- Yanay (8/5): - An excellent location in Chania, a few minutes drive from the old town. The apartment is literally on the beach. There are restaurants nearby.

- Mohammod (10/5): Great stay, and great service - Very good service. The hotel is in a nice location with great sea views from bedroom and living room. The only downside was that the shower cubicle was very narrow spaced. The two ladies Tania and Monica were very cordial and cleaned the room everyday.

Bus stop across the road and you can take a frequently going bus to central Chania or other beaches. Lots of good bars and restaurants in the area too. Apartment had everything you need with a small kitchen and it was kept clean for us.
- John (6/5): - Great location overlooking Kalamaki beach and headland. Bathroom shower was super small (2 ft by 2ft) with just a shower curtain that barely stays hanging. Kitchen wasn’t even a kitchen. Small bar fridge, hot plate, and sink in a cabinet. Price was really good, great location and view, with a nice small patio to watch the beach from, but the bathroom and kitchen were a disappointment.
- Mark (10/5): Sun and Sea in late October - Amazing week at the end of October. Loved being right on the Sea and being able to swim with less than a 5 minute walk. Perfect base for lots of exploring in Chania and beyond. The hosts were brilliant.

- John (8/5): Pleasant apartment on the beach - Lovely spacious one bedroom self catering apartment with marble floors. Two balconies overlooking the sea and within one minute of the beach. Well appointed compact kitchen in a cupboard. Shops and good eating places close by. Amazing view of sunsets. Location is set back off the main road and therefore is quiet. Restricted parking available. Good WiFi.

- Chris (8/5): Quick one night stay - Only booked one night after flying in internationally. The apartments was clean and well appointed for our needs. Park on the street as there are only 2-3 spots down the dead-end street that leads to the building.
- Dereck (10/5): Almost on the beach - Small apartment block in Kalamaki village, a stone's throw from a sandy beach comprising a larger bay and smaller cove protected by an outer rocky "reef". A good selection of taverna's and small shops with good bus connections to Chania and other resorts. Owner Nellie is a delightfully helpful and friendly person, the rooms are serviced daily with clean linen & towels every 3rd day. Kitchenette is a bit basic but adequate. Most apartments have good sea views with at least one balcony.Ask about location and views to get the best location for your preferences - morning/ evening sun, ground vs higher floors etc. Immediate small "garden" and unfinished swimming pool between the apartments and the beach, belonging to an adjoining building still under construction, detracts somewhat from what would be perfect setting.
- Elisa (10/5): Enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sea Breeze! - Even before we arrived Nelly was very helpful and arranged a cheaper than normal taxi ride from the airport for us. When we got there she had left a bottle of white Cretan wine and a bottle of water in the studio fridge. Delightful surprise. Through the stay Nelly and the captain (the other owner) were lovely, helpful and generous. We got free treats, from fresh fruit to local food and a later check out for a very small fee. The place is super clean and less than a minute from the sea. The restaurants nearby have free sunbeds and umbrellas if you buy drinks (a deal compared to beach prices I have seen elsewhere). The location is quiet and offers you the possibility to selfcater (there are several food shops just minutes away by foot) or to pop in one of the local tavernas for cheap dinners (you can have two mains, beer or wine for 25 euros if you chose local dishes and house wine).
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing View - Our little apartment was all we needed, very spacious although the bathroom could have been laid out better and the showerhead a bit dodgy, it didn't bother us at all. The apartment had two balconies, one with full view of the beach which we accessed by walking down the stairs, with a restaurant on the beach and plenty of sunbeds. But best of all was watching from the main balcony, the magnificent sunrise each morning and the incredible golden moon rises when it was the full moon The other balcony was where we had breakfast each morning because it was cooler than the other balcony, it too had a sea view. The shop was just across the main road and the main street had lots of restaurants. The bus stop was just up the road with buses to Chania one way and Platanios the other. Our apartment was cleaned every day with new sheets/towels and Nellie the owner was a really nice lady who gave us fruit and a bottle of wine on our first night and more fruit later on. We will certainly think about going back to Kalamaki in the future
