• Monique (10/5): This is our third time staying and will be back the next time we're in town. - The location is great right off the exit with plenty of food, grocery and gas selections nearby. The 2 bedroom has plenty of space, comfortable beds and a full kitchen giving everything you need from home. Breakfast was a nice selection of options but my husband was disappointed that the waffles are only served on the weekends. I also would have appreciated more toiletries than bar soap.

The room was really nice for the price and had more than what I needed for the stay. I travel for work, it's always nice to find places like this that make you feel comfortable while you're away from home. Thank you for this experience. That I couldn't stay longer. Lol.

AC/Heater unit noisy, something vibrating in equipment ( fan ?) c.Business center was a small desk in the open lobby next to the couch the front entry, door and printer not working correctly d. Advertised breakfast set up not accurate, A toaster, packaged muffin that you would purchase from a gas station, same coffee station they use 24 seven in the main lobby, coffee grounds in the container, breakfast station area the size of a closet space. Would not recommend this hotel.

Breakfast also not very good. I try to stay at Marriott properties and drove 1/2 hr out of way for this one but wished I hadn’t. Staff were nice but they can’t do much with what they have.

• Chris (8/5): Great Option in Goldsboro! - I liked that the location of this hotel is very convenient for Seymour Johnson AFB as well as Walmart if you forget anything. I also experienced a quick check in and check out. In addition, every staff member that I encountered was very pleasant. However, the woman who tends to the breakfast area was exceptionally nice and helpful. For the value, my room was like a miniature apartment. I appreciated the desk as well as the mini table top which allowed me to sit on the couch and do work on my laptop. I enjoyed the breakfast, the selection was small but everything was good. I liked the oatmeal bar which had tons of options for toppings. The hotel itself was well kept and clean, however my room had some issues. First, there was hair left in the bathroom, as well as there was hair left all over the desk. I did not appreciate that. Other than this I enjoyed my stay. In addition I have one recommendation, (unless I missed where it was at) adding a pitcher or two of water near the breakfast area would be great!

However, I was given two king rooms side by side and one suite on another floor at no extra charge. The staff was very apologetic and accommodating. All and all the stay was very pleasant.

• Lakeshia (1/5): Horrible. We have always stayed there for many years Labor Day weekend. Never again. It it’s my Hilton owned no stay. Ve - Nothing this visit want be staying again. We stay every year with no issue. This time carpet was wet, no clean towels, no house keeping nothing. I didn’t like anything except the customer service except they didn’t know what to do.

Nothing out of the ordinary; basic rooms, breakfast, facilities. It's basically a stop on i-95 if your're stuck.

• thomassM6776VW (10/5): Hidden gem - must say that I was a little hesitant staying here after reading some of the recent reviews. It just goes to show that you can't always rely on someone else's experience. From the moment we walked in Myra at the front desk was so warm and welcoming that I knew we made the right choice. She remembered our names for the entire stay and just helped us feel like we were at home. Max on the afternoon shift was equally as friendly. All of the other associates were excellent as well. Management must be doing something right 😁. Rooms were recently upgraded and very cozy and functional. For a small kitchen they sure had everything one could ask for. If you have to stay in Goldsboro, then I'd make this hotel your first choice.

• Safari612552 (10/5): Great Experience! - This was my second visit to the Goldsboro area. This hotel left a positive impression on us. The professionalism, expertise and excellent service by Max, made the entire process comfortable and pleasant.....5 STARS to him! The hotel was clean, quiet and safe. Our room was neat and nicely organized for someone who needed good work space. I highly recommend this hotel. Max was a pleasure to meet. He went out of his way to help my husband and I locate mint tea bags the night we checked in. He was not bothered by the request and was extremely accommodating. Excellent customer service, very friendly and a great employee to represent the hotel. I had to make sure Max receives the recognition he deserves. Thank you Max for making us feel so welcome in Rm 322.

• alexcK6657CI (10/5): Spacious and comfortable. - Very friendly staff. Alexus, who greeted us on arrival was wonderful. The two bedroom suite was great. It was very roomy, clean with comfortable beds. Breakfasts were good, especially on the weekends when they set up the waffle makers.If I return to Goldsboro, I will definitely try to stay there.
• derr0lh (2/5): Worse night in any hotel. - When I arrived the person in front of me got my room. He stated he had no more rooms. I demanded to see the manager and he found a room. Thirty minutes after gwtting to room the family sitting area AC went out with error. The front desk came and relay from error message that AC would have to be reprogrammed and would do it tomorrow morning. I was slated to stay two nights. The bedroom was cool overnight. The main area and bathroom was humid and stuffy. I packed and checked out. I was able to hear road noise and cars starting start8ng at 5 AM. Front desk person was empathetic and provided a 70$ rate adjustment. The room was not worth what I paid to be miserable.

• dpoole6131 (2/5): Not living up to Marriott Standards - It's a nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but that's about it. Don't bother about the free breakfast; it's not worth the effort. Food is served in a 4 x 6 room, with two items that were supposed to be hot but were cold. I cannot say much about my room, room 302, on February 9 - 10, 2024. The carpet was torn up, to the point I was walking back from the restroom, my toe caught a huge hole in the carpet, and I went flying down on my knees; my left knee had rug burns, and the ride home started to be extremely painful, two days, its still painful to the point Im limping. I cannot understand a hotel that would leave carpet in this condition. There were over four different areas with cut or worn carpets. The ceiling in my bedroom had huge water stains on it, as well as a huge plaster patch. Your health and well-being may be an issue until this hotel is brought up to Marriott standards.

• P8009VMchrisd (4/5): Slap in the face to disabled guests - I'm staying at this hotel for a 10 day business trip in Goldsboro, NC. The hotel is fine overall. But they have two of the four available handicap parking spaces at the far end of the building. I have a great deal of walking impairment due to MS. The front desk attendant mentioned to me that there are many more handicap spots near the center on the back side of the building but that lot is closed for a months long renovation. Would it be that hard or expensive to paint a couple handicap spots in the front while the work is underway? The one bright spot in this review is the desk attendant Max. What a nice young man! He mentioned that he is employee of the month and they gave him a premium parking spot as a reward. He offered to let me park there. Since I was already parked in Outer Mongolia it didn't make sense. He then said that any time I get here during my stay and the handicap spots are full I could use his E.o.M. spot. what a generous guy. He deserves good parking more than I do hands down. The ones who should be sorry are the folks closing many handicap spots without making temp arrangements for your disabled guests. Max saved your bacon by his kindness! Chris D.

• DrBailey53 (2/5): Roach infested hotel - If you like roaches and poor customer service then this is your hotel. I am a lifetime titanium member with Marriott, and this is by far the most disgusting hotel in which have ever stayed. My wife, who is a platinum member, and I checked into our upgraded room after a long day of travel only to find golden cockroaches scurrying on the kitchen counter.we changed rooms but could not rest securely knowing that we were in a hotel that had roaches. The next morning we went in search of a manager to complain. We were professional ,l never raised our voice, but Bo was firm in my stance.After a back and forth with the manager in which I asked her “why am I getting all of this attitude when you have roaches” I was threatened by some goon from the back office and asked to leave the property. I was speechless. This is a low class property with management to match. What else can I say. Trash is as trash does.

Everyone was professional, accommodating and courteous. Thank you for making our stay great. I wish I could remember the names of the staff I came into contact with. It was very easy to see that the staff works together as a team and take pride in the service they provide to their guest. Old fashion customer service that we still appreciate.
