There was an area on the mattress cover that appeared something dark redish brown had been spilled down the side of the mattress and that the cover had not been laundered.

• Susan (9/5): Great location! Management is not friendly. - The location is near the lake which is really nice. The room was comfortable. I took my two small dogs for a walk and the lady manager approached me in front of my hotel room telling me that I needed to pay for my dogs to be there. It was early in the morning and I wasn't really awake yet. I told her I would let my husband know and she told me " go to hell"! How did she know whether or not we paid for pets to be there. Is she going by rooms when people are coming in from their cars or just walking around to harrass them?! Her partner/husband was in the lobby/desk when my husband explained what had happened. Unbelievable.

The AC units are under powered. They can’t keep up. They should move the furniture once in a while and clean underneath. I had to move the bed and found a graveyard . Kinda unsettling.

• Alberto (1/5): Bad - heater and ac sounds like air plane. notified staff twice nothing. poor communication never ANSWERED after hour line. was notified by staff mgmt would have to have someone look at the unit before allowing another room transfer. no one called or came by office. wouldn’t staff there again keep driving.

• Shawnie (4/5): Great stay except being called a liar and being told that we were annoying them by asking for proper customer service - The location was perfect. It was right near where we needed to be. The first day we were here we didn’t have towels when my husband called to ask for Sam. She basically called him a liar and said that he had towels in his room. What did he do with them? The second day we were here we go to get ice at 11:25 pm and are told that we are rude because we interrupted them and they had to come down and lock the door. I understand the door being locked for security reasons, but being told that I am rude when I pay $100 a night to stay here is uncalled for.

• Brandi (2/5): Unacceptable - Rooms smelled of smoke, huge cob webs above bed, online it says they allow dogs as well as sign on counter but we were told our dogs were too big. (They are medium dogs). When asked to get refund they allowed us to stay with dogs. I don’t ever do this but had to switch rooms because toilet and lights didn’t work and huge cob webs hanging above bed. The whole room was filthy but we were charged an extra fee to sanitize after we leave bc of our dogs that stayed in kennels. Location by the lake was the only plus.

• Darlene (8/5): Dog Friendly Lake Front Motel - Nice, older motel right on Lake. About 5 minutes drive into town. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and they allowed pets. They owners did a lot of remodeling in the lobby area and new paint and sign on the outside. It looks like there was a restaurant at one time that faced the lake and was in disrepair. They didn't put a lot of effort into updating the rooms.

• Trudy (8/5): No problems whatsoever - perfect place to stay! - Not much thought for the breakfast. My friend grabbed us both a banana and cup of coffee. The room was comfortable and clean, but the a/c unit made a loud clacking noise all night. Luckily I had ear plugs.

• Tracy (3/5): Not family friendly. - I am not sure there is anything about this property that we liked. Staff was rude. Our room was gross. The shower/tub was molded and caulking half gone. The smell in the room was like mildew and smoke combined.

• Karen (3/5): Poor - The room reeked of cigarette smoke; there was what looked like mold on the shower grout; no toilet paper; and 2 of the dirtiest, most stained chairs I have ever seen. Wouldn't put anything on them or consider sitting on them. I heard other parts of the hotel had been refreshed so maybe we just got the room that was long overdue for the same thing.

I didn’t have anything particular that I didn’t like. The property is just older. considering this, it was in really good condition.
• Maegan (9/5): Superb - Room is clean, great beautiful view of the lake. When we had a problem with out first room, the staff immediately fixes the issue, and moved myself to another room. Nothing, everything was great.
