Guest Reviews
- Debbie (5/5): Would not go back - Cheaper rate Noisy , outside entry , curtains falling down
- Anthony (7/5): Great price and friendly staff - Price was really good, check-in was super easy, and the location was perfect for what I was doing that evening. The rooms were clean, and plenty of towels and the kitchen area was a nice change. It had a fridge oven and microwave. The heater works good I had turned to a.c on before I left that evening when I came back about 5 hours later it still felt warm but not to bad. The bed was really uncomfortable for my preference. I know everyone is different, it was really firm and I woke up stiff and sore. That was my only dislike.
- Amber (7/5): -
- Ali (8/5): Reasonable and clean - All good All good
- Brooke (6/5): - A reasonable price for the time I needed
- Tori (10/5): - clean for the most part
- Ashley (2/5): Mold - Nasty.. don’t recommend. Mold everywhere!
- Ashley (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Black mold on the floor and in the kitchen cabinets. The little kitchen area was nice to have. It had a fridge, oven, kitchen sink, cabinets, etc. It wasn’t very clean though. It seemed kinda dirty for sure. The pillows were paper thin, we froze because they only had duvet covers but not an actual blanket. And to top the cherry off, we were extremely busy preparing for the wedding when the guy kept continually calling asking when we were coming to check in. He started at 10am and kept calling throughout the day. I explained that we were setting up for a wedding and it’s a busy day but we would be coming to pay. He spoke a very poor version of English and kept calling back throughout the day. Finally around 3:15pm (which is only 15 mins after check in is even allowed btw), I sent my mom to go check in and pay because he wouldn’t quit bugging us. Overall, kitchen was nice. The rest? Not so much. We won’t be staying here again that’s for sure. We and two rooms side by side and both were in poor condition. People around us lived in their rooms as a home which makes sense to me as to why there was mold.
- Amber (6/5): - Spider
- Heather (10/5): - It was easy and quiet and an easy check in
- Rebekah (8/5): -
- NAKEISHIA (8/5): - This hotel is located in a very good spot in Jackson Missouri is very clean. It’s very quiet easy to get to the stores.

- Jorge (10/5): -
- MIchael (2/5): - The housekeepers steal and the owners help them and allow it I’m not changing me review Expedia it’s the truth
- Kimberly (2/5): - This room appeared to be clean. But as I do my own cleaning for my own safety it was not it was fly infested and when I got up in the middle of the night to pee there were roaches
- Holmes (9/5): -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty - The upgrades could be good but the place was filthy. My white socks were so nasty walking on the floor they were trashed. I put down rugs on the floor just to walk from the bed to the bathroom. The floors were horribly sticky. The humidity in that room was so bad that everything was wet. I have never had my yeti sweat before this one. Definitely did the paper was wet the next morning the covers were wet. Would not recommend
- Marsha (4/5): Not very clean - We killed about 15 flies in our room. Spots on the kitchen floor where someone had apparently spilled something.
- Savannah (10/5): - The property Manager, Mr. Champ very hospitable, & personally walks & survey the property & surroundings, this was my second stay here & I will definitely be visiting again soon, highly recommend!!!
- Hosein (2/5): - Ugh, this place was the worst! Seriously, it was filthy. Bugs everywhere, a disgusting bathroom, and the towels were so gross. The AC smelled so bad I couldn't even use it, even though it was like, ninety degrees out. They had a kitchen, but no pots or pans or anything to cook with. And the Wi-Fi was super slow. The only good thing was the TV had a bunch of channels.
- Thomas (7/5): Nice, comfortable, clean convenient. - Had a nice kitchenette with stove, full size refrigerator, microwave and sink. Would be very good for extended stay!
- James (9/5): -
- Jeff Stephenson (7/5): -
- Dana (1/5): Bad - The area has a lot of shops Room smelled like smoke, I could hear the guest next door using bathroom, toilet ran loud in my room when used, AC was loud when in use. Could not sleep, found spider in tub when trying to shower and just leave. Horrible experience Worst 5 hours ever!
- Pierce (1/5): Bad - Party with loud music, staff going in room when do not disturb sign out. leaking under sink with black mold. dust and dirt on walls and everywhere. Not booking here ever again.
- Deanna (6/5): - Dirty, price n rushed to leave
- Craddock (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craddock (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donald (10/5): - Only negative was no ice in ice machine.
- Jeff (7/5): Good -
- Paula (10/5): - They had stove and refigerator no dishes no pots and pans i bought food to make breakfast i didnt check before buyingfood when i went to check and there wasnt anything to cook with
- Sabrina (10/5): - Quiet and late check in.
- Alicia (2/5): Ghetto with bad customer service - The worst thing about this place was the smell of stale cigarette smoke. It looked as though they didn’t sweep or mop between guests. It was so bad, we booked a different location for the rest of our visit. We explained our concerns to the front desk and asked for our money back for one night. (This was a 3 night stay.) He simply said, “no.” There was no concern to remedy our issues.
- TED (10/5): - Full kitchen was really nice, but bring your pots!
- Drury (8/5): Very good -
- Roger (8/5): - This is a very basic hotel....no frills, as expected with a pretty low cost. It was clean and easy to reach off of I-55. Thus, it met our needs for one night while traveling and passing through the area.
- Craddock (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and fair price
- Drury (7/5): Good - Kitchenette Space, door was broke but they fixed it.
- Ian (6/5): Okay for a solo trip for a few nights - The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The ac worked. Furniture and fixtures are a bit outdated.
The owner was there to check me in after hours and available by the room phone easily.
—had some issues with water dripping from the bathroom roof on last nights. Owner was helpful and offered towels and to move me.
Area is well trafficked with restaurants and basic supply stores in immediate area. I felt fairly safe.
It was Okay for my solo trip, but probably would not bring family.
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional - All good All good
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional - All good All good
- Zachary (2/5): Stay elsewhere if you can. - I’m not a very difficult to please guest, but this stay was not a good experience. I arrived in the middle of a cold snap, only to discover that the AC unit was broken and my room had no heat - and no one alerted me to this fact when I checked in. There was a cheap, mini electric heater in the room which was less effective than a hair dryer at heating the room. The room was not well stocked and badly needs maintenance. The other guests were loud and active late into the night, rotting food was left lying in plain view on the balconies, and I felt very insecure. All told it was a very unpleasant experience and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
- Brenda (10/5): - Nice kitchen
- Curtis (10/5): - Just exceeded expectation
- Toni (8/5): Very good - The room was nice everything was clean and I had a great time staying here and they are really good people at the end of the bad and they are very kind
- Brandon (4/5): Misrepresentation all over - They seemed to clean okay before we had arrived, though at 9am the housekeeper tried to enter the room without warning (thankfully we had the chain across locking it that way as well) and he tried that 3 more times before giving up. We said we did not need housekeeping and he kept trying.
I ordered trip insurance, he seemed to have cancel that part of my order at the desk. My total had dropped the $4.50/person at the register and he took forever to check us in after already having my ID and room card in front of him, I can only assume this was to cancel my insurance for the hotel.
The shower head was more akin to a pressure washer, it sprayed through the curtain and soaked the floor out to the bed with the door closed and towels down. Some lights in the room didn’t even work. The beds were too hard, as well as we got a room with 1 bed and were given a room with 2 beds.
- Timmy (10/5): town house inn 4 stars - Overall it's a good place to stay, I stayed in a room that had a Kitchenette, which was very convenient and made it feel more like home. It had a cooking stove, laqrge refrig, microwave sink and cabinets, just like your Kitchen at home. so, YES, I recommend it more than any other with the price of only 65.00 you will not go wrong.
- Robin (4/5): - 1. They kept calling me ask if was still coming 7k
- Griff (9/5): Superb -
- Devin (2/5): - Sketchy property and guests.
Room was filthy. Hair all over the bathroom.
I moved the bed to use an outlet and there was disgusting debris all over the floor including Q-Tips. Bed was insanely uncomfortable. Never again.
- Rozland (6/5): - The bed sheets have burn whole’s in them the table had some type of liquid on it. When I wiped it down the towel was black it was so gross.
- Griff (7/5): k - clean needs a smoking area on 2 nd floor. guy hung by our room door to smoke
- Amber (2/5): - I wish I would paid here, so I could request my money back; both times we stayed was awful, toilets had urine and fecies all over, I have pictures of the nasty mess around the room the dirty beds they expected is to sleep in. We slept in our car last night in the cold cuz the room was gross and they would refund to being booked online never again will I stay here
- Ankesh (7/5): You get what you pay for. The price was cheap, but you have to keep your expectations low. - I needed a bed and a shower. I kept my expectations low and you need to. The price reflects that and it met my most basic of expectations. The room I had was large and was wheelchair accessible. The AC was strong and the surrounding area was mostly quiet. I used a keycard to get into the room. I didn't use the TV or the kitchen. Not sure if there was an ice machine. If so I don't recall seeing an ice bucket, but I didn't need it anyway. I literally was sleeping for 8 hours and moving on. The room had a kitchen ensuite that did not have any pots/pans/dishes, but I wasn't going to use it anyway. I did use the refrigerator to store some food. There floor was sticky in places and needed to be mopped properly. The shower wall was a little dirty in spots, but not enough to be grossed out and some toiletries were just thrown about on top of the toilet. The towels were ratty and old and not soft. The clientele felt a little sketchy, and I was worried about my car but it turned out just fine. Someone decided to have a bbq party on the side of the hotel which I wasn't expecting, but it didn't bother me. The sheets on the bed were cheap, the bedspread was thin, the bed was good enough but certainly not going to be top of the line comfort. It was a cheap mattress which is apparent from the springs I felt. When I had to checkout at 8 AM the next day, the office was not open and there was no way to leave the key, so I ended up just leaving it in the room and locking the door and leaving.
- Penelope215 (7/5): Good - The room could have been cleaner. For it to have a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator there were no pots pans or utensils.
- Dayon (8/5): Needed cleaning - Great for a nights sleep but very dirty.
- Chelsea (2/5): - This place no body should go here
- melanie (10/5): - Excellent for the price
- Tobi (6/5): - The room was nice with the full kitchen but I was surprised there were not any dishes or pans, anything to cook with. So in the future I will remember to bring cookware. The beds were a bit firm for my liking and the chairs a bit wobbly.
- larry (10/5): - The room price was very reasonable. The room was large with a kitchenette. The room was clean and no odors. For the price it was more than I expected.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I usual stay here this time was the first of many the towels were hair infested like bad hair like someone shaved and it was still in yhe sinks toliet didnt flush and room was filled with flys and nets
- Gaylon (4/5): - It was clean. For the rate being paid, it was a reasonable condition. Having to be informed that my reservation was not received by the hotel was an unpleasant experience. The hotel clerk was patient and helpful.
- Gay (10/5): - The TownHouse in Jackson, MO has been completely remodeled and has upgraded to Very Nice! Pricewise it can't be beat. Manager was accommodating to my needs without being asked. The room is very nice, clean, and has a full-size kitchen. Housekeeping is friendly. I am pleasantly surprised. Enjoying my visit so much more! I'd recommend staying here to Anyone! Thanks.
- hannah (8/5): - The clerk who check people in was rude. Other than that the place was clean n nice
- Marjorie A (4/5): - Sheets looked like not washed. Slept with clothes on and towel on pillow.
- Matthew (10/5): - The full kitchen
- Savannah (10/5): - Was very convenient to everything very peaceful environment.
- Robert (2/5): - The room was not clean. The sheets had not been changed. It was not a good place to stay and I would not recommend it.
- Ami (4/5): - Front desk was NOT friendly or accommodating, and made me feel like I was bothering him. There is no elevator for 2nd floor rooms. People were smoking on the balcony and playing music till midnight. No property oversight.
- Darren (2/5): Not a good experience - Room was full of roaches. The ac fan was making a loud noise so I asked management about it and she informed me they would send maintenance before the night was through. No one ever showed and was kept up all night. The next morning the cleaner informed me they have had a problem with that rooms ac for quite some time and nothing would be done. So I requested a refund for the second night and was denied. Save your money and time and go somewhere a little more expensive where they care about customer service.
- Joshua (10/5): - Good cheap room with stove and oven and big fridge
- Mark (10/5): Delightful stay! - Clean updated room, very friendly desk. Older property but room very fresh, nice and very comfortable. Will return. OUTSTANDING Value for the low cost.
- Lisa (2/5): - The Manager was gone after i had called abs said i would be checking in late, honked at me because i was in HIS parking spot. The next morning i went to check out and the same sign was on the window and no one was available to check out with. Horrible customer service.
- Karen (4/5): Hotel was clean, but I did not feel safe. - I booked this hotel based on reviews, and honestly, when you get a $70 hotel you do not expect much.
I will start with saying that the room was VERY clean. it was recently renovated, had a huge kitchenette and bathroom, and a great TV. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and sheets were soft.
That is the extent of what was good.
When we pulled up there were a lot of people outside on the stairwells and in the balcony. It was clear there are longer term occupants here, and I did not get the impression from the website or reviews it was as such.
When I booked the room I requested a first floor, and the person at the desk claimed that they never received my request. They were able to accomodate this- but it wasn't without a lot of back and forth and it wasn't the same style room I requested. The owner/manager also tried to tell me that he called me and talked to me on the phone multiple times and I had to hold up my phone to show there's no record.
Beyond that, I did NOT feel safe here. People were outside our door smoking the whole time. Everyone watched us come and go. You could hear people through the walls until very late at night. I was not comfortable opening the curtains due to people directly outside our door. We stayed there, but I wedged a chair underneath the door handle out of protection and left very early to avoid people.
- Barb (6/5): Emergency stay - We stayed at casino to long and just needed something for the night. Checked in 1:30-2:00 woke up the clerk but he was still friendly. He had us look at the room before we accepted it. It was the last room to be remodeled but ground floor which we wanted. He was right tho it does need work. Room was dirty, bed was hard, pillows were flat. I didn’t sleep well but like I said he did have us inspect it to make sure we wanted.
- Ami (10/5): - It was nice. No one bothered us. Busy street but other than that and someone got a wrong room number looking for someone but overall good stay. Nice location and bonus coffee shop next door plus a full kitchen.
- Verified traveler (2/5): BED BUGS RUN - Horrible woke up with bites from BED BUGS they refused to return my money have pictures and video
- Eric (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Billy (4/5): - Air conditioning leaked water in my room refrigerator doesn't cool freezer doesn't freeze.
- anna (2/5): - The manager of this property is very rude and has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen at a hotel
- Eric (10/5): - The staff is great the room is comfortable and clean.
- Eric (10/5): - Great
- Eric (10/5): - Nice affordable place to sta
- Kent (6/5): - The AC fan rattles. It is next to a busy highway.
- Brandon (2/5): - New manager was rude and disrespectful told me that i didn't have a reservation but but wouldn't even check the computer told me to come back upon returning 2 hours later again wouldn't check computer thank goodness for Expedia i got a refund only took me 8 hour's 😔😔
- Tony (2/5): - it was not good
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional - I love staying at the Townhouse Inn. My stays there. Are always great
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (10/5): - Always great
- Eric (10/5): - I always have a great stay here
- James (10/5): Relax - A little quiet time
- Eric (10/5): - Great stay
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (2/5): - Checked in. Went to room. Promptly checked out.
- Alycia (2/5): - Horrible no one was at the desk for the night check in and I lost money out of the ordeal wouldn’t even give me money back
- Michele (2/5): Not clean enough - The room was a converted storage room. There was a door to the parking lot and a door to the other side of the building. Both doors didn't keep out much road noise. The shower was a converted mop bucket sink and not well done. The rug is so gross; parts of it were caked in dirt and wet. The walls are filthy. The bed is hard, and the frame is loud. The air conditioner is loud. There was no desk or table or extra chair.
- Dawson (10/5): - Having a kitchenette
- Michele (2/5): Don't stay here - The room was a converted storage room. There was a door to the parking lot and a door to the other side of the building. Both doors didn't keep out much road noise. The shower was a converted mop bucket sink and not well done. The rug is so gross, parts of it was caked in dirt and wet. The walls are filthy. The bed is hard, and the frame is loud. The air conditioner is loud. I booked a room with a queen bed and kitchenette, I got a king bed in a very small room and no kitchenette. There was no desk or table or extra chair. It was a terrible room.
