• Maher (6/5): The only real advantage is location - Honestly, the hotel has no real advantage except for its location. The soundproofing is practically nonexistent — you can hear everything: traffic in the street, people in neighboring rooms, noise from the hallway, and footsteps from the floor above. There’s movement and noise coming from all directions, at all hours, making it nearly impossible to get any sleep. It’s loud and far from relaxing. The room is very basic, with no real comfort, and the breakfast is poor, with barely anything offered. This hotel might be okay for a one-night emergency stay, but definitely not for anything longer. The staff are friendly and do their best, but unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the many issues. We booked last minute and didn’t have many options — otherwise, we wouldn’t have chosen this place. If you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable stay, this is not the place.
• Xuelian (10/5): - The location is only minutes walk from our bus meeting point. The place is clean and safe. The staff suggested a very nice seafood restaurant nearby which is delicious.

• Adrian (8/5): Gem in the centre of town - Excellent location right in the centre of town. It is a basic Hotel but having said that, I would describe it as 'superior basic'. It is spotless, has everything required and the staff are friendly, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel.

• Brooke (6/5): Average review - You get what you pay for here. It’s inexpensive. If you go in with low expectations, you will be satisfied. If you are expecting something grand, this is not the place. Location wise it’s excellent and right by the beach. Wifi is also good. Overall, manage your expectations and you’ll be content staying here.
• Donna (10/5): Great place for overnight in Paracas. - This was an excellent location, close to the boardwalk and the Ballestas Islands tours. We had a wonderful view of the ocean. The room was comfortable and clean, with an abundance of hot water. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.
• Suzanne (8/5): - We had a nice room with a balcony towards the ocean. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly although They were hard to understand and they didn’t speak English. The breakfast was included and was very delicious too. All in all we had a great stay
• Denitsa (8/5): Clean, basic, ocean view - The hostel is within 10 minuets walk from the bus terminal. The room had a balcony with a tiny ocean view as it was on the first floor. The was spacious and clean. They had a hairdryer on demand which was great. The breakfast was great and was served in the hotel with the same name on located on the other side of the street. Unfortunately, the toilet got blocked.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Expensive for what a private room in a hostel. No windows to the outside. Shower has no power. A little bit noisy as you can hear everything happening in the corridor like if it was in the room. Otherwise it was clean. Nothing special to say. The reception is on the first floor and the stairs are quite narrow, so not easy with a big suitcase.
• luz (8/5): mala ubicacion, hostal basico y limpio - es un hostal un poco lejos del sector comercial de Nazca, en una calle fea, llegamos en la noche y nos dio algo de susto porque es un lugar solo, el taxista nos dijo que no podiamos salir en la noche a caminar por ahi. No hay una buena recepcion, pero las habitaciones son amplias,aunque basicas, nuevas, y el baño comodo, Las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy amables y una ventaja es que desde el hotel se puede reservar tiquetes de bus ya que se agotan facilmente.

The bathroom was old and even though it seemed big, the toilet was placed so wrong that you had difficulty to used it since it had 1 feet distance from the wall. Old timeworn towels. Staff was friendly. The location was very good.

• Antony (10/5): Quick stop in Paracas - An overnight stop to go on island tour in morning. Wonderful hostel, we got a sea view room which had a balcony. Lovely spacious room with a clean shower room. Also has an upper communal patio area. Breakfast is included and is in the hotel opposite. Very happy with room and hostel. Staff seem a little nonplussed though! But they where helpful, we left our rucksacks with them after checking out.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Smelly HOSTAL - There are two places with same name and owner. The HOSTAL where we stayed was path. Smelly room, due to nearby restaurants. Very noisy. The actual hotel, opposite the HOSTAL looked ok but pricy. Breakfast wad at the hotel and very skimpy, just a roll and cup of coffee. We were here for one night only to visit balestas isle.
• annick (10/5): Great location for great price - Nice room with sea view. Breakfast is serviced in the main hotel a few doors away across the road. Central location. Paracas is small but cosy seaside place with interesting nature around.

• Paola (6/5): It started ok, but ... - We will not be returning to this hostel and/or Frayles Hotel residence -- it left a bitter taste, the way our concerns were brushed off. When we checked in, everything was fine. The door is locked, you have to ring bell - except at night ... the main door was left open and no person at reception - anyone could walk in and door locks not too hard to open. really. It got worse next day -- we had to go across the street to sister hotel Frayles Residencies Hotel breakfast was late and horrible: coffee was like dirty water, bread was dry and not fresh -- we almost missed our tour due to lateness, when I was there at 7;13am and they would not tend to us, as we were 2 min early. We were not given option of eggs, which apparently other people were. The staff at hostel was apathetic - we paid at main hotel by credit card, but hostel staff kept asking for payment, w/o even checking that it was already paid. Asked for late check-out as we arrived late night before and not a minute -- they said they had reservations - but there was no-one there when I left at 3pm and I looked to check availability and there was plenty. They just wanted to clean the rooms and get out. No flexibility or even good will to check if possible. If they took care of details, this would be a really nice place to stay ... pity!

• sandra (10/5): Recomendable - Cuando llegue al hostal al parecer no habían recibido mi reservación pero me dieron el mismo tipo de habitación en el hotel residencial los frayles. Muy bueno, todo impecable y el desayuno que ofrecen es muy rico. Además está en una zona muy céntrica.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and comfortable budget option in Paracas - Clean and comfortable stay in Paracas. Effectively the cheaper cousin of Hotel Frayles over the road. If choosing a place with included breakfast is a key factor for you, be aware that the included breakfast here is very small (juice, two mini bread rolls & bread and jam). Location was great, and Paracas is a new a beauitful seaside town.
• dm19 (6/5): Lindo y cerca de la playa - El hostel está bien. Lo unico malo es que el desayuno te lo dan en otro lado (el hotel del mismo nombre). Además, no tienen ningun servicio, como por ejemplo pava eléctrica, para agua caliente.

• Marco (10/5): Nettes Zimmer das ich jedem weiterempfehlen kann - Zimmer war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Meerblick. Nur die Betten waren etwas durchgelegen. Wlan war recht schnell und uploads waren ohne Probleme möglich. Frühstück hab es im den gegenüberliegenden Hotel mit selbem Namen.
• Kim (8/5): Great for traveller/backpacker - Great location in Paracas, close proximity to the beach and boat tour. Friendly staff who is ready to assist even if English is limited. You should bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body washes and water smells like an ocean but I am pleased that I could get a hot shower.
• DANIEL (8/5): Good place to stay - This place is really good. The price is Ok and the service also. Its the cheaper brother of the Hotel los Frailes.
• Sharon (8/5): Sunsets of Orange - Los Frayles is not a fancy hostal, but it is clean and comfortable. Our room had a great view that faced the square in front of the beach. There is no breakfast included with the room, but there are many restaurants and places to eat around the hostal. The beach is a block or so away. The owners of the Hostal own the tour boat that goes to Ballesta Island where the sea lions are and they offer a better price than all the other tour operators who sell their tickets. Although Paracas is a very small town on the coast, they have the most incredible orange sunsets you will ever see. The town of Paracas is worth a visit.
• LuisSR36 (6/5): Room located on the second floor has a nice view - Room located on the second floor has a nice view. The only problem is that the windows/sliding doors do not have a screen to get protection from mosquitoes (zancudo in Spanish). If the windows are open to ventilate the room, friendly mosquitoes come to join in. There is not a fan or air conditioning, but overall the room was fine. A decent bed, a nice TV, access to free WiFi, very nice staff and a good breakfast included in the price. Breakfast is served across the street in a sister location called "Residencial Los Frayles." In Tridadvisor website, Hostal Los Frayles appears as offering a shuttle, but when I asked both, Hostal Los Frayles and Residencial Los Frayles, they confirmed that they don't have a shuttle service. I'll make this same comment in TripAdvisor, so they will correct it. Hostal Los Frayles only accepts cash. If one wants to pay with credit card, a certain percent will be added to the total, and, you would need to go across street to the sister location Residencial Los Frayles, to pay there.
• Elisa (10/5): Good and clean hotel in Paracas - Basci but nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms have a good size. Breakfast is served in the other hotel in a nice setting. Location is great. Paracas is a small town and everything is walking distance. We walked 10 minutes from the bus station Cruz del Sur. Restaurants and bars are around too. Good choice for a night in Paracas.
• Joseph (6/5): Close to everything, dogs and roosters even closer - Nice stay everyone friendly, close to the ocean. Large flatscreen was nice. Bathroom clean and nice tiled. I did not get a good night's sleep do to the many neighborhood roosters crowing at 3:30 or 4:00 in the morning. Dogs barking too
