Guest Reviews
- Barbara M (10/5): - Young lady at the check in was so wonderful and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is not like what you’d get with a chain, but it was adequate. The gentleman helping even melted some butter in the microwave for my toast since it was hard from the refrigerator. The family who runs this is very nice and wants to make your stay perfect. I’d definitely stay here again.
- Mike (8/5): - Nothing negative not great but good
- Jeannie (10/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Mary (4/5): - It was close to the park, but the amenities were spartan, e.g. limited Wi-Fi, meager continental breakfast, limited dining. Rooms were clean and staff pleasant,
- Raymond (6/5): Yellow stone overnight - The check in process was quick and smooth.
Breakfast had limited selection.
We felt it was a little pricey.
- Kevin (10/5): - It was as expected.
- Phillip (6/5): - It was close to Yellowstone, and cheaper than most.
- Gustavo (8/5): - Its a 2 stars hotel and so it is, nothing over the top. A bit pricey for what it was. Limited amenities and breakfast options. Breakfast area too small, got crammed a few times. Rooms were OK and clean. Shower and towels were OK. Soap was as tiny as I ever saw, like a 25 cents coin for hand wash and shower. Bring your own. The best was the staff which was friendly and welcoming, ready to help. I would return but would look for a better daily rate.
- Laurie (8/5): - Convenient walking to town for dinning and shopping
- Renee (10/5): - This was a great place if you want to get into west side Yellowstone, so close!
- Dean (6/5): - It was ok, but would not recommend
- robin d (6/5): - Lose the Carpet
- Dustin (8/5): - Great for the national patk
- Madison (10/5): - Good location from the park entrance. Decent place, very limited options for breakfast.
- Marsha (8/5): - Ok
- Stephen (6/5): - Location was good. Staff was friendly. Property was being remodeled, and it seemed like we were staying in a remodel project.
- Karen (8/5): - The room was great. Towels were so soft. Breakfast was pretty skimpy. Otherwise no complaints

- Alex (8/5): Clean and comfortable - This lodging is a few blocks from the restaurants and other businesses, but it's clean, quiet, and comfortable.
- Christopher (10/5): - This place was priced perfect and rooms had everything you need. Nothing over the top but you wont be spending much time in the room anyway.
- nicholas (6/5): - It's okay
- Amol (6/5): - The property was clean, good parking option. It has limited amenities and breakfast options. The food kept at breakfast was also one pack at a time needing us to ask every time. Bathroom lock wasn’t working also.
- Angie (10/5): Better than 2 stars - More than 2 stars! Was surprised it's only rated as a 2 star hotel. They have the best towels :) the staff was friendly, breakfast was good, clean, comfortable, close to town and close to the entry of Yellowstone Park.
- Amalia (10/5): - Great staff! Room was súper clean
- Amy (8/5): - Clean rooms but small
- Phuoc (6/5): - Our room next to the stair and it was noisy.
- Mingshuo (10/5): - Beyond expectation
- Nga (10/5): - Convenient location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Clean facility. Decent price for the area. Continental breakfast needs improvement.
- Yichun (8/5): - Good location. noisy AC, breakfast is very simple and limited choices
- Bianca (8/5): - Easy check in and clean rooms. Staff were so friendly
- David (10/5): - Comfy beds. Reasonable rates.
- Victor (10/5): A god place to reserve - The staff hotel made me feel like at home
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ordinary stay in west yellow stone —— the room is clean and small. Complimentary breakfast. Nothing to complain or to expect. The staff is very friendly.
- Brenda (10/5): - The staff was great and the location was great.
- Yuya (8/5): - The room was very clean and the bed sheets were clean.
Breakfast was simple, just bread and cereal.
- kranthi (10/5): - Geyser Inn is a small hotel but very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and Indida at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The staff, including the older gentleman at breakfast and the housekeeping ladies, were all very friendly. The service was amazing—it felt just like home. Great place to stay if you’re visiting the area!
- Janet (10/5): - .
- Christine (8/5): - Clean, friendly staff, quiet
- Shelby (10/5): - I loved this place. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very nice. They have done a good job trying to make the hotel look less outdated. We stayed 4 nights and everyday they cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels. We stayed several other places for multiple days on this trip and those services were not provided. The location was good. Literally a half mile to the west entrance of Yellowstone. We also enjoyed being able to walk into town for dinner and shopping. They have a very simple continental breakfast which was nice. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.
- Jana (10/5): - Friendly staff and clean rooms.
- John (10/5): - In an area that is shamefully designed to get as much money as possible from us voyagers, Geyser Inn was a fairly-priced alternative. The place is clean and the staff friendly. Well done and well recommended.
- James (10/5): - Clean. Friendly staff.
- Sabrina (10/5): - I highly recommend this hotel, it was comfortable and clean.
- Lisa (8/5): - The receptionist at the registration counter was super nice. Hotel is clean, in a safe environment and I would return!
- Mikel (6/5): - Beds were old and so was carpet
- Bridgette (10/5): - The staff was awesome and easy to work with. Clean rooms and easy access from West Yellowstone. We walked to dinner and were close to downtown.
- Alexa (10/5): - Nice service staff. Private space. Very quiet and clean.
- Jennifer (4/5): - Dated and basic
- Victoria (10/5): - I like the cleanliness of the place and it’s accessible to restaurants.
- Darcy (8/5): - Only stayed 1 night.Room was outdated.Hotel is sorta away from anything on the Main Street.
- Stefanie (10/5): - The perfect place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. It’s only a 5 minute drive to the park entrance. Geyser Inn is within a short walk of many shops, restaurants, as well as the museum. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was comparable to other motels and the staff very friendly. So glad we decided to pick this place. I can only recommend it.
- David (8/5): - Reasonably priced inn with comfortable beds.
- Maranda (8/5): - Great location right outside the West Yellowstone entrance.
- Dina (8/5): - We were tired after a day at Yellowstone the beds were comfy and place was clean. I but older on the inside but well maintained.
- Robbie (8/5): - No elevators and stairs were dirty. The room amd hallways were not vacuumed. Not a very clean hotel
- Stacie (4/5): - If I could give any advice it would be to stay anywhere else. It was like staying in a jail cell. Not comfortable at all. The “breakfast” was tiny and they didn’t trust you to make your own waffles which was 1 of 4 options so you had to wait for a staff member to make it. Two people worked there. The maintenance man carrying the mop stopped working to make my waffles. Really? Very overpriced. No amenities whatsoever
- Kevin (4/5): - Very old and dated. Don’t be fooled by the exterior renovation. Thin walls. Weak breakfast. Expected more for how much they charged.
- Matthew (10/5): - The room was comfortable and clean. After 6 days of camping it was more than adequate. Great location just minutes from everything.
- Dawna (8/5): - This property appears to be an older hotel that has been renovated. The rooms are small, but are clean and well maintained. The room has probably been recently remodeled with the bathroom being the nicest part of the room. The walls are very thin so I could hear the conversation of people in the room next door. Overall this is a clean, simple, updated room.
- Doina (10/5): - We arrived late and Maria was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and welcoming. Breakfast was plateful and the gentleman helping was very nice and helpful. Overall it was very nice stay.
- Brian (8/5): Comfy - Very clean. Friendly staff. Most comfortable beds. Good breakfast.
- Carolyn (10/5): - The staff were nice and helpful.
- Donna (8/5): - .
- Mikiko (10/5): Clean! - Near restaurants and shopping. Inside was old hotel, but very clean. Staffs are very friendly. The breakfast area was spotless when we stayed.
- robert (8/5): - Good location! Good parking! Very helpful staff! Room was nice the only thing we didn’t care for was the mattress. It was memory foam and we don’t like those, not firm.bathroom and size of room good! Also liked the fridge. Met all of our needs! I would recommend.
- Deborah (10/5): Very friendly and helpful - Very friendly and helpful staff. Appreciated the gentleman who made the waffles for everyone.
- Samer (10/5): - The place was very clean and staff were very friendly.
- Dennis (8/5): - Good continental breakfast.
Close to National park.
Clean. Good beds.
Noisy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The checkin was nice and polite. The rooms were clean.
- Curtis (8/5): - Neat and clean. Only problem was the beds. Both mattresses were "cratered" so you slept in a small vally.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful - People there so kind and welcoming!!!
- Matt (10/5): A - Great place! Clean and convenient.
- Wen Hui (10/5): - The room is clean, beds are soft, close to Yellowstone national park west gate
- Donald (10/5): - Very neat and clean. Very nice staff and nice rooms.
- Patricia (10/5): - Clean rooms with comfortable beds
- Adrienne (8/5): - Our stay was comfortable. The hotel is a little outdated. The walls are thin. I could hear people talking in the next room and I was worried they could hear our TV. The front staff were friendly. The Continental breakfast was okay. There was a man who made the waffles and served them to you (heated butter and syrup). The hotel was convenient and within walking distance to stores, restaurants, other activities. The hotel was very close to the Yellowstone entrance. I would stay again.
- Jeff (6/5): - Great location near entrance to Yellowstone. Staff was pleasant enough.
Room was small and poorly appointed. Breakfast was not appealing but lots of local options.
- Theresa (10/5): - This is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. I would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it.
- Sharon (10/5): - Easy check in with a friendly and helpful person.
- Todd (10/5): - A bit pricey but it was very nice to have a room right outside of Yellowstone so that we didn't have to continue driving any further. Convenient enough to walk the town and find something to eat.
- Thomas (10/5): - While the property is an older and a "less modern" one, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It seemed like a welcoming place. The rooms were not "updated" and I mostly missed having a small fridge in the room, but the microwave was excellent. Above all, it was quiet. No complaints!
- Kevin (10/5): - Overall the property and staff where great!
- Kathilu (10/5): - Clean, basic lodging
- Thanh (6/5): - This small hotel is conveniently located near downtown. It's pretty clean and the staff is very nice & helpful. Limited breakfast is included.
However, there are no dresser and closet. The soap bars are tiny. The safe is not in the room. We had 2 separate beds (room 301) and the mattress of one of them is so old that it's very soft in the middle. I had to lay on the edge to be able to sleep.
- SAMUEL (8/5): - The room was spacious for 3 adults. The towels were soft and fluffy, they seemed very new. I would have liked a full size mirror in the bedroom area. The only one they had was a 12” square that was hung way too high on the wall. So it was useless. It was very easy to walk into town for meals and shopping.
- Debbie (10/5): - It's very basic but clean, very comfortable beds, nice comforter and towels. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
- Jane (10/5): - Very clean, comfortable, and great service.
- Lilla (10/5): Very happy customer - Everyone at the hotel are courteous and polite and very friendly. We were very happy with the overall service and especially the attention to cleanliness.
Just a couple of suggestions:
1) The coat rack in the room is actually a bathroom towel rack which looked out of place and was too small to hold hangers.
2) A dresser drawer would also have been useful.
3) The handicap parking spot should be situated nearest to the front entrance.
If we come this way again we will definitely book at the Geyser Inn.
- Vanessa (10/5): - Staff is very welcoming room was clean
- Ronnie (10/5): - Was very satisfied with my stay. Everything was wonderful from checking in to leaving.
- Nancy (10/5): - Clean, quiet, within walking distance to town and nice breakfast options.
- Will (8/5): - The staff was friendly and welcoming.
- Cynthia (8/5): - Comfortable and convenient location. Needs better soundproofing between the rooms. I could plainly hear the people in the next room, and see the light from their room coming under the gap at the bottom of the connecting door.
- XINWU (10/5): - Excellent place to stay near yellowstone west entrance. Maria, the manager, and her staff are outstanding.
- Juanita (10/5): - Everything was excellent
- Greg (10/5): - Good value nice location friendly staff.
