es keine Trennung. Der Rauch zog sich über alle Plätze und war besonders beim Essen störend. Am Strand gab es leider nicht genug Liegen für alle Gäste. Auf der Bar-Terasse ebenfalls zu wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Cocktails waren kostenfrei aber geschmacklich leider viel zu süß. Uns hat frisches und leckeres Obst gefehlt. Wenn es Obst gab, dann war dieses oft matschig und nicht lecker. (Schlechte Qualität und das im August) Es gab zwei Fahrstühle für maximal 4 Personen. Wir hatten unser Zimmer im 6.Stock und musste oft lange auf einen freien Fahrstuhl warten.

• Virzhiniya (10/5): Excellent Location & Views – Perfect for a Peaceful Getaway - We had a lovely stay – the room was spacious, very comfortable, and offered a truly magnificent view. The location is fantastic, right on the beach and in the heart of the main resort area. Despite being centrally located, it was remarkably quiet and ideal for relaxation. One of the biggest advantages is that the hotel is adults-only, which really contributed to the calm and pleasant atmosphere. Both pools were very clean and well-maintained, and the staff – especially the team from Bali – were extremely polite and professional. The rooftop restaurant was by far our favorite in terms of food and service. Special thanks to Teya, who delivered exceptional, professional service – a real standout. On the downside, the beach could use a bit more attention; we noticed some cigarette butts and a few uncollected glasses in the sand. While the food overall was good, the pasta at the Italian restaurant didn’t feel authentic, and we weren’t impressed by the fusion or Mediterranean menus either. Also, while the international staff was very welcoming, some of the Bulgarian team members could benefit from being a bit more friendly – even just a smile would make a big difference.

Not to mention that most of the staff are young guys super responsible doing their best to make your stay at Metropol really great. The location, the beach, the garden pool, the thematic evenings with delicious food, but not only, the quick serving despite the a la carte base set-up, from breakfast to dinner everything was exceptional. Special thanks to Maryanna from the Restaurant and to the Reservation Manager that made possible a super nice surprise for a birthday girl. Thanks a lot ladies and to everyone in the staff that made our first all inclusive experience really great. See you next year!

• Lital (9/5): Quiet and fabulous, just what I needed! - Very nice hotel! The fact that it's adults only contributed to the peace and quiet around the hotel. The meals were nice. I also booked a dinner at the Vistamar hotel next door through the Guests Relations lady, and it was exceptional! My room was right next to the elevator and the door wasn't very sound proof, so I heard people coming and going. Most were very quiet, so it wasn't bad enough to ruin my sleep or anything.
• Andrei (7/5): I'm not so sure that I would come here for my sixth time... - I think this was my fifth time in this hotel. I come here because I like the adults only concept. I like the spacious rooms and the view to the beach and to the sea that you get from the balcony. The beds are pretty comfy, but they are two twin beds put together. I like the fact that they use good quality hygiene products from Rituals in the bathroom. The food is not as good as it was. Especially the breakfast. The menu in September was the same as in June. You have a small range of choices from an a la carte menu. The cocktail drinks are pretty diluted, but I could sense a bit of an improvement in September than in June or than last year. The towels in the bathroom have a strange smell.

My boyfriend wanted to bring something for me but was not alowed. I understand rules but in the end he bought food from the supermarket, otherwise I would just starve I guess.. The bath tube was leaking water, told reception, nothing solved..

• Александр (9/5): Just excellent :) - An excellent location near the beach, nice view from the balcony, excellent food and the Dine Around program is a great idea. An attentive, friendly and helpful personnel, every evening there was a show at the lobby bar. The Sky Bar was great, special thanks to Dancho and Kristina :) Decent and various choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The cleaning service was provided daily. On the beach the waitress arrived too rarely, in most cases I had to go to the bar myself. The parking is actually the street just near the hotel and has too few parking places. Though the security guy always found one for me, but it may be an issue if you come at a high season. The Asian restaurant reservation was rescheduled three (!) times. Luckily my stay was pretty long so I finally visited it, but one might be not that lucky. They promised a compensation for that, but there was none. Anyway, all of these just minor things among lots of cool ones.
• Ewa11 (9/5): Relaxing gateway - For me the highlight were the people, from pre-arrival online communication to organizing my departure to the airport, I met only friendly people who were willing to help. Great service! Food was also very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it, yes options can get limited if you are staying for longer, but they put special on every day. What I wanted was a relaxing break and the hotel definitely was the perfect choice for that. I agree with some comments here - the cocktails were certainly not the best, for example, but overall these were minor things that didn't effect the positive sides of my stay

One night our dinner menu item was undercooked. cocktails throughout the hotel were poorly made and of poor quality ingredients.
• Andrei (9/5): A few years ago it was the best, now it's just average - In September 2022 the rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious. I liked the private beach, the pool side and the Italian restaurant. The receptionists were very nice and helpful. I asked for a Mojito at the beach bar and I received rum, Ice, soda and 2 pieces of lemon. It was the worst mojito ever. In fact all the beverages were weak, not to say bad. They didn't even told me that they don't have all the ingredients. You don't have too many options for drinks. I would give with indulgence a 7/10 for the food. The breakfast didn't had too many options and the omelettes were almost disastrous. The only acceptable food was the sweets. I had a better experience a few years ago with the food and I thought that it will be the same this time, but no.

There was a dress code for the main restaurant during dinner (long jeans or pants for men) and this was not stated in the booking page, therefore I couldn't have dinner during my trip in the main restaurant.

• Andreas (10/5): - Es war für uns das erste Hotel in Bulgarien, in dem heißes Essen serviert wurde. Die Hauptspeisen wurden früh, mittags und abends a´la card am Tisch bedient, das war sehr angenehm. Der Strand bot immer eine Liege an, der "Aufpasser" hatte das gut im Griff.

Small black flies are everywhere and you can t relax and seat at the pool. The same issue you will have also at the sea but not so intensive. Maybe the local authorities could spread solution and to try to help the tourists to enjoy the holiday. The hotel is not organizing to many activities as boat trip, music on the beach and so one. They should be more oriented on activities.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Once at the Golden Sands, book yourself at Grifid - Despite crowdie season, the staff ( mostly ), the hotel itself, by architecture and position, offered a more than pleasant time inside. So close to the beach, morning breakfast in the vicinity of the infinity pool ( by the way, such a nice feeling in it ), and not to forget the SkyBar or the dedicated parking. A place to come back for sure.

• Sergiu (8/5): Much better than a usual all inclusive - Very interesting concept: premium all inclusiv e a la carte. Another one: After Lunch. Check-in is at 2 o'clock pm. Lunch finishes the same hour. So you have no lunch. Limited meniu in after lunch, but you do not starve. Pros. The best at Metropol Hotel is by far the restaurant (except for deserts). The breakfast is great. The junior suite is good. Large but divided by bathroom. Good balcony and large bathroom. The beach is near hotel. Cons. The worst thing is the car parking. 20 BGN for a place on the ramp entrance of Bolero Hotel. Ugly, risky for out cars and not so all inclusive. Modest and wall-mounted toilettries. The second floor pool is rather small and is shaded by trees in the afternoon. The lobby bar is disappointing: no freshes. The front desk services, although good, are cold, without a smile.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Sind jetzt das 5te mal im Metropol, und wie immer war alles top. Das einzige was mich gestört hat ist die Zeiteinteilung beim Essen, die ganze Woche hat es keinen Interessiert wann wir Essen und die letzten 3 Tage wir uns gesagt das wir 1 stunde später kommen sollen.

• PATRIZIA (8/5): A la carte con fantasia - La struttura è molto bella, praticamente in riva al mare. Camera luminosa dotata di ogni comfort (salvo il materasso non proprio comodo). Personale gentilissimo e attento. La cucina (à la carte) è spettacolare. La proposta cambia tutti i giorni ma è un po' troppo votata ai gusti di tedeschi e inglesi a partire dalla prima colazione. Nel menù si fa un po' di confusione sulla descrizione delle proposte: il risotto alla milanese arriva in tavola senza zafferano e con i funghi, il farro in realtà è quinoa, la crema alla vaniglia è invece panna montata e via dicendo. Ma nulla da eccepire riguardo alla qualità. Purtroppo scendendo in piscina dalla scala a chiocciola sono scivolata e mi sono fratturata in due punti la caviglia (il corrimano, indispensabile per chi ha problemi a usare le scale) è dalla parte centrale, in cui i gradini sono più piccoli. Forse va messa nella parte più esterna. Detto ciò, nulla toglie che io ritorni il prossimo anno in questo bellissimo posto
• Tina (8/5): Nice hotel for senior people - Hotel is on great location, closed to the beach, room was nice and small but cute and clean, staff were very polite and professional , we were using the inside door pool at hotel Bollero but pool was very deep , hotel did not have any entertainment but later on it was explained to me that is because hotel guests are mostly from Germany and they liked relaxing place with no entertainment that was not described at the hotel description from Expedia food : need more to work on choices and to offer variety of fruits and more ethnic food. Nice hotel for senior people!

• MÜGE (10/5): Grifid'lerin En İyisi Tavsiye Edilir ! - Otelin konumu Grand Mall - otogara taksi ile 20 dk mesafede. Otel Golden Sands bölgesinin tam ortasında kalıyor. Genelde turistler var, fazla Türk ile karşılaşmazsınız. Konumu gayet iyi, denize sıfır. Sahili yürüyüş yolunu kullanarak çok rahat gezebiliyorsunuz. Yemek ve alışveriş için alternatif çok. Fiyatları orta derece ne çok ucuz ne çok pahalı. Mekana göre değişiyor tabi. Otel'de sabah kahvaltısı hariç öğle ve akşam yemekleri 3 farklı restorantta alakart olarak sunuluyor. Hizmet kalitesi, oda temizliği, personelin yaklaşımı çok iyi. Hatta normalde 14:00 check-in saati olmasına rağmen sabah 04:00'de otelde olmama rağmen sorgusuz suailsiz odamı açtılar. Taksilere dikkat edilmesi gerekir 20 dk. yolu 32 levaya giderken 5 dk. yol için 20 leva alabiliyorlar. Tamamen kafasına göre. Para bozdururken otel veya casino changelerini tercih edin.
