Room was exactly what we needed for our ongoing travels to Spain. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room but for the price per night we could cope with that!! Chambre bien conçue avec WC séparé.Toutefois, la douche et le lavabo sont directement dans la chambre. Ce qui peut poser problème si les deux occupants ne sont pas intimes. Enfin réception ouverte 24/24. Excellent rapport qualité prix Je recommande.

- Christopher (6/5): Functional stop over. Don’t stay more than 1 night - It’s a pretty basic hotel. Small rooms but adequate for a one night stop over on the way to somewhere else. Check out is mid-day yet the cleaning crew will start to knock on your door every hour from 9am to encourage you to leave sooner.

Hôtel de deux étoiles propre mais ça sentait la cigarette dans le corridor à notre arrivée. Bien placé pour reprendre la route et dispose d'un parking d'accès facile. Personnel sympathique et serviable. Idéal pour un court séjour avec un petit budget. Petit déjeuner frugal et sans buffet covid oblige.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking, and a reasonable breakfast. Location isn't the best if you're planning to visit Charlon-en-Champagne itself, as you need to drive to get to the centre of town. There are a few ok restaurants within the area, but the hotel is in an commerial area with large stores and hypermarkets. But ideal if you need somewhere to stay while en route further into France.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Eigenlijk was alles goed voor een nachtje slapen op doorreis. Lekker uitgerust. Alleen het ontbijt was zeer teleurstellend, er was eigenlijk niets vers. Zelfs de roereieren kwamen uit een pakje. De croissent waar Frankrijk toch om bekend staat was zacht en vochtig, geen genoegen.

- Daniel (10/5): Good stopping place for journeys. - The location is easy to fine and the area is more retail park with nothing to do except a small potato restaurant opposite. The staff were all friendly and helpful. No faults there. We stayed for two nights, but this is a hotel where most people are in transit somewhere staying just for the night. The room is fine for them, but a little small. Not a complaint but for two adults and dogs its a squeeze. Breakfast was good and the car park secure. No complaints.

The hotel is a few kilometres from the centre of the city and is unpretentious, inexpensive and clean. Our room and its facilities were a little cramped, but comfortable enough for a short stay. Parking and free wi-fi. Good value all round.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Value - Located about 3km out of town. This was handy as we had a vehicle, so parking no problem, and free. Room was comfortable, tho a bit tight for two people's luggage. We were initially given a twin-bed smoking room (nothing else available) tho we didn't ask for smoking. The cigarette smoke smell was intolerable for a non-smoker (I guess we from Australia are used to most public places being non-smoking) but an approach to another staff member got us a double bed non-smoking room which was fine. Unusual shower and basin was part of the bedroom (not a separate room), but had a separate toilet. Breakfast good value. Room good value. No discount apparent from booking with Hotels.com; the sign on the outside of the hotel showing room prices was exactly what we got from Hotels.com
- Simon (10/5): You get what you pay for.... - This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The staff were very helpful, the room clean and comfortable with aircon. The bed firm. The window opened fully to let in fresh air. There are smoking and mon smoking rooms so the corridors dos have a smell of tobacco. Breakfast was simple and cheap, good coffee. There was ample free parking.
- Wayne (6/5): Clean & tidy - 1 nights stay with a group of friends travelling home from Germany. Very clean & tidy. Only vending machines in the lobby but various restaurants nearby. Rooms are snug for 2 people, clean & comfy. Nice shower, tiny toilets you have to back in to! Free wifi was intermittent. Breakfast was limited choice as there is no kitchen- toast, cereals, croissants etc.
