The room was nice and comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean and we were very satisfied. This is the second time we stayed in these rooms and will definitely stay again when passing through.

- Kerry (5/5): Motel unit was clean but basic. But noisy. - Hotel - Motel so didn't have to go far for evening meal after travelling all day. Lots of noise, fan and light combined in shower - toilet so having to turn the light on the exhaust fan was very noisy. Only on cup for two people and when staff were asked for an additional cup were told a shortage of cups and couldn't help. We managed to go to the coffee shop and get a takaway cup.

- Karma (9/5): Fantastic...but not - 2 night stay. Very clean, central to everything, staff were great (with one exception), food was fantastic - large serves, great flavour, no extended wait, room attendant was friendly, genuine smile and easy to approach. I don't routinely drink. Tonight I thought I'd try a cocktail as a treat.The cocktail and the senior bar person dealing with their mistake was atrocious. Cocktail ($16) should have been purple. It was bright blue when it arrived at my table. I approached the bar a gently raised that I think an ingredient was missed. Well this launched into an argument I wasn't buying into. They alleged there is no red ingredient that is missing. I politely point out the ingredients on their displayed cocktail list. This went on for several minutes resulting in a demand to see the drink. I retrieved the one sipped drink. And continued to listen to their back and forwards between them. They offered red cordial as a substitute. No thanks. No other solution was discovered by them. Long story short....I butted in and asked for a simple lemon lime bitters because my meal was now going cold. They made it but did not refund or offer to refund the difference in price. Nor an apology. The same senior lady seemed responsible for the pokies room. I wondered in to take a look, thinking I might use my once a year pokies budget here. Oooh I noticed a good coffee machine, lovely refreshments, and a good choice of machines. I have played the pokies maybe 5 times in my life. Tonight seemed like a nice coffee and me time, with my friend who was playing already. Yay. Nope. The senior(not in age) bar attendant didn't offer any help with the out of order coffee machine. 15 mins later I approached her to ask if it would take long to complete the heat cycle it displayed on screen. Short reply, how should I know. So I should come back later? Yes.she said. Half hour later still cycling, no help or desire to assist. Of all the fantastic things I had to say about our stay (said to staff in person) this is a massive blight on the business. Left me feeling duped, and to be honest ...cranky. The evening could have finished with 5 stars all round...

I didn't feel like the carpets were cleaned regularly and I don't understand why let friendly room is carpeted.

Not sure why a dog friendly room has carpets, the room actually had a really bad wet dog kinda smell when we first arrived. Was a roach in the room as well as a number of flys...... seemed clean enough though not sure what we maybe couldn't see..... room was extremely noisy with people coming from the pub all through the night, setting our dog off (a him problem to be fair) but it was really noisy! Also limited to no grass for the pets to use.....

- Rebekah (7/5): Did the job for a spot to stretch the legs, I wasn’t fussy. Receptionist was lovely and friendly. Place was clean, food - Despite the negative reviews, our room was clean. Being able to park in front of our room was good. Handy having a great room service menu as we were buggered from travelling all day long and this was our halfway point/ overnight stay. Carpeted room but it’s pet friendly, but I’ve seen that in many pet friendly places before. No grass nearby to take my dog to the toilet meant we had to go for a hike, so the drunken feral animals in the beer garden were hollering for a cigarette. I didn’t have a cigarette. Absolute paper thin walls like a house- I heard every single thing from other rooms, down to a light switching, and them saying goodnight.

- Tiletha (6/5): An easy stopping point for travellers with pets! - The location was spot on for us and despite the "hotel" attached it was really quiet. We also really appreciated that we could bring our little dog! The room was a bit tight - an overnight stay worked but I wouldn't recommend staying more than that if you have a pet to fit in as well. The bed was a little too firm but what didn't work for me, may work for someone else. The doors though definitely need better seals or weather shields along the bottoms to stop cigarette smoke wafting under the door when other patrons are outside have cigarettes etc. That was particularly unpleasant.

Have always felt safe in my room and can order room service dinner from the attached pub which is a bonus. Well equipped for a small hotel room too. Bit loud outside late at night by motorbikes or people leaving the pub. But I’d stay again

The TV wasn’t working, the room had an unpleasant odour, and there were marks on the bedding—but we were too tired to let it bother us.

No windows for airflow. Our room was right near the pub/ game room exit so was a bit noisey when people were leaving all hours of the morning.
