Guest Reviews
- Sylvia (6/5): - Location Cleanliness
- Lidia (1/5): Not a pleasant stay - The location My room 102 was dirty had hairs on the bathroom floor, the floors and walls was not clean and the toilet was also dirty with poop stains.
There was a fly in my room, ant on my pillow and in the middle of the night I woke up with a spider coming down on me . Also the room had no phone for me to call the staff for help. And they work until a certain time .
- Deborah (6/5): Economical but very stark. A good economical stay but with few assets. - The location was good. We had a problem with the TV that was resolved by the manager. The access to the rear of the property where we stayed, is very narrow and not good. The property is older and has been rehabbed internally.
- Younan (9/5): Good but expensive for the value - Stuff is good, can be more friendly but they are polite 1- $220 for the night is too too.much, I will never pay more than 100 for this
3-breakfast was good, just a bit limited food
- Jabes (9/5): -
- Cresta (10/5): We had a pleasant one-night stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, which made us feel -
- Patricia (6/5): - The toilet paper holder was broke
- Senb (3/5): - The show is very bad and there was no soap and no I didn't ask for the handicap bet the mattress is without any additionally they asked me $100 is 4 days now I still did not get my hundred dollars well I was truck
- Jaye (8/5): - The room was very nice. The manager who checked us in was very pleasant. The breakfast was not good. Little fruit, the toaster only cooked on one side. The coffee was not good.

- Regina (4/5): Poor communication missing info in the listing - Rooms were very clean. Very convenient location. Beautiful scenic land surrounding building. I responded to a message from the property manager when we were in route to the location. I notified them that we will be arriving late at night. When I checked the app again to see if there was a reply there wasn't one. I called the location but did get an answer. We arrived at the location only to see a note on the door that the main office closed at 10pm. Which was prior to the phone call. We had no way of checking in. The location listing in the app had absolutely no verbiage stating the main office hours. What if we had traveled by bus or had flown? And had taken an uber to the hotel? We would have been stranded. We ended up having to spend the night sleeping in the car. My daughter had orientation at her school early the next morning so we didn't get to check in until later the next day. At that time the woman at the counter had told me I should have called the emergency number and that they had hidden my room key cards out front for me. Even though it was a huge inconvenience for us I didn't feel like it was an emergency. I don't understand why they couldn't have given those directions in the app messages or called me.
- madison (7/5): Probably would not book here again but if you’re on a money crunch this place isn’t the worst option. - I liked the location and the people working there were very nice , the property is pretty. They need to do some deep cleaning and pay a bit more attention to day to day cleaning. The bottom of our trash can was disgusting and the bottom of the toilet.
- Camacho (10/5): - Nice Todo bien bonito y limpio fueron atento un buen lugar cerca de mucha tienda y cosas
- Wanda (9/5): -
- Erma (7/5): Need some improvement , food choice not much - Clean Too much noise coming from the heater

- Mary (5/5): Although adequate this place would not be my first choice for another stay. - Breakfast was too early for us to participate. Location of hotel was good in relation to our agenda. Truth be told, this place was not first choice. I spilt some water on floor and in process of wiping up noticed that the floor was disgustingly dirty. I notified front desk when checking out. Even wood floors need to be damp mopped occasionally!
- William (6/5): - Breakfast very poor not much to pick from location was good Breakfast could be better time of breakfast extended No shampoo or conditioner in the shower
- Joshua (5/5): It was a $80 hotel room that went for $140 - It was easy enough to check in and out. The breakfast was pretty decent. The wifi was slow. Not many channels to watch on TV. The bathroom was tiny. There was something on the shower floor (I didn't touch it) . I had the room 2 nights , but they didn't clean/replace towels during my stay. The bed mattress was kind of thin, I could feel a board under it.
- Tim (10/5): Happy - The room and the property were all very clean, newly renovated and comfortable. I’m super happy I found this hotel!!! Honestly, nothing.
- robert (10/5): Enjoyable - Easy access to room, easy parking. Floors hadn't been mopped
- Sandra (7/5): Staff was pleasant... - The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast..
Bathroom floor very slippery.
Door to go out and in needs some maintenance done on it. Gap at the bottom needs fixing. Little creatures can easily come in.😲
- Margaret (5/5): Would not stay here again - Location was good. Good value. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast consisted of a waffle or some stale cereal. Beds were extremely hard. Bathroom extremely small.
- Rob (9/5): -
- Beck (7/5): -
- samuel (5/5): -
- John T. (6/5): -
- Elaine (8/5): Greet value for the money. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. - The view from the back of hotel outside our room Heater cycling off and on was annoying when trying to sleep. No availability of an extra blanket. TV was difficult to figure out with three remotes.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Everything there was fantastic
- Ronald (8/5): -
- Carol (9/5): -
- Wayne (2/5): The hotel that makes you want to go home. - Nice area rooms were very big.But that's the extent of it Rooms were so huge. There is nothing in them. There was a TV in front of another TV in the living room area. The bathroom was ridiculous to get In-N-Out of you literally have to walk in to close the door toilet was made for a child.Shower was dirty holes in wall dead bugs under the window Units that are cut into the wall tv remote controls were nasty the lamp didn't have shades on it. It basically looked like somebody threw whatever they could in these rooms. do yourself a favor and pay 20 extra dollars or more. To stay somewhere else, this isn't even the lowest in the area which is ridiculous.
- Mark (6/5): -
- John (4/5): Not a happy camper - Ok No recept booked wrong room
- Francis (8/5): -
- Janine (8/5): Comfortable one night stay with easy commute for trip to sight and sound - Easy check in and check out
Complimentary Full breakfast offered for me and my children with both hot and cold options Toilet kept clogging
- Vargas (9/5): -
- William (1/5): Will definitely never return to this hotel. - They were able to accommodate a parking lot entrance room for handicapped. Cobwebs on the wall, shower did not drain, bedding had stains on it, bathroom was very small and the mattress felt more like a box spring due to how hard it was.
- Jessica (9/5): Wry pleasant and the breakfast lady was super sweet. - All the places to plug things Needed more light in the bathroom
- Lindon (6/5): Comfort and affordability was not . - Location was great and the facility was clean. Staff was kind and efficient. There was no mats on the floor at all and it was cold to step on not even in the bathroom.
The mattress on the bed need to be replaced because it was very thin and uncomfortable you could few the springs my rest was very dissatisfying.
- Alan (9/5): Great - Great location to go places Need better pillows and more towels
- Kenneth (10/5): - Everything, great location, great people and great breakfast.
- Randy (10/5): -
- Curtis (8/5): - It was a very good value for the price paid.
Thank you,
Curt
- Brittany (4/5): Location good, beds bad - The location The beds were extremely uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on the floor but with springs sticking in you.
- Tod (7/5): -
- Christy (6/5): - This hotel is nicely remodeled, very clean. It is conveniently located. It's near many attractions including Sight and Sound Theater. It even includes breakfast.
We would like to suggest some protein options for breakfast ie boiled eggs or greek yogurt.
Personally, we did find the beds to hard/firm for our comfort. And this may sound silly, but the toilet was very low to the ground. Not good for elderly or larger framed people.
- kristin (2/5): - Beds
- Vickie (6/5): - No elevator you have to climb stairs Loud people on balcony smoking Staff wasn't helpful. Bathroom so small Had to stand across the toilet to open or shut door The door to the bathroom stuck and you had to slam it shut
- Ronald (8/5): -
- Daniel (4/5): - No elevator and put 90 yr. Old on 3rd floor. One ice machine on opposite side of hotel. Bathroom too small and toilet very small and outdated. Card readers on doors (we had 2 rooms) very hard to uses. Took multiple attempts on both rooms to open doors. Continental breakfast was a joke. Little more than a slight snack. Would not stay there again. Seems to be more and more typical of Choice Hotels.
- Linda (7/5): Won’t go back. - It was clean. Close to Sight and Sound theater. Could not work TV. In one room couldn’t change channels. No signal in the other room. Could not reach anyone at the front desk. Couldn’t get in the door. Two people are gluten-free. No options for breakfast.
- Nora (6/5): - The only thing was the matress it was to hard for me .
- Fischer (9/5): The Quality Inn Smoketown was an ideal place to stay to enjoy activities in Lancaster. - We stayed there to be closed to the hot air balloon ride. It was a perfect location. The breakfast could have included more items.
- Wendy (10/5): Great location - We loved the laid-back country feel of the location. The hot breakfast selection was decent. Rooms were clean and smelled good. The beds were very uncomfortable. That would be my only complaint. I ended up sleeping in the side Chair by the window.
- Carlos (10/5): - Good
- Annette (2/5): - They put a hold on my card for $100 stated that it would be put back on my card. I checked my card this morning and the money was taken out of my account. There was no damage to the room when we left. The mattress was hard as a rock. We will never stay at another Quality Inn again. This is the second Quality Inn that we had poor experience at.
- Sharon (10/5): - Rooms were clean great location breakfast had lots of choices. Maybe some softer mattress at some point.
- Cindy (8/5): - Great location and quiet.
- Stan (6/5): Stay was ok breakfast was very nice. - Location was great, I had requested handicap but was booked on 3rd floor. They did offer 2nd floor but had to go to 2 queens.
- Jody (10/5): - The lady at the front desk was WONDERFUL, so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, I’m always nervous when the room is an exterior entrance but this hotel was very safe. I will definitely be staying at this property again.
- Mark (8/5): - The price was great. The rooms were very clean and I really liked how they were remodeled. The free breakfast was great. Hot food, fresh fruit, low calorie food for people who needed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. B I wasn't sure if there were any smoke detectors in my room. The water pressure in the shower could have been a little better. It seemed very very low.
- Lou Ann (8/5): Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable -
- Jacqueline (4/5): It was an overall all good stay, needs minor issues fixed! - It was a quiet location with beautiful views The beds were very uncomfortable, they were hard and the pillows were very flat. There was barely any water pressure when you took a shower. The only way to get any decent pressure was when it was all the way on hot which obviously burns you.
- Septian (10/5): - None
- Lisa (2/5): - After driving one and a half hours with and arriving to this hotel at 10:45pm we discover a sign on the door stating the office is only opened til 10 pm EVEN THOUGH ITS STATED ONLINE ITS OPEN TIL MIDNIGHT. So we get there and there’s no way to get into our room or talk to anybody. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, either they are too lazy to update their information or they are too thick to know they have written midnight to check in. Thanks for the hour we had to sit in the dark parking lot looking for a new hotel because of your mistake. We will never stay here. But the only good thing is that the place looked cheap, not taken care of and thankfully we didn’t have to stay here. The reviews on here were great but if you look on google they say the place smells like bo and was a terrible breakfast so I’m glad they messed up and we got into a different much better hotel( best Western/surestay in paradise.)
- Elizabeth (8/5): - The floors are disgusting and should be cleaned prior to guests coming to stay there
- KAREN (9/5): -
- Teuta (2/5): - I booked for this hotel online and I had a family emergency and I tried contacting the hotel for a refund, they instead lied and said I had no booking online even after giving my confirmation number. They said to contact Expedia. I then did and they said that the hotel is not replying back to them. Not only did I not get my money back, I was ignored and was given horrible customer service when on the phone with the hotel worker. I would not recommend people to book here.
- Kimberly (7/5): -
- Davontae (10/5): Good place to stay - Everything very clean room and nice service nice pool and in a good area ❤️
- Demetrios (7/5): Acceptable but not great - Location . Comfortable mattress and bedding. Shower was not working properly. Fixed next day after complaining.
Mediocre breakfast offerings
- Kathy (8/5): We would definitely stay here again. - Breakfast, pool and updates were wonderful. Only complaint was the toilet was a bit slow and finicky to flush.
- Ray (10/5): - Friendly employees and very clean
- Matthew (8/5): - The staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast was good. The location is good. The bathroom is a bit tiny.
- Carol (9/5): - They have a new manager that is very friendly and nice and makes you feel welcome Bathrooms are to small the toilets are to low I am handicapped
- Julie (6/5): Couple stayed 2 nights - Floors disgusting-we bought swifter to mop them. They do not mop or sanitize them. Shower floor needed to be scrubbed and sink disgusting- needed to be scrubbed. Beds comfortable and sheets clean. Tv pain to operate and no instructions. Breakfast very basic and fruit over ripe. Price good but plan on having to sanitize counter tops and mop floor. Also air conditioners very loud need ear plugs
- Головко (10/5): -
- william (8/5): - Room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast choices were very limited.
- Maria (10/5): I had a great time, everything was near by that I wanted to go. - The pool The bathroom was too small, but otherwise everything was good
- Frank (4/5): - Dated room; could barely open the very old door; dead bugs in the corners.
- David (6/5): - Room was renovated but not finished. Lots of patches that needed painted. Grass around the property needed a mowing. Waited at the front desk for 10 min to check out…. No one came
- Charles (10/5): - Super breakfast. Warm and inviting. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
- Felicia (4/5): Given dirty room …. - The room was big… They first put me in a room , clearly dirty (beds not made , other guests property still in the room, bathroom gross) . When I went to the desk they said “give us 10 minutes”….. 10 min to clean a room completely for new guests? So I went up , and they were clearly confused like they thought I was already there. Handing me over people’s property asking if it’s mine…. I then went back to the front desk and asked for another room and she seemed confused but I got one thankfully. That room was better I suppose but I was still grossed out and worried with the idea they gave me a room someone else was either in still (given there was property still inside) or they just didn’t clean …. Then the deadbolt did not lock in the new room which really made me nervous … it was just for one night so I sucked it up but it was not a great experience.
- Margaret (4/5): - This was not a great hotel for us. There was garbage laying around outside that wasn't picked up during our 2 day stay. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable and slid around on the metal frame. It was the equivalent of sleeping on a sofa bed. The bathroom is a whole other story. The sink area is out in the open and the toilet and shower are in a small room the size of a closet. We literally had to stand in the shower to open and close the door. The free breakfast was also interesting. There was no hot food the 2 days we were there even though they have the setup for it. They had 4 apples in a stand, 2 cereals to choose from, and bagels and wheat toast. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday so maybe that had something to do with their selection. It definitely isn't what I've seen in many other hotels I'vebeen to. I'm not usually one to cut down a hotel, I really do try to be nice but in this instance, I just had to lay it all out.
- Ronald (9/5): -
- Thomas (2/5): - Hhh
- Dorretta (8/5): - It was difficult without an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor.
