- Brian (7/5): Clean but weird - Property was very clean. Zero staff on site. I’m not sure there’s a level floor in the building. Looks like most of the maintenance has been done by unpaid nephews. One of the major reasons we booked was because there is a diner attached… it was temporarily closed. Staff never responded to my booking.com messages and when I called they told me I had to call booking.com. In the end we thought it was very clean, but very odd and decided there’s better options for the price point.

- Ronit (1/5): Don't go there! - The size of the room There is no staff, rooms are large but poorly decorated. Definitely one of the less welcoming hotel we have been in and we are traveling often. The place is depressing.

(Less than a mile walk) my husband and I enjoyed the very spacious room. I did think it was odd that there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. You have to call a number once you get there.

- Randall (10/5): We look forward to staying in this hotel every time we drive to the Anchorage/Palmer area. - My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times and what we really like is that it is right in downtown Palmer and the handicap room is wonderful. The parking in the rear of the hotel is very convenient. The Sunrise Restaurant in the same building is a real plus factor, They have very good food and the service is very good. Nothing! The Eagle Hotel in Palmer is one of our favorite hotels.

- Andrew (8/5): Convenitent Place to Stay in Palmer, AK - Location close to central Palmer. Room was clean. Some street noise, but otherwise quiet. A temporary heating/cooling unit was setup under the window but the intake wasn't connected to the outside. We were able to open the window and run the ceiling fan, which was adequate for cooling down the room. We were disappointed that the attached Sunrise Grill was closed for the entire month of July (based on a hand-written sign taped to the entrance door) but we found other places to eat nearby. HVAC was not fully connected. Sunrise Grill was closed (but Google Maps showed it as open).

- shana (4/5): Not again, expensive for nothing! - It was CRAZY expensive with lots of surprise add on charges for a very basic no amenities hotel. Check in receptionist was helpful but condescending. Ither staff, who you never see were dismissive and uninformed when you tried to contact them via phone. I was traveling with my elderly aunt and mom and had to debate for some time to get a room where they did not have to walk up several flights of stairs. Information included with the booking. Then almost as soon as we got to our room the elevator went out, and was out for the rest of the time so my elderly family had to stay in the room cause it was too hard to do the stairs for dinner. The bathroom shower had no mat or no slip stickers. Very unsafe for everyone. Even my husband slipped and pulled his back out. The shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold and nothing in between. There was no compensation for any of the above nor did anyone care to address and of the concerns.

The plug-in air freshners. Too strong, had to remove and put in a drawer. Never met a person at the front desk. Had to call on the phone to checkin. Even at check out there was not a person at the desk. First time ever encountering this process!
