• tim wentz (8/5): - We loved the Hot Tub. It was spacious, hot, comfortable, and easy to use. Wonderful! The pool was not heated so couldn't get in it. The back door wouldn't work so I reported it and the manager said that door you have to lift up on it to open it.

The breakfast was home made, it was amazing!! The only issue I had which was not a huge deal, the tv was not working properly. The location was convenient and it was in a safe area. The hotel staff was wonderful and accommodating. No issues with noise. I would 100% stay here again.

The breakfast was superb & it was the most ideal way to start our first trip to Texas. We loved it. The parking spaces were huge and easily accessible which was a massive bonus as a Brit who hasn't driven in America before. Everything was clean, beautifully laid out & I hope we can come back again soon. Everything was perfect.

The water pressure in the shower was strong and there were convenience items like shampoo and lotion. It has been open a while and I've stayed here several times and I'm never disappointed in the upkeep. The only way to get water from the dispenser in the lobby area was through the hot water on the coffee machine because the cold water was part of the juice machine that is only available during breakfast hours.

The beds are very comfortable. They have everything that you would need including a laundry, pool, hot tub, gymnastics. The breakfast buffet was great. So many choices including eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juices etc. There is also ready made coffee all day in the dining room. Will definitely stay again. I don’t dislike anything.

• Robinhouston (9/5): A very nice place to stay in Lufkin, Texas - We stayed two nights with our granddaughter. Room with two queen beds. The room was large, clean, the beds were comfortable, Bathroom was large with tub and shower. We used the pool and hot tub both days. They appear to be clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of hot selections. Breakfast room was large. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff was courteous and helpful. Good value for the money. No place to eat within walking distance, but only a short drive into town.

There isn’t really anything we didn’t like but the door to the pool was broken and we did have to wait some amount of time for staff to open the door. With that being said, they went above and beyond to make sure we were able to use the pool.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and smelled fresh. The hotel was almost full, but I had no noise issues. We will definitely stay here again when in the Lufkin area! The TV would not work. You could turn it on or off and change the volume, but couldn't change the channel, and the picture would freeze up.
