- Odeta (1/5): Very terrible and dangerous hotel - Very terrible and dangerous hotel. Everything is messy: in the bathroom and wc everything rusty and moldy, mirror on the wall was broken. Everywhere smells moldy. The bedding was dirty. No one wouldn't to go or sleep there. We paid money but run away after 2 minutes, because is dangerous for people. We informed booking team about this place and asked the hotel to return money but they didn't it.

- Khurram (6/5): If you are looking for budget options, I should say that there are other similar options available. - The room's quite spacious. The location is at quite a suitable location with plenty of commute options at any time of the day/night. Broken window locks. Serious privacy and safety concerns there.
- Khurram (6/5): a decent budget hotel, however safety concerns remain. Change the window locks please. - provided earlier provided earlier

- Anna574 (7/5): Good - Good location near airport but quieter than other streets nearby, the staff is present all the time which made me feel safe. The room has closets to organize things, which is nice if staying longer. It wasn't very clean.

- Feketekek (2/5): Dirty - We actually did not stay at this place. We walked in from the street as we were looking for a place for one night with a pool. Already as we walked upstairs to see a room we noticed how dirty everything was. Still, it would have been OK for just one night for the price... until I noticed that the sheets hadn't been changed after the previous guest. We were shown another room, same thing there. Not just that the sheets were full of stains and hair, but even sand...
- Caligirl4life56 (2/5): Very poor conditions - What I've noticed about many hotel stays that I've had and I've chosen to stay at a variety is to be able to share an honest review with would be guests.
It's imperative to be unbiased and go in with an open mind as I do when shopping for hotels. However, what I've noticed is the standard of cleanliness that is lacking at many 3 star properties.
Imsa sure we all know that there is a certain level of expectation in quality when staying 4 or 5 star. However, in my opinion, whether it's a hostel, 2 or 3 star, hygienic, sanitary standards and property upkeep should not have be favored by high end hotels only.
It doesn't matter to me if it's a hostel, 3 star as I travel frequently and stay 4, 5 and 3, IF its sparkling clean as accommodations really depend on where you are and if I don't want to use my points.
I should not have to lower my standards of cleanliness because it isn't 4 or 5 star. This is the management and owner responsibility and onus is on them to randomly check their quality standards.
I didn't even stay here, but 15 mins, long enough to make alternate plans.
Front desk staff was smoking behind desk, hotel smelled of mildew and rooms were horrible.
I've stayed at Oyo in Ubud, Bali Indonesia at the Ubud One Villas and they were immaculate for only 7 $US per night.
No excuse for these conditions.
- whytefish (8/5): Great budget find - What can I saw about Dedy Beach Inn other than it is brilliant value for money, in a fairly good location in South Kuta with all that you need for a brief stay. We usually spend about $35 to $50 per night and were very keen to try Dedi. At the price we paid we were thoroughly pleased with all that it offers including good bed, air con, fridge, quiet atmosphere, TV, in room safe, breakfast, good staff and a lovely little pool. We only stayed one night but for the budget minded person who wants all the basic boxes ticked then this is the place for you. It is a great find.
- Nisarg2310 (6/5): Best in Budget with Great location.. - This hotel is perfect for bagpackers with simple living and outdoor pool with limited free breakfast menu. Location is great everything nearby this hotel like mall, market, beach and nightlife in Kuta..
- nhf2018 (8/5): Great family room - 2 bed, 2 bathroom, 2 TV, sofa. Recomended for family holiday. Lippo mall in front of hotel and by walking 500 m you can found Jerman Beach. Strategic area. You can meet some halal food beside this hotel
- Cindy0606 (6/5): You get what you pay for - Honestly, it was anything great but it wasn't horrible. The bed was clean and comfortable. The pool was very refreshing. Its good if you are transiting. Also, the guys at the tattoo shop next door are super cool and jam out which was awesome!
- Abanerjee26011989 (4/5): Poor experience in this hotel - I chose this hotel considering the good reviews. But the experience I had made me wonder about the ratings. The staff were nice and friendly and that is the only good thing I can remember apart from its good location.
Cons:
Dirty room
Filled with bugs
No door in the bathroom
Poor housecleaning
Pros:
Location
- erwin123452001 (6/5): Average guesthouse with a nice pool - The Family room was big en has very comfy beds. The Pool is nice. Location convenient and helpful staff.
The photo's don't reflect the state and maintenance level of the hotel. It's a bit run down. The bedsheets and towels were very stained. Still, we had an okay stay. I guess a double room with a pool for c. 20 euro are better value than the Family room we had for c. 40 euro.
- S6995NWemmad (6/5): Not as nice as I expected - So I came to his hotel because it had some good reviews. What was good about the hotel is that the staff were nice and they allowed me to check in at 10.30am. The breakfast was good and only 30,000idr. What wasn’t nice is that the hotel was slightly run down and my bed sheets were dirty.
- SiaAndersen (6/5): Basic accomodation - We only stayed for one night arriving late night from the airport, and leaving next day after breakfast. Rooms were fine, with two big beds for to adults and two kids. Bathroom and towels had seen better days.
- andreapJ6165PX (2/5): Don't Do It - So I booked this hotel through Agoda.com and it was a disaster. I didn't even last a night there, let alone the 8 nights I booked it for. Before even getting to the room I was already unimpressed by the lobby and the whole vibe. On my way to the room there's a huge dog chained to the fence and constantly barking and whimpering. I'm not afraid of dogs, but it was huge and it gets very close to you before the chain stops it. The room overall, is super basic and run down. At first the ac didn't work, so I had to have help with that. The white bedding and shower towel had stains and the brown bath mat was very discolored and unappealing. Then I walk into the bathroom and sink is barely attached to the wall and to make it even worse the shower has no water pressure and leaks all over the place. The wifi is weak so it doesn't work well enough to do anything. To make matters worse while in the shower debating whether to stay or leave the power turns off for 1-2 mins. That was the sign that it was time for me to leave. Don't stay here, not worth the headache and hassle. I barely lasted 2 hours in the place and that included me going out for dinner. I found a better hotel down the street. I guess this place is able to stay in business by not giving any refunds.
- lisanteagan123 (8/5): A hidden Gem - I stayed here for 6 nights after booking out of Bakungs Resort 20 metres down the road due to rude staff and a booking gone wrong. It was perfect and I would stay here again with no hesitation. I walked in off the street and was offered a rate of $25aud pn inc taxes and breakfast. I had a first floor room. It was small with a double bed that was extremely comdortable and had clean white sheets and a clean white doona. A lcd tv, small fridge, coffee making, 2 bottles of water per day, in room safe, aircon, hot and cold water. The bathroom was small but clean. The room I had was more than comfortable for a solo person or a couple. The pool was sparkling clean. There was a fridge at the small reception where you could purchase beverages. Reception staff were welcoming and pleasant my whole stay. Breakfast staff spoke limited English but I found this no problem. Im glad that my booking at Bakungs didnt go to plan because I found a quirky little gem I will return to.
- Nessteve (2/5): Don't bother - We had a booking for a family room (2 large beds in one room). Had it booked for months. We were arriving into Bali at midnight so arranged for hotel to pick us up. After waiting nearly an hour for our pick up which didn't show, we negotiated with a driver at the airport to drop us to Dedy Inn. On arrival we were walked up to the Homestay a few doors up. After lugging 3 suitcases up the stairs to our room we were presented with a room with 1 queen size bed and two pieces of foam on the floor for our daughters to sleep on (14 and 16 year olds) after protesting that we had booked a family room I was handed a phone and I presume it was the manager I was speaking to. He told me that someone else was already in our room and this was our room. He wasn't even apologetic. There was no way our daughters were going to sleep on the floor so I told him to shove his room and we left. So at around 0130am we were walking up Jl Kartika calling in to each hotel trying to get a room. Unfortunately it was the Eid Al-Fitr week and everyone was full. We stopped at Kuta Station and arranged for a driver to take us to Sanur. We were booked in to the Fairmont the following day so got dropped there. They didn't have a room available but we had family already staying there and they were happy for us to bunk in their room until the next day. The Fairmont were wonderful. Dedy beach Inn were terrible. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
- Shitake2009 (6/5): Dedy Inn - Although it wasn't what we expected and did arrive very late at night after a day getting to meet the balanese people (family) it was very pleasant except for the stairs - they put them in after they had built the top floors. So if you're looking for cheap digs this place is okay. Very clean and shopping mall just across the street. It also has free wifi
- catherineh56 (4/5): Big Disappointment, felt cheated - My husband and I reserved a room at the Dedy Beach Inn on Booking.com. We arrived at the hotel around 9:00 at night, and after we paid, the proprietor walked us down the street, to a place called Samudra Homestay. While the room at Samudra was clean, the sheets were threadbare and old. We told the proprietor that we did not book a room at Samudra Homestay and he informed us that the rooms are the same and it is all owned by the same family. The rooms are NOT the same, or at least the pictures on booking.come are very different. Dedy looks a little more upscale than Samudra. We were exhausted and tired, so we stayed, but if I had the wherewithal at the time, I would have said, refund our money, thanks, but NO THANKS! If you are on a tight budget, both hotels, would be fine for the value, I guess I should have thought twice about the hotel looking too good to be true for the value. Mainly, I am annoyed that we paid to stay and one place and we were accommodated elsewhere.
- 412michaelak (10/5): Perfect - Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Next is the street which is full of indonesian fast foods and stall of clothes. Also over the street is shoping center. The staff was perfect..they arrange for us taxi, laundry, motorbikes, everything.. Once I´d like to go back!
- thomasdN6065HF (10/5): Great stay - The place was really clean with a spacious bathroom and a really great working air conditioner. They had a very friendly staff. They were also very helpful. In addition they had really good WiFi. Plus is always a plus.
- jcarrilho1990 (10/5): Amazing! - Everything was great. Very nice and helpfull staff, we made the check out at 4 am so they made a discount. Very clean and confortable room. Nice pool. Amazing location. It is the best hotel in bali for the price. 5 stars
- jessicaledrew (8/5): Lovely hotel, staff could be friendlier - The room was exceptionally clean, pool was beautiful and my boyfriend and I really loved the hotel all together! The woman that spent the majority of the time at the front desk was rude and inattentive. She seemed confused at all requests, and was clippings her toe nails in between taking breakfast orders. This grossed me out.
