Manchmal gab es nicht Mal mehr Brot. Unser Zimmer wurde den ganzen Aufenthalt nicht mehr gereinigt, weil wir 1 Tag das Schild bitte nicht stören aufgehängt haben. Fanden wir nicht in Ordnung.

Gap under the door let light in so I rolled up the throw from the bed to block it out. Bathroom was nice but just beginning to show age with a chipped tile and lifting paint on outside of bath.. the t. Is off centre from the bed and so felt a bit odd.

There was a lovely variety of breakfast laid out buffet-style in addition to the availability of full-English. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially housekeeping. The seal on the shower door leaked which meant that the bathroom floor flooded. Tea pot made with only one tea bag. Needed 3 in MHO!

Smart, simple, exactly what I needed for a short business stay. Mini-fridge and coffee machine was a welcomed addition. Unfortunately I was unable to take advantage of breakfast with my early starts, but I did enjoy dinner on one night. Sleeping was an problem! The location of the room in proximity to the dual carriageway made sleeping at night a challenge. The wall separating the adjacent bedroom did little to muffle the noise from the neighbours - in my case a family with small children that added to my sleepless nights. I had to move the mattress away from the wall in a fruitless attempt of getting more sleep. It was a real shame, because the room itself was very comfortable. If I had thought to bring my sleeping ear buds, I'm sure the issue would have been far less apparent.

• Sarah (10/5): Best place in Farnham - This is my 5th trip to this hotel and I've always been happy with the experience. The rooms are lovely, clean and modern. The staff are attentive and the breakfast is great. The only issue we've had is the fruit at breakfast running out, unless you're there really early. They do, however, replenish if you ask.
• Claire (8/5): A very pleasant stay in a relaxed and friendly pub/hotel. - The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was ideal in location to amenities (shops, motorways, etc). We stayed for a period of 13 nights and all our needs were met. The team of staff within the pub/restaurant and team of housekeeping staff were friendly and very accommodating from the outset and everyone made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was excellent and we were able to try the majority of the breakfast and evening menus during our stay and each choice was really good, although the dinner menu was a bit pricey - averaging around £19.00. We would certainly return. To be honest, there wasn’t anything major to dislike except that the outside of the building could be a bit tidier, specifically cigarette butts on the ground.

• Peter (6/5): Fine apart from Breakfast - Check-in, Parking were all good. Room overlooked a busy and noisy road but I slept OK. The breakfast. The ingredients were OK but they were dumped on the plate which is so unnecessary. Presentation is important. Only bread for toast was sourdough which although fashionable does not make great toast IMHO. Black Pudding with breakfast would have been good. Beans were served in a diddy saucepan but for my taste they was too much liquid. I don't know what brown sauce they provided but it tasted awful. Just stick with HP!
