- Hayleigh (9/5): Fabulous! - Lovely clean spacious room. Staff lovely too. Food was incredible. Easy to check in and out. Smooth flow all round. Mattress was a little uncomfortable, and no lock on the inside of the door. Which is fine as no-one can get in from the outside, but not wise in a family room with toddlers or young children who can open doors and escape while adults are asleep through the night.

Limited tea, coffee and milk, 1 hot chocolate sachet when there's two of you.we stayed two days so only enough for one day. We put service sticker on door so no problem really,it would of just saved them time coming in again that's all.

- Rick (8/5): Very nice stay, great breakfast, but staff member's shirt was too small. - The family room was great as they had the perfect number of beds for my wife and I and our 3 younger children. We had to rent a separate room for our 13 year old, but it was reasonably priced. - Lubna (4/5): - I'd consider this hotel for last-minute bookings or budget-friendly options, but be aware that the rooms may not match the pictures. Unfortunately, our room had stained bed sheets, noticeable cobwebs, and visible signs of spiders in various corners. My daughter was frightened by the spiders and refused to sleep in her bed. I had to remove them myself, which was unpleasant. Additionally, room service isn't available 24/7, closing around 10 PM, so assistance isn't an option late at night. It is 20 somthing minutes drive by car from lake district bational park so if you have children you would consider taking a closer accomodation, I booked two nights but checked out after the first night.

- Warwick (10/5): - The overall standard of the hotel was first class. The staff were friendly and professional. My wife's vegetarian requirements were easily met with a good range of dishes. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The quality and cleanliness was faultless. We hope to return in the future.. There was NOTHING that we didn't like.
- MAGALAGE (4/5): - It is an Inn/pub with dirty carpets and sticky tables in the dinning area. The food is nothing to write home about and although generous it is tasteless. The rooms are cramped with views to the car park. The room cleaning was good with a clean toilet but the carpets and other surfaces require attention. Not in the best part of town and not somewhere you want to explore. We had some money off since last minute, it really is not worth the full price.

We ate in the restaurant at dinner and it was excellent, the breakfast was excellent. All freshly cooked. It was very hot in room. We did put on air con machine, this helped a little.

Good atmosphere and it was notable in the restaurant that there was no music in the back ground so we could hear what each other was saying. The room was fine (Room 1) and the bathroom was excellent. Plenty of parking. The WiFi was really poor, even in the public areas. That's a shame as it is an easy thing to get right particularly as the hotel was a deadspot for EE. Same for the TV in the room which was hit and miss with a poor signal. There was quite a lot of noise from the room above us in terms of creaky floorboards - sufficient to wake me up. A slightly odd critiscism, but we found the cutlery (knives) in the restaurant pretty useless at cutting food!

- Aleksandra (8/5): We stayed here for two nights before our daughterâs wedding, family rooms were spacious - Easy access to room, staff friendly and attentive even though we were 2 hours late arriving for dinner it was no problem and we were communicating during our drive up from London. Sunday breakfast staff were a bit slow and vague and our table wasnât set. No mini fridge, tissues or body lotion provided which would have been useful as we were travelling with children.
