- Andrew (10/5): Beautiful hotel in stunning scenery - Located in some stunning views, the staff were really helpful and friendly.Room was clean and well appointed. There were a few minor issues which i pointed out to staff , but nothing the stopped us enjoying the stay. The food is excellent too

The food was fresh from local suppliers and was perfect, my scallops were caught fresh that morning. There is a lovely garden which we sat and had some drinks in. Couldn't fault one thing, our favourite stay from our trip round the north coast of Scotland.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location on the NC500 route - Over priced hotel. Room was very small (room 4). Tiny bathroom, close to breakfast room. Strange sort of porch area with a door direct to the car park, though this was handy for unpacking. Nice towels. Carex was the provided soap in the en suite, bit downmarket, as was no orange juice at breakfast. Burgers were excellent bot when asked for mayonnaise the waitress literally plonked a squeeze bottle of Hellmann on the table. Good real ales. Staff pleasant enough. Breakfast ok.

- Sharon (10/5): Kinlochewe Inn were very welcoming - A very pleasant stay owners were very welcoming and the home cooked food was delicious . Good location for 500 tour . A couple of walks to take in nearby forest area and up onto hills .

- A Hillwalker (8/5): Relaxing village hotel with a few caveats. - We had been up hill walking in the Munros around Torridon and booked the hotel as a place to have a nice meal and bed for the night. On arriving it was a cosy and welcoming place with a comfortable seating area by the entrance. The room was nice enough although it didn’t have a TV which was a little missed. We had booked a shared bathroom room which seemed a little archaic of us at first but their was no issue and a big clean bath helped ease our tired muscles. We had dinner in the bar and although the menu looked good, when our food arrived the chips were oven cooked. I never thought it would have bothered me but if I go to a hotel I expect proper chips. Another thing was that being a hotel in the highlands, after a big day on the hill, not having a fire on in the bar was a bit of a downer. After a good nights sleep we had a hearty cooked breakfast and headed off. Overall a good experience but with a few things that could be done better.
- Heather (4/5): Overpriced! - Kinlochewe Hotel charges like a city hotel with full amenities but delivers little. Considering the room was with a shared bathroom down the hallway (through another door), did not have a tv, or even a chair in the room, or an accessible powerpoint, I still paid far more for it than most other places in Scotland that had far better rooms. Coffee and tea had to made made squatting on the floor! The food was good but equally overpriced. The people were nice but the shortcomings of this hotel were far greater than any positives to be had.

- Mr. B (6/5): Remote. In process of being updated. - While this hotel was comfortable, we felt it was overpriced for the facilities offered at present e.g. there was no TV at all. Bathroom was small, but food was very good and nicely presented. Definitely needs a paint job and we were told that this was going to happen soon.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Authentic feel in Scotland - Landing, then driving on the left hand side, and then even maneuvering single lanes with passing zones brings you to this authentic gem. Very friendly staff, local hangout in the bar, and comfy bed are just a few of the highlights. Very good meal and great breakfast rounded out or experience.

The location was excellent for a weekend of walking, just a short drive from Torridon. The attached bar was a great place to wind down in the evening, with a good selection of beers and good food. Breakfast was also pretty good. Would stay here again if in the area.

- traveller (2/5): Way overpriced - Worst hotel we have ever stayed at in many years of travel. Room dark and dismal with "view" over a back yard. Furniture looked as though it was pre world war two. The top of the "bedside cabinet" was badly blistered and peeling. At £110 per night b&b the price was way above what they should be charging, especially in view of the lack of tv and non-existent wi-fi in room. Hotel does point this out on their website, but that is no excuse for excessive price.

The new owners are very welcoming, not forgetting how pleasant and friendly all the other young staff are. Convenient location. Bar and restaurant serving good food. Would stay again if in the area as the owners have big plans for updating the hotel.

Good: Friendly staff, good location, good food and fun selection of whisky Bad: double bed was 2 singles pushed together which were themselves very saggy. Room was cold, we were given a portable heater which did not help

The scenery is breathtaking and it's right in the middle of some of the greatest hiking spots. The room was not large, but perfect for what we needed. No disappointments here.
- Ben (10/5): Great little hotel close to Loch Maree - Great stay here - the room and breakfast were excellent, and we had a lovely fish supper and a couple of pints in the attached bar. Kinlochewe is a beautiful little town close to some spectacular scenery and walks.
- amanda (10/5): everything you want for a walking base - very comfortable place to stay, the staff couldn't do enough for us AND there is really good food. Mountain weather print-out available everyday, plus route cards so they know when to call mountain rescue!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best Hotel in the area! - After travelling for 3.5 weeks we have experienced some good hotels and B&Bs, and some bad ones! The staff were fantastic, food freshly prepared (you wouldn't even know we were travelling in the off season with a reduced menu!), rooms were comfortable and warm and last but certainly not least, the company the bar staff provided was great. Loved the idea of no wifi between 6pm and 9pm - created a great atmosphere.

WiFi is turned off at dinner time so you actually talk to your friends/relatives/spouses. Cheapest by a long way in the area. Didn't sample the cooked breakfast as we were away at 3am but the continental breakfast was very good.
- l (10/5): - Our confirmation email said check in from 2, and we arrived at 2.10 to find the hotel locked. I rang the hotel and they apologised, they had moved to winter times and check in was from 4, however they came and let us in and showed us to our room. The room was large and clean with an en-suit which had a bath and shower over bath. That night we ate at the hotel and the food was delicious and the menu has plenty of variety. The hotel doesn't have any tv's, but do you really need them on such a place? Go for a walk or have a conversation! Breakfast was served in the dining room and cooked to order, and again was lovely Overall our stay here was good, the staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and you even get tunnocks wafers in your room! I would definitely go back.
