• Joachim (9/5): Sehr gemütlich und super Service! - Sehr nettes, individuelles Guest-House. Viele kleine Details machen die Zimmer und das Haus besonders. Extrem gut gedämmt - trotz offenem Fenster sehr warm im Zimmer. Gemeinschaftsbad war überhaupt kein Problem. Es gab auf unserem Stockwerk 2 Bäder und eine Toilette, daher war immer etwas frei. Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend! Wir bekamen unseres extra bereitgestellt im Kühlschrank, da wir zu unserer Whale-Watching-Tour sehr früh starten mussten. Noch dazu gab es viele Tipps der Gastwirtin, um Magen-Problemen während der Boots-Tour zu vermeiden. Vielen Dank dafür!

• Manuela (10/5): Wonderful - Our stay was wonderful. We were warmly and kindly welcomed by the host. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well organized, as was the shared bathroom on our floor. We found the accommodation beautiful overall, with historic details and touches unique to the city that made it even more charming. After many hours on the road, we had a peaceful and restorative stay. The location was perfect for us, with parking available both on the property and nearby. We also really appreciated the freshly made coffee in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

• Kathrin (10/5): Sehr zu empfehlen! - Wunderschönes und gemütlich eingerichtetes Gästehaus. Wir hatten ein Zimmer unter dem Dach, was uns besonders gut gefallen hat. Bei geöffnetem Fenster hört man den kleinen Bach hinter dem Haus und die Vögel singen. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder sind sehr sauber. Im Haus gibt es zwei Stationen mit Tee und Kaffee. Für das Frühstück hatten wir leider keine Zeit. Die Innenstadt bzw. der Hafen sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen.

The room is perfectly clean as well as commun bathroom with hot water from the hot springs (like everywhere in the country). I slept well and will recommend this place Nothing

L'accueil était mal fait pas de sonnette, porte fermée , j'ai essayé de sonner sur la porte a côté qui est destiné a la famille mais personne venait. Des locataires ont fini par sortir ce qui n'ont a permis d'entrer et de pouvoir voir la dame de l'accueil qui était bien présente... entre temps le message sur booking me dit d'appeler le numéro sur la porte mais ils n'ont pas whatsapp et je n'ai pas de ligne internationale. Donc check in compliqué

• Véronique (9/5): Très belle petite guesthouse où l'on se sent comme à la maison - Cette guesthouse se situe dans une maison typique islandaise très bien située dans cette jolie petite ville. Très belle décoration intérieure dans tous les espaces, pensée avec beaucoup de goût. Du café frais est mis à disposition le matin avec des gâteaux. Notre chambre était spacieuse et très agréable donnant sur une petite rivière. Cette établissement me fait plus penser à une maison d'hôte. Nous avons passer un excellent séjour avec cerisesur le gâteau, nos premières aurores boréales. Le manque de communucation pour l'arrivée. On est resté bloqué sur le palier 1/2 h avant que le propriétaire vienne nous ouvrir. Il suffirait simplement qu'il y ait une sonnette pour éviter ce genre de désagrément. Les chambres devraient être un peu plus insonoriser.

Die Lage war ebenfalls super und hat perfekt zu einem entspannten Aufenthalt beigetragen. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Im oberen Stockwerk gibt es alte Holzdielen, die beim Gehen hörbar knarren, wodurch man Geräusche teilweise deutlich hört. Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen.

Были в доступе чай, кофе, горячий шоколад и даже беруши (кстати они не понадобились, было довольно тихо)...рассматривать этот отель было одно удовольствие - каждая вещь эстетична и наполнена любовью У воды сероводородный аромат, но на вкус чая это никак не влияло

• Wararuk (10/5): A Lovely and Cozy Stop After an Exhausting Travel Day - After 6 days of driving around Iceland and a very long, exhausting day on the road, arriving here felt like such a relief. We were so happy that we chose this place — everything is lovely, cozy, and welcoming. It was the perfect stop to rest after such an intense journey, and we truly felt we made the right choice. Highly recommended for anyone traveling around Iceland. Nothing at all — we really enjoyed our stay.

• Jeni (10/5): Cute town, cute guesthouse, cute room, cute stay!!!! - Cosy warm bedroom right on the front of the guesthouse overlooking the town, with a little table and chairs to enjoy the view! Modern decor with clean and modern bathrooms with everything you need. Great host, very welcoming, I even needed some laundry detergent because I spilt some diesel on my trousers and she helped which was kind! Nothing, I will definitely stay again when I hope to visit in the summer!

Definitely ask for another pillow as they were quite flat and uncomfortable but bed/bedding was great. Coffee was served in the morning which was nice. Tea and hot coco were out for anytime. Fueron muy amables y nos dejaron galletas, café y frutas para desayunar. Y como extra vimos la aurora boreal soñada. Me gustaría que tuviera cocina, ya que las opciones de restaurantes son muy muy limitadas. Y el baño que nos tocó demasiado pequeño
• Raya (1/5): Avoid this place at all costs — worst experience ever! - We’ve never had a worse experience in our travels. The owner was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. The guesthouse rules clearly state that check-in is available until 23:00. We sent her a message in advance, which she completely ignored, so we had to find a way to call her Icelandic number (which had no Viber, WhatsApp, or any other messaging app). When we finally reached her, we told her we’d arrive at 22:00, and she reluctantly said she’d be waiting for us at 22:30. We arrived exactly at 22:30 — but she was nowhere to be found. We knocked on the window, and a man inside motioned for us to leave. We ended up waiting outside in the cold like homeless people, even though we had already paid for our stay. By pure luck, the owner came out at 22:45 to take out the trash, and that’s when we managed to speak to her. She immediately started yelling that we were “late,” even though check-in was open until 23:00. The house itself was also disappointing — only one bathroom and one toilet shared between two floors, paper-thin walls (you can literally hear your neighbors breathing), no kitchen (just a tiny, tiny sink in front of the toilet!), and very small rooms. To make matters worse, two days later we received a notification from Booking that the owner was trying to charge us a late check-in fee! Absolutely outrageous. If someone cannot be kind, welcoming, or even remotely professional, they shouldn’t be running a guesthouse. Sadly, she seems more interested in taking people’s money than providing hospitality. Lady, you really should go check your mental health! Avoid this place at all costs — worst experience ever!

• Matthew (10/5): Husavik heaven - Wow these beds, duvets and pillows were the comfiest to sleep in. I didn't want to wake up and do things I wanted to lay in bed all day. It's a really cute and clean place to stay! You won't be let down, if I ever came all the way back to Husavik I'd stay here. Host was a wealth of information.
