Guest Reviews
- Russell (2/5): Focus more on updating rooms and less on the lobby. It creates a disappointment when you leave the nice lobby then go t - Lobby was nice Bathroom door doesn’t stay shut or locked. Room was very dated. Sink outside of bathroom
- Kathryn (8/5): - Right off I 95. No dining near by. No stores.
- Harrell (1/5): Huge Mistake - NOTHING The room smelt awful, we were on the second floor and surrounded by construction workers that liked to party al night, while checking in another guest was in the office complaining about the same things. The man at the counter acted like he didn't really care about what was being said. He was not friendly at all! I think for the price that was paid the room could've been alot better!

- stevecagney (4/5): Substandard Accommodations - This motel will be considered substandard by most people that wish to pursue an overnight stay with them. I am not going to be too critical because this was just an overnight stay for me, on my way home. But, I will never stay here again, there are other places in the price range and in this part of the I-95 corridor that are much nicer.
This property appears to be under some sort of renovation. At check out, I saw the room status report at the front desk. My guess is that they rent about 15 rooms per night with the rest of the rooms at the property being closed for renovation. I know that renovation is in progress because I experienced grinding sounds and other construction sounds when I checked in, just above my head.

- Jacobsen (3/5): Never again. - They were supposed to have breakfast but didn't. Not even coffee. Used soap left on sink. Tub was slick and long hairs in it, no garbage can, no shampoo, lack of towels, asked at desk for these items. Attendant was complaining because she had to get them.
I'm not sure they changed the sheets.

- Kenneth (4/5): It was inconvenient. - N/A Your website is miss leading.
- Bernadette (5/5): Passable -
- Jeremiah (3/5): It was a dirty rat infested crap hole. - Right off the highway The place was run down, they had one guy running another hotel across the street and he would run back and forth. He was rude and on the phone talking to his family on speaker the entire time I was checking in.
- Paulette (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): I go to Weldon twice a year to fish and the Econo Lodge is a great value and is only five from the boat ramp, what’s not - Location, value, always found the rooms clean I have no negatives
- Drishana (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean and very comfortable to stay in There wasn't anything that I didnt like about our stay at the facility we will be booking there again soon

- Rivera (5/5): Passable -
- Shirley (8/5): Very good - The room was clean bed was comfortable a great price for one night I had no complaints
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Great location. Close to food and auto fuel. Two minutes off the interstate 95. TV was unadjustable. The language was set to Spanish. This wasn't a deal breaker. Just a minor inconvenience.
- Herman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Powell (1/5): Worst experience - Nothing Everything the place had bedbugs
- Louise (1/5): Did NOT stay. Non-working deadbolt on door. Door was outside door. - Dead bolt on room door did not work. Front desk clerk could not get dead bolt to work. I requested another room. Front desk clerk said there was no other room available. Being elderly woman traveling alone I did not feel comfortable with not having a working deadbolt lock; swing lock did not give me comfort. Front dest refunded payment; signed paper indicating refund would be forthcoming due to non-working dead bolt. To date no refund has been posted. I crossed the road and chose to stay at a different hotel.
- Shequena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Herman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ron (7/5): Served the purpose - Close to 95 Ice machine broken
- Herman (8/5): Very good -
- Quanita (1/5): Bad - They had roaches
- Jean (2/5): Very poor - The metal fixtures were rusted. The lights flickered. The neighborhood was sketchy with illegals staying at the motel. I was afraid. I just told you . They tried to upgrade an old motel. The vending area was so bad I couldn't go in.
- Rivera (9/5): Superb - The price is good it's clean needs a little upgrade but is good Nothing to say
- James (2/5): Very poor -
- Shirley (9/5): Superb -
- Shirley (9/5): Superb -
- Berger (9/5): Superb -
- Wanza (6/5): Pleasant - Continental breakfast was really on the low-budget side, only coffee/tea and cereal. Oh yea, some honeybuns, no juices, fruits, or other breakfast items and owers were disrespectful to their housekeepers and had a flashing light over the sink
- Tanequa (1/5): Bad -
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alice (7/5): Good -
- Dee (5/5): We had stayed there before and it was clean and a good value never staying there again. - No breakfast at this location but the Waffle House was just steps away. The room was filthy - the floors were dirty including a lump of chewing gum that had been there forever. The light over the vanity either had a short or needed a replacement bulb. The bathroom shower and floor had never been cleaned. To make matters worse - construction began early Sunday morning replacing flooring on the to level.
- Dominique (9/5): Superb -
- Beliakova (4/5): It was not a clean place, the room was not clean enough. And I didn’t see breakfast - I didn’t see breakfast, what I saw couldn’t be called breakfast. It was not a clean place, the room was not clean enough. And I didn’t see breakfast, what I saw couldn’t be called breakfast.
- Glen (4/5): Maybe the price should take into consideration the many guests and other nice additions to this experience? - They allowed me a bottom floor room as many do not after asking politely, oh and the hot shower. Well… aside from the very tight parking lot; the dirt. I had to clean the floor (see towel photo). The flickering light in which I had to shave under (Erie), and the one roach (many) who decided to cross my chest in bed last night! Yes I have him safe in a bag he’s ok.
- James (6/5): A basic room at an older facility for a reasonable price. - The water pressure was good in shower and the water was hot. Beds were comfortable although the pillows were a bit small. Room was clean and housekeeping was good. Nothing fancy but everything met our needs and no complaints.
- Toni (8/5): Very good - Very clean. Breakfast not well stoked.
- Michael (4/5): Ok for the price - Left before breakfast. The location was the best for getting gas, food, dinner, and the exit to get back on the expressway. Smell
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glorious (8/5): Very good - Location to my event. Ice machine. Saw some insects in the room.
- Guadalupe (9/5): Good enough to sleep over to rest and drive again the following day. - Good location The light bulb was not working on the sink.
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional - It was a great stay for one night enjoyed it
- Louis (7/5): I’ll never go there again - Nothing. Was. Just an old property Door to the room is not flushed. Daylight all around. Any creature can get in like rodents and bugs
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Kristie (6/5): Not sure I'd stay here again. - The staff was excellent! The lady working when we checked in about 9:30pm was wonderful and accommodating. The motel was very quiet and in a great location. Close to restaurants and shopping. The first room they gave us stunk to high heaven of pot. The second room smelled like an ash tray. The 3rd room was OK. At 11, the hotel manager(?) was with a family and was trying to get in our room. I guess with all the shifting us around, they forgot they booked us in that room???? The shower curtain looked dirty or stained, and the next morning, it looked like poop on the side of the bed. My husband said he thought it was grease, like from machinery. ??? It was on the side of the bed. The back of the bathroom door was dirty, and the tiles on the bathroom floor were loose.
- Robin (5/5): Passable - Location was good. There was no breakfast, as advertised.
Room was unclean (old food in the fridge)
- Lee (8/5): clean place to lay your head... - great value large clean... location value
- Herman (8/5): Very good -
- Martco7 (2/5): The worst place ever - This was the worst place I have ever stayed. There are many hotel options accessible to I-95 if you are on a roadtrip and need a place to get some sleep for a few hours. Won't make this mistake again.
- Daniels (1/5): Bad -
- Jason (1/5): Bad - I never checked in and they charged me so I wouldn't know nothing about the breakfast last time I was there they had no breakfast room was dirty staff was mean all the above should be shut down to the f****** ground
- Tina (5/5): Passable -
- Monica (1/5): Very disappointed and disgusted - Easy to get to from 95. Killed 2 bugs in the bathroom, one a roach. The whole room smelled like weed and there was a plastic bag strapped over the smoke detector. There were ashes on the AC unit inside. If I wasn't so exhausted from driving 10 hours I would have demanded my money back and gone somewhere else. Left before 7AM and no breakfast out so had to eat elsewhere
- Michelle (2/5): Worst hotel room I have ever stayed at - The room was gross. The pillow cases were stained, the sheet and comforter has cigarette holes and the rug was dirty. I would never stay here again
- Latisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanie (10/5): Average - It was good if you enjoyed carbs & were not a vegetarian who could eat dairy. The shower was not clean. The shower nozzle and the tub & walls were dirty.
- Katherine (4/5): Will not stay there again. - The price and location! It was not clean. Dead flies in bath tub and on bathroom floor. The dunk was dirty. The ac unit was all rusty and noisy.
- Donna (9/5): Easy on off highway. Plenty of restaurants nearby - Room clean and comfortable.
- John (1/5): Worst hotel experience ever - Very dirty, water damage in the bathroom with visible mold, stained bedding, smelled of cigarettes, very dirty overall, loud neighbors.
- Tim (1/5): Never go here - Nothing - it was a horrible experience They did not honor my reservation
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - Rude manager there with her child stated no rooms even though I had paid for the room. Still no refund
- Angela (1/5): Bad -
- frankl70 (4/5): Overpriced. - The room was a typical motel, with beds, TV and a fridge. However, $115 for one night wasn't what I would expect from a chain called ''Econo Lodge.'' This was almost $50 more than the coupon indicated the price would be.
- Norman (1/5): Terrible - Nothing They called me while I was on route and told me they didn’t have the room that I made reservations for. I told them I was ten minutes away and would be there shortly. When I arrived I gave them my reservation number and they told me they didn’t have my reservation. So how did they know to call me earlier to tell me they didn’t have a room for me? I left dissatisfied and canceled the return trip reservation. I don’t think I will be using Econo Lodge in the future.
- Brittany (1/5): Bad -
- David (7/5): I was fishing in Weldon and the Econo Lodge is very convenient to the boat landing. - Location
- Jadetta (1/5): Bad -
- Christiane (1/5): Bad - I Hadi cancelled be cause the y did not have no smoking room
- Susan (8/5): Good - Could be a few more choices Breakfast
- David (1/5): Econo lodged blamed Booking.com. I wasn’t impressed with the site. - My reservation was canceled when I arrived from a 14hrs drive. I had to find another place to stay at midnight.
- Constantine (2/5): Skip this place, many other options in the area. - Room smelled like marijuana when we walked in and there was food on top of the microwave. There was also still trash in the trashcans. Also, our hairdryer was smoking and probably a fire hazard. Finally, while the staff was not rude at all, they weren’t friendly either.
