Guest Reviews
- Christine (10/5): - Fantastic and perfect! Roomy, clean and comfortable
- Fatima (10/5): - Stayed in one of the cottages. It was so cute. Had everything you needed. Only stood overnight wished we had more time.
- Jose O. (10/5): - Very relaxing, loved the different clubs available; beach, pool, tennis, playground for the little ones, bars and food. Some shops were closed due to being off season, but still enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to booking again
- Joan (6/5): - The property itself was nice, however the restaurants, pools and beach area are not open at all or regularly after Labor Day.
- Arpita (6/5): - We would have prederred to have some intra property tranaport whixh is non exitant today. Food at the inn waa not up to the mark.
- William (10/5): - Nice amenities.
- Allison (6/5): - Property was fine but did not meet expectations for what I assumed a New Seabury rental would be. Condo felt like a builders grade home that had been lived in for 10 years. Walls were dented, areas felt dirty with stains, sticky floors, chipped plates/bowls, low quality furniture.
- Rachael (10/5): - Great stay! Didn't notice it being dated or dirty at all like some reviews said. We loved it!
- Nicole (10/5): - Thank you so much for such a great trip! We loved it so much we’ll be back yearly. We can’t wait!
- David (4/5): Never Again - First thing we encountered was a dying mouse in the kitchen. Called front desk and got after hours message board. Told them what was happening and no one came by til the next day in the afternoon. My husband had thrown it outside by this point. Sheets in master bedroom were stained.
- Noah (10/5): - A great unique and quiet place, very close to Boston.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Condo was bare bones, with typical builder-grade finishes from the 1980s like skylights, track lighting, prefab plastic showers. Plaster was peeling in upstairs shower ceiling, trim ring falling off shower control. Backyard view and patio looks out at other very close condos. Beds were new, clean and comfortable.
- Mary Ann (10/5): - Excellent after hours check-in process. Clean and comfy townhouse. Wonderful amenities.
- Tamara (8/5): - Tired unit. Primary bath water closet leaked around base. No soap or paper towels.
- Christopher (8/5): - accommodation was good but cleanliness could have been better. Not bad but some areas needed more attention. Good restaurant and bar service on Thursday. No restaurant available on Saturday.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Perfect little cottage!
- Kathy (6/5): - We planned a quiet get away. there was so much noise we had to escape from there. We came to get a break from the world and could not escape the noise from your leaf crews. Will never recommend if your lawn crews are so loud and obnoxious yelling at 6:45 in the morning is not a standard a resort should have. I am giving unsolicited advice since we were given a terrible unit, and it had a draft through the back door, and it was in 30s it sucked! I'm sorry Expedia recommended your resort to us, but it would have been more pleasant if you tell your leaf crew to rake in the morning as your paying guest need sleep not noise. I hate to say it "we" liked the new updated menu and the food in main dining room but do not like the setup as the bar was full and extremely noisy, no such thing as quiet dinner because there is no sound barrier between obnoxious alcohol driven madness that ensued the one night we ate there. That is why people do not come to the restaurant as families and adults with class don't like seeing drunks in public, your staff may handle it well, but it should not be even necessary. Dust flowing out of the vent as if just turned on for the season, Up stairs bath tub is cracked and sharp to the touch. Thanks for asking for our opinion. We would stay there again if "asked too" maybe in the spring but would leave if given a terrible viewless unit again. No sunset as you gave us the bottom of a hill. It is a not good unit
- DonnaS4203 (2/5): Disappointed - I recently stayed at New Seabury on September 25th and while the location and amenities are wonderful, my experience with their customer service left me disappointed. Unfortunately, I mistakenly left a very expensive face cream behind in my room. I realized it shortly after checking out and emailed the hotel that same day. When I followed up with a phone call the next day, I was told the item wasn't found in the room.
I find it difficult to believe that it simply disappeared, given the exclusive nature of the club. While I understand that mistakes happen, I expected better service from an establishment of this caliber. A simple effort to investigate further or show a little more concern for the situation would have gone a long way.
It’s a shame that such a beautiful place doesn't match the level of care in customer service. I expected more and am very disappointed.
- Brad (2/5): - Extremely rude on the golf course and bugs found in the bed
- Maria (10/5): - will definitely go back again .. awesome place!
- Eileen (8/5): - The property was nice! Super location as it’s just steps away from the beach. Get to beach early or there’s no umbrellas available. They do a great job with setting up chairs on the beach. Hard workers! Beach bars are super convenient and bathrooms were clean. Tons to do all around. Nice restaurants, lots of shopping. Bummed to see some of the cute shops at marketplace aren’t there anymore. Still cute though.
- Judy (10/5): - Love the area and the amenities. Very enjoyable stay
- Reamer (10/5): Family Weekend Getaway on Cape Cod - Gorgeous spot in Mashpee area of Cape Cod - perfect for families or couples. Tennis, pool, private beach access, golf, dining, shopping, you name it. We recommend the condo rentals for families.
- Jennifer (8/5): Cute area and condo - Easy check in/out. The staff is very nice and helpful. Good amenities. The property is large and well maintained. The condo we stayed in was nice however it could have used a deep cleaning. I was bummed there wasn’t a bbq to use. Overall very nice and I stay there again.
- Gene (4/5): - My check in time was 4pm on Sunday. By the time we almost arrived I was told that they are leaving before we get there as on Sunday they leave at 4pm - bad news. We had some issues with the cottage and wanted to see if there are other cottages available, but there was no one available to talk to. Operator was rude as well as the people on duty the following morning. Pretty uncomfortable sleeping experience with the noise AC and noisy refrigerator. I asked for the late checkout by 10:30am or 11am at the latest the following morning, however was told that it will cost me extra $50. I explained to the manager about our issues last night, however she was very firm on their extra charge. I suggest you find another place to stay that values their customers and provide a better customer service.
- Lisa (10/5): - Great experience overall.
- jennifer (6/5): - Old and tired decor. Needs renovation!! Also many flights of steep stairs just to get to the front door. That should be mentioned in their listing descriptions. If you have any mobility issues you would be unable to get in the condo unit.
- Linda (10/5): - Stayed for only one night and wished it was longer. The condo was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Because we are early in June, we went off property to enjoy dinner at the Flying Bridge. The beach was wonderful, comfy chairs, soft sand.
I can say you will not regret staying here.
We will be back@
- sandeep (10/5): - Beautiful location with all amenities !
- james (10/5): - We loved this place. It was very comfortable and a great value for the money.
- X2122LQwayneb (10/5): Great getaway close to home. - My wife and I go in February most years. The units are nice and roomy (about 1100 s.f.). Front desk staff is helpful and very nice. It is within half an hour of any of the places we like to frequent on the Cape. We have found, over the years, a unit or two that might be in need of a little updating, bit overall our experiences there have been very positive.
Very well equipped kitchen, a bedroom up and a bedroom down, fireplaced L.R. Just a terrific place to skip down to for a little winter getaway an hour and a half away from home.
- Denis D (10/5): Great stay at New Seabury - Excellent overall
- Robson (10/5): - Good
- Lindsay-Leigh (10/5): - Great spot for a girls weekend. Quiet and even space for us to sprawl out. I would definitely recommend and come back again.
- Thomas (10/5): - Efficent in everyway. Genuine.
- Chris (8/5): - The Seaquarters #2 condo we rented on this expansive resort was spacious & immaculate as advertised. Being winter, we especially appreciated the fireplace in this particular unit! (Not all units have one.) The surrounding residential plantation feel was also very pleasant. Communications with the office were cordial and check-in was easy, even though a holiday. (Can't comment on any facilities as everything was rightly closed for Christmas.)
At the same time, the way the promo photos juxtapose the Seaquarters units with the Beach Club creates a misimpression that ocean access (which we especially came for) is close by. In fact. the beach and other amenities are just over two miles away! This should be prominently indicated, but is not. Further, walking is limited to the residential roads which, though slow, have no sidewalks or bike paths, walking on golf course paths is prohibited, and some roads are completely gated off, again, not indicated on their map.
So, if one is primarily interested in just a very pleasant spacious and well maintained accommodation on an appealing Cape Cod plantation, Seaquarters is an excellent place to stay. But if one also wants ocean access, choose one of the smaller "Poppy" cottages next to the Beach Club, or as an alternative, drive to the closer Mashpee Town Beach & S. Cape Beach State Park, which have wider well maintained beaches as well.
- Vc (10/5): - The property was just as described. It is clean and comfortable. The place is great! If I had to find something to comment on The kitchen could have a few more items. Like a good cutting board, some Trivets for hot pans, and some hand soap.
- Bridget (10/5): Perfect condo - Second time we’ve stayed here. Three ladies in our 60’s that travel 3-4 times a year throughout New England. The 2 bedroom condos are perfect. Clean and spacious, we love the place.
- Robert (10/5): - Always one of our favorite places to stay.
Beautiful condo in a quiet area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice 2 BR, king bed and two twins - We really enjoyed this stay. First off, we were notified a few hours before check-in that our unit was ready ahead of schedule. Check-in process was easy and desk staff were so welcoming and friendly. The unit was very clean and up to date. Very spacious, king bed was very comfortable. The unit had two bathrooms each with a full shower. There was also a washer/dryer in the unit. We would have liked a DVD player in the unit but the absence of one was certainly not a deal breaker. Over all, we really enjoyed our stay and will likely return next year.
- Michael (8/5): - The Condo was amazing. It was comfortable and the perfect romantic trip. The owners do need to invest in a new bed though. It is as hard as a rock. Being from the south we like comfy beds. I was tempted to buy them a pillow top cover. A mattress is about $500 to $600 take time and invest in your property. Other then that it was the perfect stay. We went on the off season so it was much cheaper than the summer time. Beautiful area and beautiful homes all around. We were about 15 mins from the ferry to Marthas Vineyard. Your also 70 miles from Newport to visit the mansions and everything. I felt we were in the center of all attractions in the area. Enjoy your stay it is worth it!
- sharon (10/5): - Great stay.
- so377111 (10/5): Excellent accommodations at new seabury:s quather Condos - We stayed in one of the quarters house. And we were impressed over the quality and equipment.
A family of 4 adults - master bedroom upstairs and another with two single beds downstairs. Close to the golf course which is superb. The maintains at the house were excellent-
- Malka (10/5): - This property was perfectly private yet close to all attractions nearby
It was a great house to make our trip memorable!
- Lawrence (8/5): Fall visit. - Very nice cottage, but the lack of amenities that were open due to the time of year was disappointing. Weren’t even able to access the beach.
- Jeannette (10/5): - wonderful area and perfect east coast vibe
- Tom (10/5): - More like a condo than a hotel room. A pleasant space in a pleasant environment
- Carl (8/5): - It’s a wonderful resort.But it’s difficult finding different venues.I even had trouble finding my condo.
- Linda (10/5): - Went to a wedding there it was beautiful!
- Mark (10/5): - Very quiet and remote
- Anjum (10/5): - Excellent
- Dream64587849897 (2/5): Being yelled at by the phone operator of New Seabury properties - I traveled with my family from China. It was our first encounter with a gas fireplace. We saw some flames in the gas fireplace and was concerned about gas poisoning. However, the phone operator was extremely rude. I called to find out if the gas fireplace could be turned off. She yell at me saying “Are you ABLE TO TURN IT OFF?” I said I don’t know how. Then she said “Jesus Christ” and then impatiently took my name and number and abruptly hung up the phone. The technician who called me later, on the other hand, was helpful and patient, resolving all our concerns.
- Nicole (8/5): - Even though are condo was beautiful, it was not by the ocean/bay. It was not walkable at all! We wanted a view of the water. We were surprised by this. The condo was very nice, but location was not what we expected.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Our place was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend!!
- Jin (10/5): - Check in was smooth and receptionist friendly. This unit is in a golf course community. So it’s very upscale and an estate. Upside is it’s clean and quiet. Downside is you must drive out about 10-15 minutes to reach anything. But this was not a big issue for us. Since we went during the off season we were give an early check in and late checkout!
- Cathy (6/5): Not so New - Needs some updating. TV's are very old and not SMART. Bathtub needs to be fixed so you can actually take a bath.Kitchen had very basic needs. Only had S&P. Mattress was very hard. Felt like I had bruises on my whole body when I woke up.
- Shounak (10/5): - It is a very well-maintained property with highly courteous staff.
- Lynn (10/5): - We had a great experience...
The staff was very helpful..She even called me & let me know my 2 units were ready early..
The condos were very nice & clean
I would recommend The Club at New Seabury anytime...thank you for making my experience a good one
- AmandaShoreshotz (10/5): Sea Quarters & Poppy Cottages - We love the SeaQuarters condos in New Seabury, they are all very nice, clean and in the perfect location near the beach and Mashpee commons.
Poppy cottages are also so cute & perfectly decorated cape cod cottages, near poppy beach & across from The Popponesset Inn. Perfect for couples & small families & the best spot to stay for weddings at Popponesset.
- Robert (10/5): - We loved the property. Second time staying there.
As nice as the condos are, it might be time for a few updates. Tv's are small, older, and basic wear and tear on furnishings.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay! - The front desk made everything super easy to check in and check out! It was a wonderful place to stay and would definitely come back. The upstairs bathroom did have a slight odor from urine underneath the toilet. If I was staying more than overnight I would’ve told the front desk. Otherwise, would recommend!
- Mark (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Stanley (10/5): - Great location.... very clean and comfortable!!
- Ching Hung (10/5): - We will definitely make a plan coming back in the near future
- Raul (8/5): Wish the pool was open :( - We absolutely loved the location and the use of our own condo for the night. We had plenty of space and clean linens. Our only issue was the email sent to us stated the pool was open until 6pm, we arrived just before 5pm so we quickly got changed and headed over to the pool only to find out it closed at 5pm. We were disappointed by this.
- Stephen (10/5): - Disappointed that pool and Inn were not open the week after Memorial Day.
- Eileen (10/5): - Beautiful area!!
- Gary (8/5): - Spacious accommodations, furnishings and appliances in very good condition, building needs minor repairs (front door bottom trim hanging, some windows don't open. No path from driveway to door, have to walk through mud or mulch area. Vacuum doesn't work. Overall property is beautiful, glitches are very minor and wouldn't stop us from coming back.
- MARY (10/5): - Clean, bright, plenty of space and privacy for 2 couples, access to New Seabury Country Club. Perfect for the long weekend.
- Robert (10/5): - Very nice property, clean and comfortable!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great - The place was great. It was comfortable and very clean.
- Vicki (10/5): - The property was well organized, clean & the kitchen basics were provided. Check-in/Check-out was effortless.
- Manos (10/5): - Great place great price very cozy, clean and relaxing. Would recommend
- Tyler (10/5): - Great experience! Will be back.
- Tina (10/5): - This was an amazing place to stay at. I have been to the Cape many of times and when I return I will definitely come back here. Very spacious, centrally located, and clean.
- JAMES (10/5): - Friendly check-in in gorgeous upscale club house. Surroundings are impecable with beautiful vistas of the ocean and golf courses. Holiday decor very festive. The condo that we stayed in exceptionally clean. Truly a great Cape Cod feel! New Seabury is first class all the way!!
- Lydia (8/5): - The amenities like the gift shop, beach, restaurant, indoor and outdoor pool, and kayaking and paddle boarding were great. But make sure to get a room with a view because our view from the room was a bad view of the heater on a roof.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed in this cute one bedroom cottage with a full kitchen and living room space. Perfect for a weekend getaway. It’s part of a massive property with restaurants and club house. Our place was very clean and neat. Loved it!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved our quaint quiet cottage across from the Popponessett Inn. It felt like we were on a deserted island…
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Like the calmness
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful property! Large living space and everything you could possibly need
- Megan G. (8/5): Quick off season get away - We found the townhouse in the Club at New Seabury the perfect size for family of 4. It was clean, gorgeous grounds, great weather, and the views from the main clubhouse and private beach area and pool are amazing. Although this is not on the beach, it is only a short drive to the club’s private beach and pool area.
The Mashpee Commons area that is close by is filled with shops and restaurants.
I’d love to be back in summertime to take full advantage of everything this club offers.
- Leslie (10/5): Nice, queity stay - This location was perfect for a couple nights away not too far down the Cape. The New Seabury complex was quiet and suitable for a walk around the neighborhood or on nearby conservation trails. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking utensils, but the property is also a quick drive to Mashpee Commons if you wanted to pick up dinner instead.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very clean with excellent service such as early checkin and locating a lost cell phone!
- Tammy (4/5): - Found a wad of hair on the upstairs shower wall, towel racks (both) downstairs bathroom coming out of the wall. Pulled out the couch to sleep and there was trash under it. Let alone I booked water front and didnt get it. Whole condo shakes ehrn the plows went by
- STEPHEN (6/5): Know your property! - I called the office about one week before we were scheduled to arrive. I asked a simple question...Is there a DVD player in the unit we were renting? The woman in the office checked with someone and returned my call stating that all the DVD players have been removed from the units. That's why I was surprised upon arriving at the unit that there was in fact a DVD player. It would have been nice to know so we could have brought some movies with us. NOT A DIFFICULT QUESTION TO GET RIGHT!
- paul (6/5): - the condo was just what we wanted for a family stay to all be together - a big space and some smaller outdoor areas- kitchen- 2 baths- fireplace.. it was close to the mashpee beach and south cove state park- which were great with trails long expanses of beach- maybe 2-3 miles away...
what was almost misleading and what we were not expecting was the seabury beach was a winding 1.1 mile drive from the condo, the condo was on a golf course and we just could not get a reservation for dinner in person or on the phone - we finally realized were were not really welcome to the seabury club member spaces when no one we asked in person at the restaurants knew how we could get a reservation , a callback for a dinner reservation hung up on me, and some club members did not leave us a space to walk on the sidewalk- I live in what is considered an upscale beach community and usually beachgoers are low key but not this place- so it was not my cup of tea- I would say to stay clear of the clubhouse...popponesset beach had nice chairs and a bar which were enjoyable- employees we came across were very nice except for the fellow who hung up on me
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall the townhouse The beach club was closed so the main picture is not what
- Jennifer (4/5): Not worth the price - We stayed in sea The grounds are beautiful but
- Passport297833 (4/5): Big disappointment Filthy condo - I rented a 2 bedroom condo for a family vacation. The condo was filthy....floors not clean, crumbs under couch....dishes in cabinet & pan dirty with old food! During COVID when rental properties have clear, strict guidelines from the state. Would NEVER rent here again. Beach & pool we’re very nice but not comfortable with a filthy condo. Paid top dollar for property and expected it to be clean anytime and especially during COVID.
- skimmer525 (4/5): Actually left early it was so uncomfortable - We stayed at the Sea Quarters in August and really did not enjoy our stay. The condo felt pretty outdated for $800+ a night, but what was really a letdown was how hard the beds were! They were so uncomfortable we could barely sleep, not to mention that on our first night there was something beeping every 30 seconds all night long that kept us up. It was so uncomfortable that we decided to just leave a night early as we really couldn't stand the thought of another painful, sleepless night. I would also not recommend staying in the Sea Quarters if you have a toddler - there was a very steep and winding staircase that we felt was a huge hazard for our 2.5 year old and kept us on edge the entire time.
There was a list of 5 restaurants so we thought we would be covered eating there for all our meals. But when we were there, there didn't seem to be anywhere open for breakfast which left us roaming 10-25 minutes off the property every morning to find something to take back. The only thing we did enjoy there was the beach and pool, which were very nice, but we found the whole complex to be confusing and difficult to navigate especially as a guest who isn't told upon check-in where these things are or what is open (you are just given a generic welcome packet...it is not very guest oriented there). Overall it was just a big disappointment for our only getaway of the year and we won't be coming back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very upscale community and right at the beach. Had to figure a lot out on your own and after having our dinner plans cancelled twice by the restaurant we really did not get any consideration - sorry we have to cancel. Did not feel real welcomed but like we were in someone else's territory.
- TravelingNAL (10/5): Maushop Village Beach Community in New Seabury - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our vacation rental within the Private Beach community of Maushop Village within the Greater New Seabury neighborhood. Our family vacation allowed us to enjoy days spent at the shared private beach, where we could walk to The Club at New Seabury and Popponesset Marketplace. The ocean view vacation rental that we stayed in was about 400 ft. from the stair entrance to the beach and had everything we needed to have a great trip. The mini-split air conditioning, two patios, and washer/dryer were great amenities to have when spending the week at the beach. We loved riding bikes as a family and taking walks through the village.
- JS (10/5): - Very clean
Beautiful private beach, well socially distanced
Excellent staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very spacious clean and comfortable. Checkin staff very nice and helpful
- Jaycee3022 (8/5): Overnight Anniversary/Valentines! - Beautiful Condo! Both Kathy's at the front desk were great and friendly! Condo was very quiet, secluded and a fantastic value. The only con's were although they did have a king bed, it was uncomfortable and hard as a rock and also the wifi did not work at all, tried to call front desk but the answering service picked up. But other than that it was fantastic.. :)
- Lois (10/5): - It was very comfortable and a great value for four people.
- Katia (2/5): Worst hotel experience of my life. - This place has no one on staff to assist guests. Our condo’s keycard access stopped working and we were locked out for 2 hours in a snow storm trying to get ahold of the hotel staff. Answering service couldn’t get ahold of anyone and left messages for 7 different people. After that, we called the police to try and get ahold of the people and after 2 hours of sitting in our car, they reached a contact. There were two pregnant people in our group that needed medication and we waited 2 hours in the cold trying to get in. This is absolutely inexcusable for a resort to not have someone on staff for guests. I will never stay at this place again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable condo unit, lovely surroundings.
- Suzanne (10/5): - This is spacious, yet cozy, the fireplace was key during the cold weather. The entire space very nice!
