• Bereket (2/5): - It’s the worst place to stay. Even I will not call it hotel. Staff don’t speak English at all. Noisy environment from The night club next to the hotel. Stay away.

I booked a room online and they gave me an entirely different room, it was dirty and everything broken , no TV and no fridge is working , the sink is broken and the shower door doesn’t shut. All that was ok but then in the middle of the night someone knocked on my door asked to get inside and he likes me I threatened to call the police then he left. I immediately left the place as it is very unsafe and very bad

I came home from work at 2 in the morning and I had to go to bed without bathing ... without turning on the light so as not to disturb the other customers .... very bad .... I did not go after 2 days ... I gave them the other 4 nights .... the The room was next to the receptionist and at 7 in the morning he had the radio or TV on at full volume .... 😡
• Verified traveler (2/5): - I stayed here for 5 days and I can tell you this is NOT A FAMILY hotel. The room is super tiny. The pictures I've seen online didn't show how small the place actually was. There was no room for our luggage. The blankets had a large yellow stain on it. We ran out of clean towels and toilet paper after only 2 days and our tiny garbage filled up so fast and I was wondering when they would clean the room. This place DOES NOT HAVE ROOM SERVICE. I would not reccomend this place or ever come back. The street has so many night clubs that blast music until 4 am. I was woken up at 3 am when I heard our neighbor prostitute bargaining her prices with men yelling in the street. My wife was mortified. You can hear people walking up the tiny staircase with their luggage at night when you are trying to sleep. The receptionist who checked us in only spoke Russian and Turkish and got frustrated with us because of the language barrier. The staff is pretty much non existent. Half the time there is no one working to ask questions or to help you book taxis or tours. Absolutely not the service I expected. And when reading the responses of the owner to the negative comments online I was shocked. There is absolutely no remorse or regret to his customers for his shortcomings. He responds in an insulting manner and calls people liars for leaving negative reviews. He has no care for great customer service. AVOID BABU HOUSE and take your money elsewhere.
• Hasan Yasin (8/5): Genell itibariyle iyi. ve rahat. - It is so close to İstiklal caddesi/street. So noisy but it was so comfortable and clean. İstiklal'e yakın. Aşırı gürültülü, gece 5 defa uyandım gürültüden. Kış için sıcak, ferah, rahat. Oda bayağı iyi ama yalıtımlı cam olmadığından gürültülü ve otoparka da yakın.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Das zimmer befand sich im keller hatte nichts mit einer suit zu tun. Das zimmer hat keine ähnlichkeit mit den bildern. Reinigungs kraft kommt auch nicht jeden tag. Die beschreibung mit trockner und waschmaschine in der ausstattung stimmt auch nicht. Im hauptgebäude haben die welche zur eigennutzung wir durften es nach absprache verwenden.

The restroom sink was clogged, fridge was out of order, and the ceiling was leaking. And on top of that, the management (if you could get a hold of them) did not do anything to fix any of the issues. Overall, places like Babu hotel should not be advertised on websites like Expedia.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Bei Ankunft war das Zimmer sauber. Die Einrichtung ist wirklich ausreichend und in gutem Zustand. Allerdings war die Rezeption bei Ankunft nicht besetzt. Ich musste telefonisch Kontakt aufnehmen. Das Zimmer wurde nicht von alleine jeden Tag sauber gemacht, ich musste die Damen ansprechen und darum bitten. Ich habe 5 Tage dort übernachtet und die Handtücher wurden nur einmal ausgewechselt. Nach telefonische Bitte wurden mir am letzten Tag auch nicht die Handtücher erneuert. Die Lage war zwar wirklich zentral, allerdings ist die Straße sehr sehr runtergekommen und abends laut. Aber für den Preis war es in Ordnung.

• Ela (8/5): Sessiz bir otel - Otel taksim bölgesine göre oldukça sessizdi, yatak ve çarşaflar temizdi. Ancak duşa kabin üst kısmı çıkmıştı ve hijyen değildi. Duş malzemeleri vardı. Otelin bana göre en büyük eksikliği buzdolabı yoktu ve kahvaltı imkanı sunulmamıştı(bunu otele girerken biliyorduk), genel anlamda güzeldi.
• Niko (2/5): - Toen we aankwamen leek het allemaal ok. Tot ze ons naar de kamer brachten. Bracht ons eerst terug naar buiten en dan naar de kelder verdieping. En ze zeiden ja dit is jullie kamer. Een versleten 2 persoonsbed met versleten matras. De geur van stof is zo sterk omdat er overal stof op is. Dan heb je nog 2 slaapbanken apart waar je je hond niet eens op zou laten slapen!! De badkamer was heel klein. Een oud versleten wc en een douche met roest overal. Heb foto’s getrokken als het mogelijk is om ze te plaatsen wil ik ze plaatsen. De airco draait wel maar komt geen koude lucht uit. Is waarschijnlijk al jaren niet bijgevuld. De volgende dag ga ik naar de hotel en zeg ja dit is helemaal iets anders dan op de foto’s. Ze vertellen ja expedia kiest de fotos, dat is niet ons schuld. Ik vroeg of we een andere kamer konden krijgen. Hun antwoord was nee volzet. Na 2 dagen zijn we naar een andere hotel gegaan in de buurt. Terwijl we babu hotel voor 7 dagen hebben betaald. We hadddn nog paar lokkum gekocht van de winkels daar en die waren afgesloten en vacuüm getrokken. Deze hadden we nog in de koelkast gelaten in babu hotel. Laatste dag toen we onze spullen waren gaan halen, er was ene open gemaakt!! En het is een marginale buurt van taksim met heel veel travestieten. Tot 8u ochtend hoor je het muziek. Is allemaal heel dicht bij. Het was een goedkoop hotel en we hadden geen luxe verwacht. Maar de kamer die we hebben gekregen, daar zou ik zelf een hond niet laten slapen.Voor ons NOOIT MEER

La nouvel chambre etait mieux mais le coffre fort ne fonctionait pas les lampadaires non plus. Le climatseure fesait un bruit affreux la fenėttre ne se fermait pas, et le vacarme de l'extėrieure. • Verified traveler (4/5): Nicht empfehlenswert ! - Check in war die reinste Katastrophe. Trotz das ich eine Woche vorher unsere genaue Ankunft angekündigt habe standen wir ratlos zwei Stunden vor dem Hotel. Wer bei diesem Hotel die türkische Sprache nicht kann ist aufgeschmissen. Besitzer der Läden nebenan teilten auf unsere Nachfrage wie wir denn die Besitzer Auffinden können mit das dies ein typisches Problem sei das man vor geschlossenen Türen steht. Nach zwei Stunden Informationen in der Umgebung sammeln schafften wir es das zweite Hotel des Besitzers ausfindig zu machen und machten uns auf den Weg dorthin. Dort ging man garnicht auf die Tatsache ein das man zwei Stunden trotz Ankündigung gewartet hat. Zum Hotel muss man sagen es hat für den Preis seine Pflicht erfüllt. Die Doppelbett Zimmer sind sehr klein das es sehr eng wird schon mit zwei Personen sich darin zu bewegen aber man hält sich ja eh nicht drin auf.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Kleines Hotel in Mitten des Istanbulers Nightlife - Die Gegend ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, würde nicht mit kleinen Kindern dort wohnen. Allerdings stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhälnis. Unser Zimmer war sauber, Frühstück war gut. Nachts wie erwähnt recht laut!

Sokak güvenli değil, her yer hayat kadını ve tekinsiz. iki kişilik oda istememize rağmen bizi resepsiyonda çalışan kişiyle aynı yerde farklı bir otelde kalmaya zorladılar. paramız boşa gitti. güvenmediğimiz biri ile aynı odayı paylaşamazdık. üstelik telefonda teyit aldığımız halde bunlar başımıza geldi. Paranızı kaptırsanız bile canınız kıymetlidir, sakın ne olduğu belli olmayan bu yere gitmeyin. Dolandırıcılıktan başka bir şekilde açıklanamaz olanlar. Rezervasyon sitesinin de buna ön ayak olması ayrıca ilginç bir durum. Fotoğrafla bize konaklama için gösterilen yerin uzaktan yakından ilgisi yok. 117 lira paraya yazık olması mesele değil can güvenliği yok her şeyden önce. Burada yazılan olumlu yorumlara da sakın aldanmayın, bizim için de aldatıcı oldu. Büyük olasılıkla kendileri rez yapıp yorum ekliyorlar. Summary for foreign tourists: not safe, fakeplace, dishonest, dirty, fraud. if you have only one life, choose another place for your safety

• Houcine (10/5): Unforgettable stay - My GF and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights! The location is perfect: safe and walking distance from many attractions(Istiklal avenue, Taksim Square, Galata Tower...) and live music bars and pubs! The room was small but clean ,confortable and quiet! Special thanks to Ozan at the front desk who was extremely friendly and gave us very useful tips and recommendations! You will definitely see us again soon
