• Rosie (10/5): LOVE LOVE LOVED it!!!! - Absolutely perfect!! I just needed somewhere to stay the night for a quick beach escape and was worried cause the price was so low that it would be super dodgy- could not have been more perfect!! Perfect location with coles across the road, loads of takeaway and cafes around, hotel road service from the menu, beach across the road, bathrooms way exceeded my expectations, spotless room and beautiful comfy bed and linen, amenties supplied, tea and coffee supplied and flitered water, bar fridge in room.... I'll be back many more times every time i need a beach escape, which is alot! Thankyou guys, absolutely couldnt fault it. I thought it might have been noisy with the bar down stairs, but not at all!! I enjoyed listening to the music, it had all stopped well before 10 pm, literally nothing to fault :)

• Merryn (6/5): Great location, reasonable price, but very noisy. - Good location and reasonable price. Surrounded by good restaurants,a supermarket, and just down the road from the beach. Way too noisy at all hours, the doors closing from each room make a loud sound which makes you feel like you are in a jail. The children's voices echo down the hall way which makes you feel like you are on school camp.

• Shoshanna (9/5): Nice place to stay for a few days with great staff and location. - Great location. Phenomenal staff, especially MADDIE, Andrew, and the cleaners. Wonderful to have a sink and refrigerator in our room. Everything was incredibly clean in the common room for eating with the microwave and larger fridge and teapot were all very convenient. The bed was too soft for us, and the doors closing on each of the rooms were incredibly noisy. Both of those are fixable. It would also be wonderful to have some hooks in the room to hang up towels and wet clothes when we get caught in the rain!

• Heidi (6/5): Ok. Clean and cheap near the beach - The room was simple clean, bed made, and clean towels and crispy linen everyday which was nice. The room is Very very basic. It's on the bus route, near the beach and restaurants. Cold aircon. Very good shared bathrooms. . The carpet was awful. It's above a pub and looked like there'd been workboots living in my room. Kinda foul carpet cleaner smell throughout building. Some rooms were much better than mine. Don't get room 29 or 30. No kitchen but 1 shared fridge.

• Gemma (3/5): Friendly staff but extremely unclean. - Staff were friendly. We stayed in Room 11 and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Upon entering, there was a strong air freshener scent that seemed to be masking an unpleasant body odour smell. The pillowcases appeared unwashed and had an odour, and the blanket was visibly dirty with smears on it - as a result of this we were unable to use the pillows or blanket. The carpet was also sticky and had a noticeable smell. The balcony door was also extremely stiff, we had to use significant force just to get it open. Overall, the persistent unpleasant odour in the room each day made it difficult to enjoy our stay.

• heidi (9/5): I come regularly to visit a sick family member. I always have a great experience - The staff are so lovely, it makes all the difference. The only thing is that the mattresses aren't the best. Everything else is perfect

• Harriet_3 (2/5): Not worth the money - We were rather un impressed with the Palm Beach Hotel due to the cleanliness of the room and the bathrooms the bathrooms were completely out of stock of all shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The room itself also felt dumb and inadequate for the price we paid.

• Khoza (1/5): So bad and below standards - I would not eat breakfast in such a dirt place The room was so dirty and smelled. The place is not a hotel and should not be allowed to use that name. I have never seen a hotel with no room toilet, with single beds in a modern day. I was really not happy l was not even shown by the staff where the toilets were. They should call themselves a hostel or something. There was no value for money and they force me to pay extra $100 as security deposit. I have been to hotels across the world l have never heard that. It's only that arrived I late, l would have cancelled and never slept in such firty place. Booking.com you should never identify yourselves with such poor standards.

• Misha (8/5): Thorough enjoyable, perfect location and easy access to everything - It was easy to get around, find restaurants, access to the beach. The amenities were good, despite not being in the actual room. They were clean and handy. I left before the staff were on hand so had to actually phone them to get the deposit refunded to me.
