Alan (10/5): - It's a lovely boutique hotel right in the centre of Richmond. It's warm, cosy and very friendly. There are very comfortable seating areas inside and in the garden. Breakfast is delicious, with handmade bread. Just lovely.

AJ (10/5): Very pretty hotel - Lovely boutiquey hotel in excellent location for all of Richmond. Calm environment with beautiful furniture and lounges plus garden area. Helpful owners. Great breakfast included prunes roasted in Earl Grey!

Victoria (10/5): Best host & hotel in Richmond - Fabulous weekend, the host David was such a lovely guy and went above and beyond the 3 days & 2 nights we were at the French gate. Room 2 was beautiful and the building is absolutely stunning. So much choice at breakfast and all cooked to perfection but the highlight of the weekend was the chips. One of the best stays we’ve had for a long time and hopefully we’ll be back soon, David & all the team, can’t thank you enough.
