- Rhonda (2/5): It was a place to sleep - It was close to my destination Was more the bed and pillows, and the AC, was very loud machine and did not keep the room cool
- Gary (8/5): Friendly, helpful staff and good value. - Helpful friendly staff. Convenient restaurant, good Greek style food. Clean room, good value for the price. The room was a little warm , but the AC fan was too noisy to run it while sleeping.
- JOHN (7/5): - Good for the dollar and clean. Bed uncomfortably soft.
Turning on the bathtub faucet get you soaked by the shower. Faucet turns on tub and shower at the same time.
- Gerry (5/5): - Clean Crooked floor small bed
- Gerry (5/5): -
- Esme (9/5): Charming creek side Inn - Quaint older building on the creek. Lots of charm. Ate our supper at the picnic table beside the creek listening to bird song and the water. Room was clean and our car was parked just outside the door making it easy to grab what we needed at anytime. Front desk staff kind and polite. Our room door was open when we arrived so it made me wary and confused.
- Achala (1/5): Terrible experience with Sandman Inn - Only location. It’s easy to access and nearby some coffee shops and stores. It’s in too bad quality. I just make a review in google too. Very bad quality. Washroom is too bad. Shower is not good. AC is too loud and its motor is burning and then it’s too hot inside the room.
- mitchell (6/5): good, quiet - breakfast N/A location is great The Facilities are old and tired and need to be updated
- Betsy (8/5): -
- heidisR6051LW (6/5): Mediocre - Room is sub par. Bathroom needs updating badly. Taps and tub and floor were in bad shape. Curtains need to be washed.
- Geoffrey (5/5): -
- Michele (8/5): -
- Robert (8/5): Very Pleasant stay - Location excellent on highway 1 however unable to locate on GPS. could have been slightly larger room or different layout of furniture to allow more space towards bathroom.
- Isabel (7/5): Lugar de paso - Cómodo para llegar Tardaron un mes en devolver la fianza, cuando no debieron cobrarla según nos manifestó Booking
- Dylan (10/5): -
- Dan (5/5): -
- William (7/5): - No breakfast offered 4 PM check out time is very poor
3 PM would be significantly more acceptable and convenient.

Could use some updating.
- Drew (8/5): Great spot - Location Chilly room
- Sabrina (7/5): -
- Jaret (5/5): -
- Robyn (8/5): A convenient location for a short overnight stay. - A convenient location for a short overnight stay.
- Ahmed Nazeeh (8/5): -
- Diane (4/5): - The room was not that clean.Dust on most surfaces and bathroom baseboards were filthy and some one else’s hair in tub. The house cleaning staff needs to do a more thorough job!!
- Joanne (7/5): - The room was, comfortable but really needs updating. Also needs more lighting in the room. Expensive for the condition/area of the motel.
- Greg (6/5): Okay but not great - The hotel is an ok place to stay in Cache Creek, which is a small town without many options. However, our room was at the end of the hallway next to the emergence exit door, but people were always noisily using it, especially in the very early morning (3am-ish) hours and accompanied by the loud shutting of room doors. Perhaps some of the rooms are used as long-term rental? Also, the hotel is next to a warehouse and a forklift started very noisily loading a truck at 5am. Aside from those things, no complaints
- Meg (8/5): - Ice machine was broken but other then that great location
- Michael (8/5): - Outside needs some work, not visually appealing, but room was clean and quiet
TV was not good, blurry and only 13 basic channels, overall ,ok!
- Shelley (2/5): - We usually book at Sandman so was pleased to book at Cache Creek.
We were VERY DISAPPOINTED at the condition. Aside from the condition,, the suite doors did not have working
Safety Closures
Latch
Theshold
Smoke seal
No sprinkler
Exit corridor doors
- Cheryl (2/5): - We tried to cancel this stay and change it to the next night and you would not allow it. We are very disappointed in this company and won’t be considering Sandman for our next get-away. Said it was reconciled but it does not appear to be that way.
- Aaron (8/5): -
- Timothy (6/5): - It’s an old place and the housekeeping is “ok”. Kids shoes in the hallway were still there the next morning. The towel rack is in the suite’s hallway at head height so if you’re taller than 5 feet, be ready to duck or you’ll lose an eye. If they had mounted it above the fridge/microwave stack, just 3 feet over it wouldn’t have even been mentioned. And the shower head is at about 5’6” so I had to wash my hair on my knees. It’s a fine motel for 1 night but it’s not a destination I would choose again
- Debbie (3/5): Won’t return - The garbage wasn’t empty, not especially clean
When we returned at 430 for our 2nd night, our room hadn’t been cleaned
- Shawn (8/5): - Kitchen was okay and parking was safe
- Kevin (10/5): - Lovely reception attendant..
Excellent food and service at the restaurant!
- mathew (8/5): - Bathroom needs an update, leaking shower valve, faucet, bathroom fan doesnt work properly,
- Herbert (6/5): - Sauber, aber ein bisschen laute Motoren der Aircon der Nachbarzimmer, getrampel vom oberen stock
- Thomas (6/5): - Room was falling apart . Drawers that don’t fit in runners . Loose toilet seat loose shower curtain post
- Robert (4/5): - Poor service at the front counter.
Toilet overflowed.
- Riley (6/5): - The Creek behind the property was cool
- Cindy (6/5): - Location was okay We paid for a queen but only got a double.
- Zmurchyk (5/5): -
- Chris (6/5): - The door latch was loose and ready to fall off, the window was open when we arrived however the screen was on but felt abit unsafe with the door lock was broken and loose thankful my grown son was with me. that is the only problem i seen with the venue.
- Lili (4/5): - the bathroom was not cleaned as there was toothpaste on the taps, P. hair in the tub and dirty floor in the bathtub.
staff was making an effort to remedy this and will see if they offer me some compensation on my room fee.
- ZHE (5/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): - Air conditioner sounded like a semi truck coming through, TV had very limited channels.
- Lynda (4/5): To expensive for what it was - There was no breakfast that we were aware of The room is old and dark, needs to be repainted bathroom have lots of bad plastering and painting
- Cameron (10/5): - Great for an overnight stop. Very friendly staff.
- Neil (6/5): -
- Jackie (6/5): - Easy to find, parking is good. Room was convenient for overnight.
- Danielle (8/5): - It is an older facility but everything worked and the bed was super comfortable. Great for the rate!
- Karen (8/5): - The actual property matched the pictures online. Stay was pleasant.
- Pankti (4/5): -
- Sanita (4/5): - Dated place
- Kazumi (6/5): - Check in time at 4 pm is not so great it should be at 3 pm.
- Alexis (5/5): -
- Peggy (6/5): - The room wasn’t as clean as expected.
- Paulette (8/5): - We didn’t check the restaurant. The bed was comfortable. The bathtub was damaged so we did not use it.
- JANICE (7/5): -
- Karyn (8/5): - This was a perfectly adequate option for us to stay on our long drive home from Anchorage. It definitely did not have the same appearance as other Sandman properties we had noticed on the drive. The property is old and you can tell the staff did the best they could in terms of cleaning, etc. It is due for some maintenance and sprucing up.
- Clare (10/5): - The front desk staff were awesome.
- Rick (5/5): It was ok, and price was reasonable. - Not much. Repurposed old motel A long walk hauling luggage up stairs to the very end of hall.
- Hui (6/5): - Ok
- john (10/5): - All good for overnight stay would stay again if in area
- Blair (6/5): - Poor service for timely check in
- saurav (10/5): - Right on the highway. Near to all the restaurants..
- suehC5145PG (2/5): TERRIBLE - The motel in Cache Creek is not very friendly the duty manger was so rude to us we were booked in with Eagle Rider and will inform then not to us this motel for future riders coming through her name is Juliet M rooms need a big upgrade ...but I will say young fellow who booked us in couldn't do enough to check us in terrible terrible social media is a good thing
- cheryl (10/5): - Nice rooms, clean, but needs some updating...
- Joey (8/5): - Cache creek is a small community so not a whole lot to do but the hotel was good and the staff were very kind
- Hebert (1/5): -
- Shawn (6/5): - Lobby was a disaster and stunk. Large A/C unit set up on the stairs, not very safe. Room was clean but small and very aged.
- Walter (8/5): -
- Sally (8/5): - It was very easy to find and quiet comfortable
- Pankaj (1/5): Bad experience - I have nothing to like about room 237
Full
Of smell of smoke
I have kids with me
Smoke smell was nasty Smoking smell in room 237
I was staying with my kids
- Matt (6/5): - We're satisfied for the price. WiFi was weak and our faucet leaked a bit of water. Pillows were too puffy. But bed was otherwise comfortable and room was clean. I'd stay here again.
- Haydn (8/5): Great place for a night on the road - The staff / owner was friendly and helpful Nothing stands out
- robert (2/5): - We liked nothing. Will never stay again !!!!!
- Pavlo (8/5): -
- Janice (10/5): - I really liked the picnic table overlooking the river. Nice areas to sit outside and the staff I spoke to were very friendly
- Mark (6/5): - The hotel is quite dated and run down. The restaurant that appears in the online pictures appears to have been closed for years. The in room air conditioning did work. There was no cold airflow. The bed was quite soft and not very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best of stay in the small town - The room was very clean, and the pillows and bed were soft and comfortable. The receptionist, who hoped to spell Uber correctly, explained it very carefully and kindly.
- Priyanka (4/5): - Hotel Review
I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The property itself felt extremely outdated, with visible signs of wear and tear everywhere. It’s clear that it hasn’t been maintained properly in quite some time.
One of the most disappointing aspects was the floor mat in my room—it was in terrible condition and had a strong, unpleasant odor that made the stay uncomfortable. This lack of attention to cleanliness and upkeep was very off-putting.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to both the property and its maintenance. It’s not worth the price or the discomfort.
- Chris (6/5): - It is what it is, not the best not the worst. Typical BC motel
- William (8/5): - I would suggest that safety handholds be installed in the bath surround. The anti-slip mat was much appreciated. Bathtub falls are dangerous, and at best highly unpleasant. More counterspace in the batheoom would be a plus as well.
The bed was comfortable if you like a soft mattress, which I do. Overall, the room was small but comfortable. The facilities as a whole could stand a general upgrade, but it was clean, and staff was very friendly, accomodating and helpful.
- Martha (6/5): - I enjoyed the outdoor sitting area beside the creek, it was cool and refreshing after a very hot day of traveling.
- Melissa (10/5): Great stopover with lovely staff - We were there one minute before 11 pm and the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, cool, and quiet. Easy to find and checkout was quick and simple.
- Lavonne (10/5): - Stopped for 1 night while on a road trip. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Highly recommend.
- - (5/5): Passable -
- Joshua (6/5): Nice place, would return if in the area again. - Hotels was good. The manager/ checking person was very nice. Their boiler was not working and we did not have hot water. No discount was offered for the inconvenience.
- Bob (4/5): - It was quiet for sure and that was a plus
- Carly (6/5): - Check in was good. Parking was good. The rooms were not very sound proof and we could hear dogs barking. The curtains were too small and didn’t cover the windows all the way, so the bright parking lot lights shined into the room all night. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Besides the curtains it was a good stay.
- E4423QKlaurag (4/5): Stinky carpets - While the room was clean enough the carpets stank like the old dirty carpets they were! We had the door open (ground floor door opens to the parking lot) as much as possible to air out the room but it didn’t help much. I left jackets and other clothing in the car as I didn’t want my clothes to take on the smell. I mentioned this to the Manager on checkout but he ignored my comment. I wouldn’t stay here again.
- Edgardo (10/5): Highly recommended. - Its clean and the staff were very helpful. Nil.
- Teri (6/5): - Nice staff
