• Maria (8/5): Okay voor 2 nachten - Ruime kamer. Het onsen op het balkon! Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Gezien de ligging van het hotel: de shuttle bus van het hotel. Het doet gedateerd aan. Ontbijt was niet geweldig en het ligt best ver van het centrum. Prima als je met eigen vervoer bent.
• Nero (7/5): Good place to stay with a terrace spring water bath and a separate public bath, but car is required. - The room is very spacious and clean, bed is soft, and the terrace bath is also really enjoyable, especially at night. The public onsen is really good, although the outdoor section is a little cozy. Free parking. Staff is nice. The vending machines are good to have, especially since there is alcohol on offer. The small giftshop around the lounge is a good idea as well. No washing facilities for clothes. The location of the hotel is a little out of the way. There are few places close to the hotel where you can eat and do activies, and if you are active in the night, you're going to need a car or use a taxi to go around, as public transport is not here.
• Tri (6/5): It's not good for cold season? - Low price. It has room.for 3 with 3 separate beds. The opening- air space bathroom. It would work for summer but not for fall or winter time. Some mattresses are old. The room has odor.
• Kovac (6/5): Pleasant with nice touches but could use some love and renovation - The small onsen was a very nice touch as was the free breakfast, which had variety. It was outdated and could use some touch ups, the beds were hard, you could feel the springs.

• Giorgia (10/5): - Personale dell'albergo super gentile e disponibile ( ci hanno persino regalato due ombrelli al checkout perché pioveva abbastanza). Camera grande e spaziosa. La vasca di legno privata sul terrazzo per provare l'onsen privata divertente e molto carina. Anche la doccia in terrazza non è stata un problema ( primi di novembre) era fresco ma l'acqua era bollente. Basta essere pronti con un accappatoio e via dentro! Anche le onsen pubbliche molto carine, sono separate uomini e donne, una vasca al chiuso e una all'aperto. Con il vapore che si leva tutt'attorno è veramente suggestivo. Colazione a buffet abbondante. Super consigliato!
• hisako (8/5): 日光東照宮から近く、宿泊代もお値打ちでした。 - 洋風でとても素敵なHotelでした。 スタッフの方の対応も親切で良かった。 夕食も施設内にいろいろ選べる食事があって良かった。 隣の人の話し声が、ずーっと聞こえていた。 ご婦人方の声が大きかったのか？？😅 朝食はバイキングですが、割りにシンプルです。
• Fujiki (4/5): 下調べを良くしたつもりだったけど、この料金に近い金額でもっと良いホテルはあると思った。 - 客室にあるお風呂がよかった ベッドのマットレスが硬い。客室のドアを開けたら中が丸見え。外にある浴場の女子更衣室開けたら丸見え。せめて暖簾があれば。そして誰がきてもおかしくない感じで怖い。客室の鏡にライトが無く、暗くてメイクしづらい。モーニングビュッフェが数少なくがっかり、野菜は キャベツミックスのみ。フードコートも結局食べたいものがなく外へ出た。

• BertoLDPM (4/5): Very run down on the hill - The stuff os very helpful and the tub in the balcony is a real treat (well, a treat you pay for). It is located in a quiet area up the hill about 20 minutes walk from Nikkō. The hotel has a shuttle during certain times of the day. It is really run down and the carpet in the room was filthy (tried to dry some water l spilled and the tissue came out dark with dirt). The bed was partially tore down, like asecond hand one. It was very hard too. You can hear the neighbors snoring and the room is not cleaned everyday. Same breakfast everyday. With all this, you certainly have the thought that your home is better than the hotel (cleaner, mote comfy...) whichsadly is a thought you should have in a hotel.

• しゅうさ (5/5): 次は泊まらない - お部屋は広くて居住性は良かった 朝食はカレーを除けば美味しかった 源泉掛け流しの部屋付き露天風呂なのですが、源泉は41℃と低く、おいたしのお湯は10分程しないと水しか出ない！ タオルを掛ける所がない 朝食のカレーはレトルトの様で不味い 大浴場は遠くて帰りには風邪をひいてしまいそうで行かなかった

• XIALIAN (9/5): 比较幽静 - 关于语言障碍，前台小姐姐有非常努力的沟通，还告诉我们第二天刚好有个当地的民俗活动。关于付费晚餐，我们吃了当地雾降高原的牛西冷。免费的巴士接送于日光站。日光站前的经典酒店可以免费提供行李寄放，以及预约免费巴士。 房间里的Wi-Fi信号不好。餐室门口很漂亮的花，网络搜索说是木本曼陀罗，如果是这种花的话，是有毒的吧？建议隔离一下。餐室里面一排餐饮窗口，有酸奶，拉面，咖喱，披萨。但是不是每一项每天都有。第一天吃的水果酸奶好喜欢，第二天还想吃却没有开。

Da apprezzare le dimensioni di quest'ultima, nettamente più grande di quelle finora incontrate nelle altre città. Unica pecca: i letti li ho trovati un pó troppo duri.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay, the private hot spring is the best part - I had a good stay here. The room is reasonably spacious and comfortable, if not particularly fancy. The main attraction, of course, is the private hot spring, which was fantastic. The place is a short walk from town, but after sunset it's very dark on that road. There's a shuttle from their sister hotel in town in the afternoons but it doesn't run late. Still, that shuttle and one to the train station was appreciated. The little hub of restaurants on the premises is OK - not a huge selection, but there are some tasty options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again for the private hot spring - that was fantastic like I say. Decent value for money for what you get.

• Yakiniku (7/5): Good - The room was small but had everything you need. This price is cheap even though there is a hot spring in the room. There was a shower on the terrace, but it was cold in winter. It would have been better to have a shower in the room.
• Ken (8/5): Very good - the counter staff are attentive and helpful. Walking to the hotel from the train station with luggage is quite an exercise due to the hotel at high ground. The good news is that one could actually use their sister hotel shuttle.. which is a real savior though I am not sure if you arrive in the morning (since check in is at 3pm), there is shuttle provided or not. the room wifi signal is weak and we need to use our own data plan.

• Carly (8/5): - The next door onsen was excellent as was the balcony shower and cedar tub attached to our room. The only issue was the location - too remote. But we solved this issue by using the hotel shuttle to and from the center of town. Bus service from center is fine.
• Chialin (9/5): A relaxing and comfortable stay - We felt very relaxed and comfortable at the hotel. The en suite open air onsen and the public onsen were both wonderful. Many reviews talked about the dated facilities but we however felt it gave old-timer charm. The only drawback is that the location is a bit out of the town. Having said that the newly opened cafeteria provided dinner options which suited us fine. We will stay there again.
