- Barry (8/5): A nice place to stay with a nice pool area and convenient for easy access to the parks. - Very well connected to the parks by boat for a 20 min journey going every 15 mins, or a level riverside walk of around 15 mins. Very impressive building. Nice pool facilities Spacious rooms. Helpful reception desk staff Not much to do in the hotel with kids during the evening other than sit around in the spacious lobby. Food and drink was super expensive and of average quality.

- Alicia (8/5): Don't miss eating at Stormwater Tavern - The dining options on-site are very good, especially Stormwater Tavern. The ferry to the parks was a relaxing way to travel but are very full in the morning. All staff interactions were positive. It would be good if we had a King-size bed. Also the barn door in the bathroom does not provide the privacy needed.

Hotel che garantisce l'accesso anticipato al parco (se ovviamente provvisti di biglietto di ingresso). Parcheggio ampissimo a pagamento ma disponibile 24h dal pagamento (e non fino al check-out che è express, quindi non dovete passare dalla reception, cosa ottima se avete in programma di lasciare la macchina li per il tempo che andrete agli Studios). Camera spaziosa. Nulla.

- Christian (9/5): Super Lage, nettes Personal, geniale Anbindung an die Universal-Parks - Super im Universal Orlando Ressort gelegen und mit Wasser- und Bus-Shuttles geht's schnell in die Parks; Early-Access ist ein gutes Feature; Empfang sehr nett, ebenfalls alle anderen Mitarbeiter/innen; Restaurant solide, haben wir aber nur einmal abends genutzt; praktisch: im Supermarkt kann man morgens Frühstück kaufen; Zimmer geräumig im USA-Vergleich und mit guter Pool-Aussicht; den Pool haben wir allerdings nie genutzt, weil wir eigentlich permanent in den Parks waren - so haben wir das Potenzial des Hotels gar nicht ausreizen können --> aber Lage, Integration in Universal und Early Access sind überzeugend, würden wir wieder machen! Eigentlich nichts, außer dass nach 3 Tagen Universal echt die Füße weh tun! ;-)

I have never experienced anyone as attentive, friendly and accommodating as Angel. From our very first night there he made us want to return back to that restaurant each night even though we wanted to venture out and discover new places….we continued to go back purely for his service and overall kindness. Please go to Strong water at the Loews Sapphire resort hotel and ask to be sat in Angels section. You will not regret it! Thank you Angel for making our week so enjoyable!

Also great breakfast and coffee shop food options. Beds were too soft and offered little back support. No privacy between toilet and shower. Staff at New Dutch Trading Co. need to be more friendly (baristas were more friendly). Room sizes are fairly small for a family of 4, little walking space and not enough closet space.

Perhaps they're surviving from conferences and locals. Really disappointed as photos and some.reviews are very positive. Staff in general are very good.

We spent ten grand for four nights, now home, with a wife in tears because of the experience. It was miserable. Whoever designed this hotel is an absolute moron. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Our room was spotless, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The whole place has a great vibe. One experience, in particular, really stood out. We had a reservation at the hotel’s lobby restaurant, Strong Water Tavern, and everything started off perfectly. The host greeted us warmly, checked us in, and seated us outside—which was a great setting. However, we ended up waiting about 30 minutes without a server. Thankfully, the kids weren’t too hungry, but I eventually went to check with the host. She was very kind, looked into the system on her tablet, and found there had been some sort of error. What happened next completely turned things around. Almost immediately, our server, Dierdre, showed up—and she was incredible. She sincerely apologized and took our order right away. After taking our order, she asked if we needed anything else. I jokingly said, “Only if you have cotton candy for the kids.” She smiled and went to place the order. Within minutes, our drinks and food arrived, and she kindly let us know the drinks were on the house—a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. But the real surprise came at the end. When we asked for the check, she returned not only with it—but also with cotton candy for the kids! It completely made their night (and ours). That level of care and going above and beyond is rare. Dierdre turned what could have been a frustrating experience into the highlight of our trip. She is truly amazing and a huge asset to the hotel. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this resort—especially for families!

- Harinder (3/5): Close to the Theme Park, but hideously expensive! - I liked the fact that the hotel was part of the Universal resorts and that you had a free boat taxi to the park. The hotel was generally clean and looked nice. The property doesn’t look particularly modern. The room was selected for 5 of us, but it was so small you couldn’t swing a cat in it. The rollout bed was an additional $35 a night, PLUS taxes, which was completely outrageous, so we didn’t pay this. The toilet isn’t private, it’s just a sliding door. The sink is the other side of the sliding door, so you’re having to handle it with potentially unclean hands. There should be a couple more shelves in the sink and shower areas for toiletries. With a family of 5, there wasn’t enough space for our things. There was 1 wardrobe and we had 5 suitcases, so once we’d put a suitcase in it, the rest of our luggage was on the floor by the bed, taking up the little space we had left. That left nowhere for the two people who could sit on chairs, to eat any room service we’d ordered. The room just isn’t fit to accommodate 4/5 people, even though the search engine allows you to book it, having given the children’s ages. The prices for food are absolutely outrageous. Two teas and hot milk came to €28/29. Yes it’s Orlando, but this is taking an absolute liberty. And the gall to have a tip section when you’re already paying through the nose already! Half the staff look like they don’t want to be there. There’s no smiles or genuine happiness that they happy to receive you as a guest. We couldn’t hire a car because they were sold out, and when I went off site to get one, I had to pay $36 for the overnight privilege of parking in their car park. Everything here is a moneymaker. Be warned.

The location was incredibly convenient for getting back and forth from the parks, and having on-property conveniences made everything so much easier. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were wonderful not only to us but specifically to our dog, Cooper. The resort really welcomed him, which made our trip so much more enjoyable. Our only minor critique is that we wished the rooms were a bit larger and included microwaves, but everything else was top-notch. We’d definitely stay here again!

Transport to all the parks (ferry/bus for epic) was easy and quick. Or you could walk! Room service is from the restaurant in the building, it was very nice. - 518ciarans (4/5): Nice place but any additions to the basic stay are very expensive - The hotel is nice if a little expensive. The water taxi is a great touch and travel to and from all universal parks is quick and easy. We’ve not been to Disney so I can’t judge that. If you are spending time at the hotel pool, the only way to get any value for money is to ensure you get the refillable mugs. Unfortunately, we arrived 5 days ago and no mugs have been available over this time. Due to this, we have had to choose between going over our budget on the expensive drinks around the pool or stick to water. This might sound like a minor inconvenience but we made sure to choose a hotel with a refillable drink option to save a bit of money on our pool days. It’s very poor planning for a hotel to run out of a non-perishable item like this that is a major selling point of the hotel and we are still being told that they do not know when more will be delivered.

- shopper062 (8/5): Fantastic family vacation! - This was a really nice hotel with clean facilities so many really nice amenities and great staff. We stayed in a standard room pool view and the room was very clean. The only negative I can say is the bathroom space was very tight the way that it was set up and it didn’t allow for a lot of privacy. It made it a little challenging, getting all four of our family members ready in the morning. Otherwise, the mattresses were comfy, plenty of storage, and even room service was great! We visited the coffee shop every AM for drinks and PM for snacks. We spent a day at the pool and ate at the pool restaurant, which we enjoyed! There was an arcade and gym on site as well. For Universal visitors: We liked the universal store in the lobby as if you want to get any of the bands are super Nintendo world or the wands for the Harry Potter parks and have them set up before you go, you can grab them there. We also really liked that we had the boat access over to city walk and shortened the walk into the park by about half and we would go through security at the hotel instead of in CityWalk. The bus to epic was also great although that 4 miles is about a 20 minute ride. You also get early entry staying at this hotel! This was our first time to the area and we plan to return. I am on the fence if I would stay here again vs rolling the dice on another property, because it was a great stay overall. The convenience of the water taxi was the biggest plus in our decision to book over the other Universal hotels. If getting express passes is important, the sister property was also amazing looking and offers that perk and also a water taxi.

The transportation to the parks was fast and enjoyable. Never had to wait for elevators. The room was very nice and quite large. We always had plenty of clean towels and wash cloths. The shower was awesome. The hotel was chilly but the worse part was my room was sooo cold. Even when the temperature was turned as high as it would go (80) it was still cold so I turned it off and even that didn't help. I don't pay that much to freeze!

For the third day in a row, our room has not been cleaned. Yesterday we had to call staff (again!) and were told someone would come to clean the room at 11:00 AM. When we returned in the evening, the room still had not been serviced. At this point we’ve gone multiple days without basic housekeeping, despite being told it would be handled. In addition when we got to the room on the first day, there was long strands of hair everywhere in the bathroom...

- dterry11 (10/5): Never Disappoints - We've been staying at Loews Sapphire Falls for so many years I've lost count. It's the perfect mix for us as we have everything we need to enjoy our trip (ferry or walking access to parks, CityWalk, walking paths, good restaurants, great pool). Sometimes we do the parks, most often we don't. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are good, the pool is fabulous, service from beginning to end is top notch, and the location can't be beat. We look forward to our routine each trip. Wake up, get coffee, walk the path to City Walk (sometimes to Hard Rock or Portofino) sit and enjoy the morning for an hour or so, walk back to Sapphire Falls, change and to the pool 😊. Every trip we meet the most amazing staff and catch up with some that are friends. Nico at the pool is our "adopted nephew" lol. We love seeing him when we're there. Attentive to all guests and always hustling to make sure everyone in his section is well taken care of. This trip we met master mixologist Jason at Strong Water Tavern bar. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious in the best way. He even shakes with style 😂. He made me a 'Jason special'. I'm calling it the Bird of Paradise. It was so refreshing and perfectly mixed. A great drink to end the night. We ordered room service and each time Axel brought it up for us. Again such an infectious personality! It was always a pleasure to see and chat with him. Though we didn't need anything extra he was willing to do or request ANYTHING that would make our stay more enjoyable. We also rented from the Avis in the lobby to head over to Busch Gardens this trip. The entire process from booking to pickup to dropoff was entirely smooth. I really hate I didn't get the agent's name. He was great. Very detailed and made sure we had everything we needed for the road. I just remember he said he really liked the mid-size Honda truck we rented. I didn't get his name because I was busy chatting with the wonderful Cassie at Concierge. We were talking about my husband and I's custom shirts for our Coaster World Tour and what country and coaster would be next on the list. When we returned after a very long and tiring day at Busch Gardens we found a surprise basket of goodies from her with a personalized note. It really touched us and made our trip even more special. Thank you Cassie 🥰! Interactions like these are why we will continue to choose Lowe's Sapphire Falls for our Orlando trips. Thank you for being consistently awesome!

In particular, I want to mention our Customer Service Manager, Michael Craig, who was exemplary in delivering above expectations to ensure our attendees were well taken care of and the meeting ran smoothly. I must also mention the set-up team of Reynold Jollaecur, William Cabrera, Matthew Kenney and Josue Acosta. These staff were always eager to help, move items whenever asked and always with a smile. These individuals are examples of what winners look like!
- Universalhappyplace (10/5): A Trip to Sapphire Falls with an Extra Surprise. - I traveled up to Universal for my yearly Mardi Gras stay and I chose the beautiful Sapphire Falls Resort again. From the time you walk through the doors and enter the beautiful spacious Lobby you can feel the sunshine beaming in. I was greeted by the lovely Emi on checkin. She was so kind and helpful. It was early in the morning when I checked in and I knew my room would not be ready, but I wanted to get an early start to my day. If you have a special request for room placement they do truly and accommodate if possible. I received my text that my room was ready about 11:00 am. Wow, that was awesome. I went back to the front desk and another lovely young lady named Lissy reset my room key and off I was to my room. I went to my assigned room number and to my surprise I was standing outside the doors to a Sapphire Suite overlooking the Lagoon. I thought there must be some mistake until my room key opened the door. I had been upgraded to a Sapphire Suite. What an awesome surprise. I opened the door to a spotless suite. There is a half bathroom off the spacious entry. There is a nice large dining room with a dining table that can seat 6 comfortably. There is a small kitchen area with small refrigerator, coffee maker and sink. There is coffee, tea and creamer and disposable cups to take your hot beverage on the go if you want. There is a large living room with plenty of seating and the couch does come out for extra sleeping area. There is a large TV in the living room. There is large TV in the king bedroom and a large bathroom with double sinks, shower and tub. There are plenty of soft towels and wash cloths. The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is attached in the shower and there is plenty of soap supplied. If you should need any thing you might have left at home you call or text for additional supplies. There is a safe, iron, ironing board and additional bedding in the closest and hair dryer supplied for your needs. There is an ice bucket and glasses provided for your beverages. The ice machines are easily accessible. The king bed, sheets and blankets were so comfortable. There was maid service everyday I was there. You are given the option of daily maid service on your arrival. My room was kept spotlessly clean and the towels and other toiletries were kept refreshed daily. I did have a meal from Amatista Cookhouse late one evening. I had a side salad which was fresh and the Chimichurri Steak flatbread. The flatbread was delicious. There is a huge store in the lobby to shop all your Harry Potter and other Universal items. There is the New Dutch Trading Company for fast grab and go food off the huge lobby. If you have a taste for incredible cocktails and small bites try the Strong Water Tavern off the Lobby. There is a Vacation Planning desk where you can purchase tickets in the Lobby. There is Concierge and Avis car rental available in the Lobby. There is a large beautiful pool with slide and rental Cabanas. This is a Resort that has everything you need to have a great stay. Mr Diaz the front desk manager was so kind and gave me some tips for looking for the Easter eggs at the Mardi Gras Tribute Store. I had a great stay at the beautiful Sapphire Falls Resort and wonderful time celebrating Mardi Gras at Universal Studios. What a wonderful surprise on the Sapphire Suite upgrade. Sapphire Falls is a beautiful Resort with the kindest folks who work there. The Sapphire Suite is a spacious beautiful Suite perfect for a honeymoon, a family wanting extra room to spread out or a grandma like me. Thank you Emi, Lissy and Mr Diaz and all who made my stay so special.

En realidad lo que me molesto que me cobraran el parking, a los huespedes del hotel no deberian cobrarles. Y para turistas de habla hispana no encontre muchos que hablaran el idioma.

- Adventure66906459443 (2/5): Avoid at all cost - Avoid at all cost unless you enjoy paying for "signature collection" and getting motel level experience. While the resort is generally clean and well laid out it has very little normal food service so you will find yourself wasting time and money trying to feed your family basic foods. Do not think the Drhum Club Kantine will save you as that food is one step away from prison and priced like filet mignon. Housekeeping is 8AM to 8PM and no way of getting extra towels during the day which is nice especially your first day when they give you two sets for a room booked with four people. Get ready to fetch yourself pool towels for the length of your stay. The shower water pressure is so low you may not even want to try to wash your hair. You will also learn how to hold down the toilet handle and count to twenty. The room itself was underwhelming. While the décor looks nice in photos, in person it felt worn and poorly maintained. We noticed scuffed walls, stained carpeting, and a bathroom that didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned. The beds were uncomfortable, and noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The pool area, which is supposed to be a highlight, was overcrowded, chaotic, and dirty. Heated pool NOPE. Dirty pool YUP. Don't forgot about the charges for Fiji water bottles that you never took. Save your money and look elsewhere.
- buttercap1 (4/5): Disingenuous charges. - Hotel was ok. Just a room, nothing special but nice to be able to walk to parks. Staff was friendly. Coffee maker didn't work but they did send a replacement 2nd day. Called desk to borrow a cork screw and they brought one to the room, tipped $10 for the service. On check out was charged $32 for the cork screw! We were not told we were being charged until it was already done. I would never have paid $42 to open a $20 bottle of wine. Also bought park to park tickets to ride the Hogwarts Express train between parks which was closed down for our entire stay. It was a scheduled closure and we weren't informed until we arrived at the park. No refund for the difference in cost. For the cost of the rooms should not have such deceptive charges.

- T0900 (10/5): Chill and clean property- just what you need after crazy parks. - I am currently at this resort with family and like it a lot. We have stayed at Universal Portofino and many Disney Resorts and at first I was worried Sapphire Falls didn’t have enough bells and whistles like those….but then I realized that’s exactly what I love about it. It’s a nice respite after a chaotic day at the parks. Every staff member we’ve encountered has been lovely and gone above and beyond. The text feature for pretty much anything you need is great as they are prompt to reply and very helpful. The property and room is clean (I’m a freak about that,) and it has a big heated pool with a slide for the kids. There are few other fun extras like ping pong and a little game room. Really nice gym too. This resort is very close to Islands of Adventure and the Universal Studios so the water taxi is a quick and pleasant ride over. We’ve taken the shuttle to Epic and that was easy too. Very timely transportation. The food on property at all restaurants we’ve tried has been great, including the Drhum Club by the pool, Strong Water Tavern (loved) and even the snacks at the coffee shop in the lobby. The coffee (k cups) in the room is bad, but they want you to go buy it from the coffee shop so we just did that. Having a nice time and glad we chose this place for our stay this year.

- AnthonyR0382 (10/5): Great hotel for visiting the Universal parks - We stay here for 6 nights and are pleased we did from the welcoming reception, to the movies characters in reception, the arrival couldn’t be more welcoming! Check-in was super easy and a room was allocated with a view towards the parks. The room was spacious and comfortable, you couldn’t ask for anything more. However, during our stay we did encounter an issue that did put a a dim view on the hotel. However on speaking with the management team they apologised and went above and beyond to make it up to us. Breakfast we purchased in the reception area every morning always fresh and flavoursome - would highly recommend. We ate in the restaurant downstairs towards where you get the boat (can’t remember what it was called) and again this restaurant was always good! Can recommend the half roast spit chicken! We ate here on a number of occasions after a day in the parks. We can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us and our son to make it one of the most special holidays we’ve done yet. Blinky the fish is now home and our son still enjoys reading the book before bed most nights! Thank you to all involved with Blinky and to the management team. A great holiday and would stay here again in a heart beat!
