• Edgar (10/5): - Wir erhielten den Schlüssel in einer Taverne an der Hauptgasse 50 m von der Wohnung entfernt. Wir haben eine gute schriftliche Anleitung für alles in der Wohnung erhalten (Englisch). Man schläft in dem traditionellen Hochbett (Soufa) im Erdgeschoss. Dort ist auch ein kleines, schönes Bad. Im ersten Stock ist der schöne traditionell ausgestattete Wohnraum mit einem bequemen Sofa und im gleichen Raum die super ausgestattete Küche (Herd mit vier Kochstellen). Winziger Balkon mit Morgensonne und Blick in die Berge. -

• Eñaut (10/5): Excelente opción para pequeñas familias o parejas - Casa muy bien situada en la entrada del pueblo, con una decoración tradicional de Karpathos. Un balcón con vistas al valle muy agradable y tenía todos los servicios habidos y por haber. La dueña vino a explicarme todo en persona y fue muy simpática. Me sentí muy bien en esa casa. Tiene muy buena energía.
• Stavros (10/5): A charming and peaceful stay in the heart of Olympos. - We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is traditional and full of character, with a lovely little balcony to relax on. It’s in a great location—right on one of the main streets of Olympos, but still very peaceful in the mornings and evenings. Communication with the host was excellent throughout. Would definitely recommend! Everything was perfect.
• Max (8/5): Perfect place from which to explore Olympos - Irene’s House is exactly as it looks in the photos, positioned in a narrow street opposite a delightful little tourist shop. It is a wonderful ‘step back in time’ ,charming place and the location is right in the middle of this lovely town.

• Janet (10/5): Enjoyable comfortable stay in one of my favourite Greek villages - This was my third trip to Olympos, first time at Irene's House. I enjoyed the place very much, it was conveniently located on the main street of the village, near the many excellent restaurants, very comfortable with a lovely view out to the rooftops and surrounding mountains. No complaints!
• Chris (9/5): Short stay, and met the very friendly property owner, who provided some further recommendations for a great stay in the - The location was great, and very easy to pick up the key from the taverna right across the walkway from it. The food was even good at that same taverna. We were just staying one night and found it very convenient and well priced The traditional bed configuration was a bit odd, with all three of us (mom, dad, eighteen year old daughter) on mattresses right beside one another, but it was not a complaint.
• Ioannis (8/5): Very good - The house itself is a tranditional local house. It gives you the feeling of how locals used to live in the past. Is fully equipped with all the amenities and internet works. The location is relatively near the entrance of the village/car parking so you don't need to carry your luggage for long. Also Irene the owner is very willing to give any kind of information about the island and answer all short of questions you might have. The owner is overprotective with her property. Already from the second day of our stay, with the excuse of bringing extra toilet paper in the house, she got in the room and started commenting about the power strip we placed next to our bed so that we can charge our mobile phones during the night, or the tea light we placed on a plate and close to our bed (as those could caught fire), or the toiletry bag we hanged from a cabinet knob (excuse was that it is antique). Eventhough, we were a group of friends with the youngest being 38 years old, we felt that we were treated as youngsters who went on holidays to party in the accommodation. It made us feeling uncomfortable that we might damage something instead of feeling relaxed during our stay. Irene understood that we got a bit irritated about the incident and apologized explaining why she has those concerns and it is understandable but still incident was a bit auqward. I would suggest that smart fire distinguishing systems get installed and that Irene insures the house so that if an accident occurs, problem can be mitigated.
