- Michael (8/5): - The only problem I have is that I was over charged with double taxed and I used the booking.com app and my room was supposed to $59.00 plus tax total of $64.00 something and was charged taxes on the 64 bucks which taxes were already added Being double taxed

- Michael (6/5): - Peaceful n very comfortable The neighbor constantly asking me for cigarettes and I had to tell him to stop coming back and knock on my door
- Rebecca (8/5): - Nice space for a reasonable get away
- Tina (1/5): Bluetop sucks - The location How dirty it was and there were bugs, and mold and got an electric scock when. I turned the light on in the bathroom the wires were very burned very dangerous I got pictures....left the next morning to stay at my mom's was disappointing..and I fell on the ice..
- schneider (2/5): Worst hotel I ever stayed at staff did communicate well was the only positive but the dirtiest stink - Was the dirtiest hotel.... With animal urine in the hallways
- Gabriel (8/5): -
- Dawn (9/5): - There was no breakfast
- Sonya (5/5): -
- Brian (1/5): Horrible - Didn't like nothing about that place Everything
- Karl (1/5): Very terrible. I cannot believe the health departmentl has not condemned this place. - No breakfast offered, only coffee. I do not drink coffee. 1. Pushy clerk that checked me in.
2. The 9 cockroaches & 6 spiders I killed inside the room I paid for,
3. The mold all over the nasty shower stall.
4. The dead bugs I saw all over the the floor of the room I paid for.
5. Overall the Blue Top Inn of Stevens Point, WI. Is terrible so do not waste your money.
- Peter (6/5): Comfortable and met our needs, friendly staff - Cost Lacking glasses. Air conditioner very dirty
- Jolene (1/5): Smelly Stay - Friendly staff I did not get my deposit back even tho I canceled 2nd night before check in but it will also include the fact the I had to come back to the office 2x for room keys that actually worked and had to have the receptionist enter room and then when he couldn't fix it had to have the manager go back into the room which happened while we were gone without permission, the whole hallway/facility inside smelled of such bad cat pee/ammonia and cat litter that it made me nauseous and I had to have a air freshener sprayed multiple times an hour to try and cover it up, there was no towels in the room to shower, the tv did not work as we would turn it on and it would say we had to pair the remote and the remote wouldn't pair so couldn't watch it, the sheets were dirty and there was only half a roll of toilet paper. Probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had unfortunately.
- Jordan (9/5): - Very friendly and helpful. Large room and Great Value 🙂👍
- Wilharm (5/5): -
- McLean (1/5): I didn’t expect anything fancy but the bathroom was literally disgusting, I will absolutely never stay there again nor w - Location There was so much black mold in the bathroom and on the shower curtain I didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower. I took pictures it was so bad, I’m tempted to ask if there’s a way to get a partial refund because it was that bad. Plus there was hair all over the bathroom and urine in the toilet when I got there. Not the mention all the drunk young people screaming all night (it was Halloween and you can’t control stuff like that sometimes).
- Jane (1/5): - The key card wouldn't work 1st room changed room 2nd room key card wouldn't work. I didn't feel safe here. Wouldn't recommend it for a night. Hopefully we get credit for a stay that did not happen. We hit the road and never went back. No credit issued. He said we were too early. Web site hours are different than what we told credit card company. Absolutely disappointed!
- Pat (2/5): - Pretty gross
- Hunt (5/5): It was okay - N/A N/A
- Luce (6/5): -
- James (1/5): Would never book there again - Did not honor my reservation even with the booking number and left us stuck with no room As above
- Jeff (8/5): -
- Debra (9/5): We only needed a place to sleep for we went to a car show. Don’t was worth the money for what we needed. - The owner and the staff were very nice and helpful. In the beginning, a couple things. But they did fix the issues and we were fine afterwards.
- Nicky (1/5): - Air conditioning didn’t work had to cancel reservation and stay elsewhere. Working a/c
- Roy (1/5): Rough night! - Nothing Room smelled of cat urine and cigarette smoke!
- O’keefe (9/5): Affordable, nice staff comfortable place to stay. - No breakfast. Dale office clerk very personable and helped me out with some free ice. Also called later to let me know I left my driver's license at the office when checking in. Maybe a little bigger TV. But loved the room. Air worked great in a hot day.
- Hale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathon (4/5): Disappointing -
- steven (6/5): - Okay, this motel was like, 20 bucks cheaper than any other place to stay in the area, so I it would be dumb to bash the property and its shortcomings. Hotel Blue Top Inn was built in 1956, and it looks like it. I was especially disappointed with the city of Stevens Point-the road on which the motel is located is awful-there are probably better roads in Gaza. Check in was smooth. This is one of those properties that has long-term residents who like it sit outside of their rooms and smoke cigarettes and talk to anyone passing by. As I was opening the door to my room (you drive right up to the door) the gentleman in the room next to mine told me in detail the directions to the spot where he shot a deer in 1979. Nice guy. The room was spacious. It was clean. I wondered if it had ever been updated. I think the pillows were original. The bed wasn't terrible, but not that great, either. The bathroom looked pretty beat up. The towels were small. There were no wastebaskets anywhere in the room. I thought about calling the front desk, but by the time I noticed this it was past 8 o'clock, and I didn't want to bother the nice elderly lady who had checked me in. I'm used to camping, so I just packed whatever trash I made out with me. The TV was the real problem for me. I CAN'T STAND these stupid TV packages that want you to subscribe, or download an app...or buy whatever....and Amazon has their greedy paws in this as well....UGH. . I just wanted to watch the basketball game.
- John (1/5): Bad -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (6/5): Postal worker - Kind of gross but for single night business stay ok. Better than university inn.
- Lori (6/5): - Needed lots of updates.
- Jim (7/5): For the price very good accodmations for a one night stay. - Very clean & easy location off major highway. It is old but they are working to renovate. Also noisy bar with loud band next door.
- Paula (4/5): - I was afraid to go out after dark. Stayed in room and ate chips and drank water for dinner.
- Byron (8/5): Quick Stay - Check in was smooth and staff were welcoming and helpful. Thanks!
- Poulakos (1/5): Bad - It was cheap. There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom like it hadn't been cleaned. It was more like an apartment complex because most of the people with rooms lived there. The walls are paper thin. We could here the kids next to us cry and scream the whole time we were there. It was more of a ghetto than a motel
- Chris (3/5): Our stay was disappointing, yet we had a place to sleep for the night. - The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was dirty. There was some garbage around in the room and dirty towels laying around. There were no soaps in the shower nor bathroom. There was also a smell of cigarette smoke.
- Eric (3/5): I can see why there is a no refund for canceling. - Parking right outside the door was fine. The room spacious and for the most part clean The hotel is a 2 story and the floors and walls are very old and thin. I could hear the neighbors up stairs walking around all night. Also a child was in the hallway by the head of the bed and was crying in the hallway for an hour late at night and I could hear it like it was in the room with me. The tv did not have any channels whatsoever ever. Just snow with no way watch anything. The wifi password is not working. No info about anything in the room, like wifi password, front desk number. The beds were just OK.
- Meghan (7/5): Good - Good price N/A
- Ashley (5/5): Passable -
- Thomas (2/5): - The rooms appear to have not seen fresh paint since the late 50’s the check in staff was very uninviting. The rooms DID have new flooring put in which was nice, however, when there are rooms up above, the lack of carpeting took away a much needed sound deadening. ALL NIGHT LONG SOMEONE WAS WALKING AROUND UPSTAIRS!! The beds were horribly uncomfortable. Happy to say no bugs were sighted, but my guess is that even insects wouldn’t stay there!
- Robert (7/5): Comfortable bed and location is central to the rest of the town - Location and proximity to where I was visiting The Towles are really worn out
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Derick (1/5): Ghetto - The tv stand had Bluetooth stereo so that was cool. I had a sewing needle in my comforter that poked me and drew blood. Our heat didn’t work so it was 60 degrees in our room. The shower head was horrible. The water didn’t get past luke warm. Honesty it was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had even for the price.
- Matthew (2/5): Get there before 9pm or get locked out! - Booking was easy. However when I arrived there was no one at the door. I could not get in and could not get a room. no where in the booking did it say check in was required before 9pm.
- Linda (5/5): It was consistent with what I was expecting given the low rate. I would stay there again. - The bed was comfortable. It had a fridge and a microwave. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was close to a restaurant and an event we were attending. There was no coffee. The bathroom was pretty disgusting. Black mold or something in the grout of the tiles in the shower. The sink looked dirty and very old.
- Shawn (5/5): Passable - Sheets and blankets on bed where dirty but staff was quick to meet our request for clean sheets.
Room was nice and big, but a little chilly temperature never went above 67 degrees.
Otherwise, it was a good stay. room could have been warmer.
- Greg (10/5): - For the price of the room this place was great. It had everything you needed. It doesn't have a lot of extras. Granted it's not a five-star hotel but it had a TV, it had a makeshift fireplace, and a cabinet. It had a nice desk/table, mini refrigerator, microwave. The room was not perfect as far as the walls there's some spots that might need to be painted but to me that's nothing. The bed was nice and comfortable no lumps. Overall it was a nice stay. I would give this five stars. Not based on compared to other hotels perse but compared to the price you're paying you're getting more than what you paid for..
- Taylor (4/5): Great for the price if you’re just looking for a place to crash for a night or two - Right in the middle of town Heater fell apart just by trying to set the temperature, got stuck on high. Tv had no channels and could not get my streaming apps onto the tv.
- Sara (4/5): - Great hotel if you’re looking for a super cheap rate. Otherwise the whole place smells like someone chain smoked cigarettes for 20 years. Not the nicest or cleanest property, and seemed a little sketchy. But again, it was a super cheap rate so I didn’t expect much.
- Shelafoe (7/5): Good -
- Shari (2/5): A place to sleep, I hope I didn't bring home bed bugs. - 9 minutes from my destination. Room is in desperate need of updates. Small table fell apart when I touched it. Phone in room was not needed but would not have worked, plug into phone broke.
Carpet stained and burns. Bed had a leg I kept hitting with my foot.
Had no guide for the TV.
- Marsh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anne (1/5): Bad - No heat in room could not
Stay in the room. Temperature in room 50 degrees temperature outside 30. No one answered the phone
No person available to give us another room.
No response for a refund of 61 dollars.
- Bruce (7/5): Good -
- Robert (7/5): Nice clean and inexpensive - Nice fridge microwave and bed was comfortable Room was hot. Not a lot of food choices walking distance
- Gaunt (3/5): Regrettable lodging choice that was loud, unrelaxing, and VERY OLD! - Unfortunately I would honestly say…not a damn thing. The heat in the room didn’t work. It was freezing and horrible! Traffic noise want great either. Not impressed with the attitudes of staff either.
- Ben (4/5): Ok place but a couple of drawbacks. - Price Thin curtins, couldn't afjust heat
- KEVIN (10/5): - Owner and staff were very nice
- Bruce (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cynthia (4/5): Probably won't stay again - Bed was fine, there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room No blackout drapes and the bed faces the window, so the room wasn't very dark. No chair. No lights by the bed and no nightstand, so you had to get out of bed to turn off the light. No coffeemaker. Two vanities but no closet.
- Ann (8/5): - There was a nice restaurant and bar across the parking lot. Staff in property was very nice.
- Dayl (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (4/5): Check out early - Easy to find good location Condition
- Timothy (8/5): - The room was recently painted and new updated flooring added. The beds were comfortable.
- Kyle (4/5): Ok as a place to sleep at the end of your night, not worth staying longer then a day - Cheap price Lots of outdated amenities, a lot of sketchy people hanging around outside rooms and in parking lot
- Kunst (4/5): It was clean and the owner was nice for the price you got what you paid for - The location The bed was hard and old and uncomfortable
- Carmela (1/5): Disappointing stay - We didn't stay for breakfast The room smelled when we arrived hot and musty
The beds were awful and very uncomfortable
- Milagros (1/5): Bad -
- Davidson (2/5): Very poor -
- Keith (7/5): Good -
- James (10/5): Great place very friendly. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Forgot my pillows at room .
- Edwin (4/5): Not Recommended - One of the beds had multiple broken springs & creaked loud enough to wake the other person up; my back still hurts three days later The mattress covers were filthy. And torn. Dust bunnies were numerous. However, the people at the front desk were very pleasant.
- Mike (8/5): Just like coming home - I was born in the area it brought back memories as a kid seeing the sign it an old motel but it is very clean.
- Calsey (8/5): Very good -
- Dan (6/5): Pleasant - Price, quiet, frig, appeared to be fairly clean. Electrical outlets need updating. Lighting needs updating. TV had no easy instructions for how to use the streaming features. Bed mattress OK, but a bit soft.
- Thomas (4/5): We will not stay there again. Woke up with a horrible back ache from the mattress. - Not much. Almost everything except price.
- Michael (2/5): not much! - no breakfast everything
- Shari (5/5): Passable - The location, the price, and the bed wasn't bad. The bathroom was very small. The floor was filthy my slippers were black and they were brand new when I got there.
- Neering (1/5): Bad - Made the reservation months in advance. Last month, they sent me an email stating they overbooked the hotel and canceled my reservation. They actually didn't realize an event was happening and did not adjust their rates. Better off anyway as the locals told me this hotel is a haven for drugs and prostitution. It is very well known by local authorities. Stay away if you are with your family. If you're looking for action, then this may be the place for you? Will have to make sure my card was not charged for this!
- Timothy (3/5): terrible - nothing dirty old nasty needs complete renovation will never stay there again
- Brian (2/5): - Drove into parking lot and was too nervous to get out of my vehicle. Individuals that were sitting in front of rooms appeared to be homeless. Their clothing was dirty and hygiene looked to be non-existent. Other vehicles in parking lot looked like they hadn't been moved in many days. I donated my $74 in hopes that the owners will put it to go use. I found another place to stay.
- Shawn (8/5): - It filled the bill for us. Nothing special and a little dated, bur very nice staff.
- Loren (6/5): Overall quiet, my room was clean. and was able to get some rest. - My room was clean and comfortable, meeting my expectations in that respect. Parking lot full of cigarette butts, apparently the motel caters to out of area workers and transients.
- Christopher (2/5): - The motel and everything surrounding the motel is super sketchy, dirty and potentially unsafe. We found the motel halls and room to be dirty, smelly and we left immediately
- Diana (10/5): Enjoyable. - The property was well kept for the price paid! Not a thing.
- Brian (2/5): - First off place did not honor Expedia rewards and charged me full price for staying here, $90 instead of the $4 based on the rewards I was expecting. Room was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke, furnishings were stained and gross and the beds were old linens. Had to flush the toilets when we got in the room. Last straw was riding a bedbug on my clothing that was on the bed when I was changing to go to sleep. Worst hotel ever, and thanks Expedia for the false discount with your so called ‘points’.
