Amber (1/5): - It was a nice place and would stay again if they had given me back my deposit which they took without any reason to cause I left the room immaculate. They charged me a deposit for no reason and won't return it

The owner wouldn't give us new towels and tried to charge me the whole $50 deposit for a little red spot from a strawberry that was on one towel and she didn't even wash it yet! She said "it might not come out". It's a white towel! Bleach it! There is a very loud train that comes through like every hour! If you don't plan on sleeping it won't bother you. The tweeker neighbors on the third floor might though. They have nothing to make the stay worth the $340 I was over charged. I wouldn't even pay $20 to stay at the dump again.

Richard (9/5): A comfortable, economical hotel which we would stay at again. - The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and professional. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, The Village Taphouse and Grill is just across the street and is excellent for food and drinks. The hotel is located approximately 200 yards from the railway line and trains blow their horns regularly throughout the night, some louder than others. After a while you get used to it. I didn't like having to leave a $50 deposit in case I messed up the room. I've never had to do that before, even in much more expensive hotels.

Ulrike (4/5): Didn't reach quality level in regards to price and competition. - The noise level from neighborly rooms was high. You could hear every step, opening of dresser drawer, outside steps and voices in the hall. Several lamps didn't work, the coffee machine didn't work. I tried different outlets.
SUSAN (9/5): Awesome! The spa in the room was perfect! Just what we needed! - Loved, loved!, loved!! the large sized bath/spa in the room!!! And for the price, to have one like that in your room is un-heard of! I'm a bigger girl, and my better half and I fit in there with ease! I do wish they had "safe to use in jetted tub" accoutrements/products, as in a soap, oil, or bath bomb you could use in the tub. I would even pay more for it! ***Just an idea to the owner, sell jetted safe products, or put some in the vending machines, people will buy them! I know I would! If I had thought about it prior I would of ordered some just to have it for my stay at the Village Inn.*** If I had to mention something I didn't really like was the bedding. The sheets were alright, but the comforter wasn't too cozy. It felt like it's been used for a while, but it didn't feel dirty. Other than that, it was awesome!

Every couple of hours, day and night, a train passes by and blows its horn several times. And also the pillows need to be replaced — they’re lumpy and very hard.”

(T - Absolutely nothing, the picture above is nothing like what you drive up to. It was a rough looking flat roofed building that said HOTEL on the side. The entrance was Not what you see on the website, the room was dirty. Debris on the floor, black long hair in the shower and bathroom floor. Plus Very Noisy!! The bed was Not Comfortable and the bumpy pillows were absolutely disgusting…

Christopher (8/5): The room was clean and very quiet. The price was very reasonable. Ice machine was great!! - The room was very clean, bathroom shower area where very nice. There was a mini fridge, microwave. The AC worked great, as did the heater. There were no unusual or offensive odors. Everything looked nice and smelled nice. About the only thing I would have asked for would have been a firmer mattress. The bed was very soft and comfortable and I slept just fine. But old back injury requires a harder surface but like I said, I slept fine and only mention this because it was truly the only thing I whished was better.

I didn’t go into this place with high hopes but the pictures we saw beforehand were misleading. Never again.

The bed was comfortable . The sheets were comfortable ,very soft , clean and that was a plus ! The water pressure for the shower was really good . Overall I would stay there again . For the price and what you get it’s very reasonable . No smells ! There is the train noise but we were so tired we didn’t care . If you’re looking for something high end don’t bother but you can tell they do care to keep it clean !

My biggest complaint was price, but everything is expensive in this part of the I-5 corridor on a Saturday night. Only stayed for one night. Convenient location near I-5.

Leroy (8/5): Very good - The room was surprisingly nice. A bit crowded for a disability room having two beds. We did a bit of rearranging to make it work. It has been remodeled and was very nice. A building close to the Inn had been torn down. It makes the back parking area and location look a bit creepy. The actual Inn was a great surprise. To me a little over priced.

I recommend staying in the rooms away from the freeway. It would of been nice to have a continental breakfast with coffee. But, otherwise everything was great!

Pierce (8/5): - The only thing I did not like was having pay for a damage deposit when I paid for the room that I have to rely on being returned in three or four days. Have never done this before. I was charged immediately and do not know why I cannot be refunded immediately. Would not stay here again because of this issue. On a good note, the pub across the street is probably the best one I have ever been to. Menu and ood were superb and the pies are beyond words

K (10/5): Staycation in Marysville - We wanted the hot tub room for a day off. Nothing fancy, no real amenities except for the availability of a hot tub room. Room was clean, well stocked with towels, great cable service. Food and drink restaurant is across the street as is the convenience store for a quick walk if necessary. It’s a nice little place.
