- Terry (8/5): - The property is close to my friends in Centerville and I always stay there when I am in Centerville. Can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Everything was ok

- Pamela (1/5): Bad hot tub - The whole night was a total waste of money that I didn't get back. The hot tub in my room completely malfunctioned and wouldn't shut off. The jets AGGRESSIVELY sprayed water all over the entire room. After a few desperate minutes of complete panic and effort trying to do ANYTHING I could to stop this, I went downstairs screaming for help. By the end of it, the entire room was soaking wet,.... curtains, 2 TVs, the whole bed, everything I brought with me, plus there was about 2 inches of standing water on the floor. The desk guy put me up a couple rooms away, which was nice of him, but I expected to get refunded the almost $200 I spent to stay there and they have not refunded me. I work very hard all week and I just wanted to sit and relax in the hot tub and ease my body. Instead , the night took a drastic turn for the absolute WORST, and, not only did I NOT get to relax in the hot tub, I didn't even get to sleep in the suite I paid for. I am very unhappy with the entire experience. I will not go back.

- LeRoy (10/5): Most comfortable and very clean. - The location of the motel is very convenient. The bed although comfortable, very difficult to get into for short adults.

Although the room was clean and the "smoke free" room, it did have a hint of old cigarette smell. It did need either a good carpet and drapes cleaning or a replacement.

Overall the property and room needs a good cleaning, resolving minor issues and much needed updating. Note: In Centerville, IA there are few options for hotels. Staff were also friendly.

- Nancy (10/5): This was an excellent stay in a great location. - The TV and shower worked flawlessly, and the microwave and mini-frig were very handy. I was on the front side of the motel, and the road noise could be substantial.

The bed was comfortable and it was a nice room overall. Minor things that annoyed me were that our room had only one tiny garbage can and the parking was somewhat crowded though there were still available spots so it wasn’t a big deal. Again, just minor things, it was pretty nice overall though.

Building smelled old with a great lack of cleanliness; entrance door very dirty and not welcoming. Carpet had not been vacuumed for awhile. Bathroom in 255 smelled like urine. The floors need bleached. Breakfast lacked. No offering of coffee or water. Employee who checked people in, stayed in a room and had to dial “0” for service.

- Bridgette (6/5): Pleasant - The toilet would nonstop run. There were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, and curtains were dirty and not hanging well. Had the refrigerator turned up all the way, but still wasn't keeping things cool enough. You could feel the grime on the shower floor and walls as they have not been scrubbed well in quite a while. The room looked clean until you looked around more .

After our first night, they swapped out the towels but did nothing else, I.e., replenish cups, trash, make bed, etc. After the second night, nothing was done, not even fresh towels. It appeared the room had been untouched. And it was not a busy time for the motel.

- Angie (1/5): Didn't sleep due to the bed. We tossed and turned all night and were sore in the morning. - The bedding was nice, the room was clean. The staff was kind. The bed was terrible, it very difficult to sleep. The heater rotated annoying noise all night. It was rough.

Not everybody eats biscuits and gravy Maybe hard boiled eggs, and cheese sticks, possibly another fresh fruit? Otherwise no complaints at all!!

Staff didn’t accommodate our initial request but did when I insisted that I made it known about a health condition upon arrival. Overall I would not stay here again. Overpriced for what you get.

Instead it was renovated! WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED!!! EXCELLENT RENOVATION!! Thisnis very small, but, the floor lamp wasn't plugged in and couldn't be because the head board was on top of the outlet😄maybe have hard boiled eggs, string cheese, maybe another fruit added to continental breakfast? Otherwise 4stars🙂
