- Neal (10/5): Not a bad choice. - A good choice. Clean and central to the small center of Clifton. AC, swimming pool, generous sized room with king bed. Sink, kettle, Amazon TV withe Netflix. 10 Minute walk to kite beach. Balcony with sea view and cool breeze. All for less than 100usd a night. You can get cheaper if you take the garden blockbwithout seaview.

- Katharine (9/5): Comfortable and pleasant - Pleasant staff and nice, airy room with sea view The hotel didn't actually have my reservation but they had room and honoured the rate. Some facilities were a little dated, e.g. the chairs on the patio were rusting away.

- Greg (4/5): Fawlty Towers - Walking distance from the airport, port and village, restaurants, etc. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Reservation got messed up. Had booked two rooms. Only one was actually available. Out of pure luck there was a very simple room available as a replacement, without A/C or sea view. Another friend had a separate reservation that was also messed up, in terms of room type. Reservations system is a notepad. Next, shower had no hot water. Was told that they were waiting for an electrician to fix it. So they knew about the issue already, but there was no warning. Payment: credit card reader broken, had to pay cash. Finally, a first for me in all of my travels: Got a knock on the door at 9am, asking me to check out early, because other guests were going to arrive early. Just not cool. (To be fair, my friend was allowed late checkout in his inferior room, so my understanding is that this was why they felt ok to ask me to leave early. Still not cool). There was supposed to be a manager somewhere, to address the reservation mixup, but we never saw her.

I was absolutely disgusted and disappointed with what I was given as a hotel room It’s not a hotel it’s a below average Hostel Its nothing at all like the photos on the website If only I can add photos of the room in the Hostel I would because I’ve taken a video and I’ve taken photos I truly feel very sorry for the receptionist who doesn’t even have a computer/laptop to know how much to charge

- Stacy (5/5): Needs upgrading - Staff was lovely ,well her name was Josephine she was the best ,she would go out of her way to help you in any way possible Rooms need upgrading, still back in the 80s,no TV in room, no kettle to at least make a cup of coffee in the morning .and to have WiFi you have to sit on your balcony to get any service ,when it rains the water was coming through the roof and into the room,and there no kitchen in the hotel you have to go outside to eat

Looked like only option , but others around could not see from internet. No food avalible in town sunday night or served by hotel. No tea, coffee, milk in room just kettle sink fridge. Seemed like I was only guest?

- Celest (8/5): Convenient and clean - Spent 2 nights in the off season. Clean and comfortable. The room was filled with mosquitoes but they provided spray, and the sewer smell was quite overwhelming one morning. Staff were very friendly. Close to everything.
- JV (8/5): - Check-in at the Kings Landing Hotel was a smooth process. The staff was kind and very helpful. Our room was basic, but it had hot water, air conditioning, a fridge, housecoats, and a double bed. The pool was clean, the water warm, and we were able to purchase our first Hairoun beer. The hotel is conveniently located in central Clifton, and is a short walk to the ferry. We would stay here again.
- Brian (8/5): Great Place to stay - Staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Any request was looked after immediately. The room was clean, spacious, and quite comfortable although a little worn. They were doing renovations during our stay. Nice balconies on all the rooms. Wifi worked well in the room and by the pool. The pool area was very clean and overlooked the ocean. The location was close to many good restaurants, grocery stores,and a bakery. This hotel is definitely where we would stay on our return to Union Island.
