Guest Reviews
- Jean (6/5): OK at best - The room was suitable, but one bed was broken, had squeaky springs and a loose headboard. While pet friendly, the fees were rather high, charging me $50 for my 2 dogs for one night. The area is a bit remote, and walking dogs after dark, we encountered a girl who had been beaten and needed help. The facilities were adequate but not worth the price. I have had better for less. I had planned on stopping on the way home but didn't want to stay there again.
- don (8/5): - front desk staff very personable and helpful. property older facility. issue with bathroom, accommodated by changing room
- Don (8/5): - There were a couple of incidents where the police were called but it didn’t affect us, just family disputes I think
- Paul (2/5): - Old motel; not renovated. Smells like cigarette smoke. (the sign out front even says "smoking rooms available".
- Jarrod (2/5): - many interesting characters come from the motel next door.
i thought was weird when i checked in the man said the doors are locked at 11-530 no one in or out.
makes sence after i witnessed rhe drug traffic next door.
zombies everwhere
- Blaine (8/5): Comfortable - For two starts pretty good nothing fancy fairly clean the sheets look a little stain, but I think they’re clean just stained. Dad’s are fairly comfortable. Air conditioning was great.
- Anne (8/5): - Our window overlooked the river valley, very quiet & very easy to access.
The breakfast was very good for being included in price & right here so didn’t have to go & look for a restaurant!
- Murray (6/5): - Not enough parking stalls
- Tiffany (10/5): - The staff were friendly and accommodating. They ensured our comfort from check in until checkout.
- Danielle (4/5): Great Staff But… - While I understand it’s a budget hotel, I still expect things to be clean. The toilet was dirty, furniture was dirty, bathroom had mold and hair all over as did some of the sheets, and there was graffiti on the walls. I will stay the staff were excellent and I did not have the breakfast, but based on the cleanliness of the room I will not be back.
- Shiju (10/5): - Overall good
- aurora (10/5): - it’s awesome!
- Gail (2/5): - The front desk person had to give us 3 different rooms because of plumbing problems in the first 2. The bathroom receptacle didn't work and the bathroom door knob was broken. The outside of the building was very run down. Would not recommend this hotel at all.
- Lorraine (8/5): - Staff are very pleasant and facility is clean and location is quiet
- Patrick (6/5): - Very average
- Gerald (10/5): - Staff is very friendly
- Barton (2/5): - Language difficulties and no Expedia experience made the check-in painful.
There is a $500 posted damage deposit, I paid $200.
It’s a bit rough around the edges but you get what you pay for. The pet fee is $25 per night.
Expedia description noted there is a guest laundry, when I asked about it after the interminable check in the front desk told me there is no guest laundry which is maddening given I chose this place for that reason to save cab fares to and from a laundromat. Thanks Expedia! Not!!!
There is ample semi truck parking in a vacant lot next to the hotel, which is the second reason I chose it.
The pluses are the interior spaces are clean and tidy, beds are comfortable,
We’ll see how the next 3 nights go.
- Gerald (8/5): - Unfortunately the choice of tv channels was very limited. There is no sports channel to watch Oilers hockey.
Also, no face cloth to wash up or to take a shower.
- Judy (10/5): - Air conditioning made for a fine sleep. Accessible, easy to find. Presents well as in the description.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Such a wonderful place to stay friendly kind staff. So clean and safe for a family of five. DEFINITELY stay there again
- Wilmer (8/5): - Clean

- Angel R (10/5): - Was very friendly and helpful service
- Michelle (6/5): All was good except bathroom. - Staff very friendly. Room was decent but the bath tub was very dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. Very quiet location which was nice.

- Cody (10/5): - Very cheap, very clean, friendly staff
- Lynda (10/5): - we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the valley and Battleford. The breakfast was really good too. It was only for one night but will certainly be back the next time we are in the Battlefords.
- Kevin (4/5): - No blankets on beds , bedspread that was stained , dirty.
Person next room was loud
- Kevin (2/5): - They have bed bugs and hotel is in need of serious repairs
- Clara (10/5): - Room were very clean ,bed were comfy..affordable.
- Clara (8/5): - Rooms were very clean....place was quiet.
- Wes (10/5): - Loved this place.
- Jack (2/5): If you have no where else to go , then stay here. - Checked in front desk agent was not helpful in answering questions I had about room location etc.
- John (10/5): - Staff were very friendly and helpful!
- Donna (6/5): - Although the room was decent, not a place that we would stay at again. Was worried about the car as there were undesirables that slept in the parking area. Breakfast was very continental and not a lot available.
- BRIAN (8/5): - just a stop along the way for a over night
but it was good
and staff were very friendly
- Lawrence (8/5): - It was a good property
- David (8/5): - bed was soft and clean and the shower was hot with good water preassure
- Karl-Heinz (8/5): - Everything was ok
- Beverly (6/5): - I would not stay here again. Breakfast had no coffee and they were out of bread for toast.
TV had very limited channels. No option to connect to streaming tv.
While showering, bathtub was very slow to drain. Took about 1/2 hour to empty. Hair not belonging to us, was in and around the edge of the tub.
Screen on window was ripped.
Staff were very nice.
- Peggy (8/5): - Ok place for a night. A little old but ok. Price was right.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The beds were very comfortable. The room was large.
My husband is not able to walk stairs because of his back. The elevator gave us access to a room with a nice view.
- Lawrence (8/5): - Good clean property
- trudy (8/5): - Very affordable, comfortable room, included breakfast was excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Economical place to stay for the night. - Friendly staff. Good value. Not a fancy place but clean & comfortable. Breakfast included.
- Evan (2/5): Room for improvement. - I didnt stay the night, due to finding bedbugs. Hotel was quick with refund and said they would deal with it. Receptionist was helpful. Rooms need some love, but its not a super costly place. Just needed a spot to spend a night along the road.
- Calvin (10/5): - Safe, quiet, cozy, friendly and courteous staff. Enjoyed it. Good price too
- Glen (6/5): - Bed was comfy, room was clean,,ish, only problem was alot of rooms were filled with vagrants(homeless, jobless) living there, lots of banging around late at night when it should quiet, prob wont stay again.
- Lorraine (10/5): - Money well spent, toom was clean, wuiet. Excellent breakfast
- Lea-Anne (6/5): - When I checked in, I asked if late check-out was available as I have insomnia & it has been very active lately due to the recent & sudden loss of my Mother. Her funeral was this past Thurs. I was advised that it was. There was no mention of, "needing manager if fully booked". About 4-5a.m I started to get sleepy so I sent my son to front desk to request it because the RM ph was missing a cord & our cell ph's were completely dead & charging. He was told to check at 7a.m when the manager was here????
I myself checked at 7a.m & was also told the hotel is fully booked & I have to wait for the manager to arrive at 7a.m. & ask for late check-out . He asked my room which I gave. It is now 7:45 & I have not heard from the manager. At least I can ph & ask for it now I guess. However, the check-in clerk was fabulous & no complaints about the night clerk. But I feel if a service is provided, it should be done so w/o conditions. We were happy with the cleanliness. The parking lot is cramped & the handicap parking is difficult to access. Thrs no place for smokers to butt cigs, as a result smokers are butting out in the planters. Inside is decorated with recent & future holidays but nothing outside. Repairs could be more professional(drywall is breaking off the window frame. Thrs lots of room for improvement in all areas. It is now 8:04 & I still have not heard from the manager smh.
- Alex (8/5): - Good hotel for a short visit. We were there from Calgary for a wedding that started at 4 pm, but check-in is also at 4 pm. The young guys at the front desk helped us talking to the manager to let us into our rooms ahead of time to get ready. That was awesome! Thank you!!! They were super friendly and helpful!
The place could use some update but overall it was a good stay.
- Nathaniel (10/5): - Good value for the money.
- Sunsan (10/5): - Quiet, staff very helpful
- Zulfi (10/5): - It was a good stay. The hotel was better than expected for the ratings. The frontdesk Philippine staff was very courteous and efficient.
Would stay again.

- Dean (10/5): - Very helpful
- Donna (8/5): - Great staff always very nice and helpful. Room was good. Clean and it was quiet :). We will be back! Oh and the breakfast good also!
- Dale (10/5): - Great staff and breakfast is awesome
- Yuvraj (2/5): - The creppiest hotel. Smelly rooms, dirty towels, overall a terrible place to live in.
- Dale (10/5): - Cleanliness and friendly staff
- Joe (6/5): - Kinda hard to get around the parking lot ,
- Dale (8/5): - Clean and friendly staff
- Tamara (2/5): - Broken lock, mold in the room,
- Sharon (2/5): Dirty dusty room, no face cloths - Dirty dusty room, couldn’t breathe or sleep.
I am asthmatic.
- Anita (8/5): - Staff were very friendly!
- Wendy (4/5): - It's a place to stay but I won't do it again. I stayed there due to recommendations. I asked for towels as there was only one and they seemed bothered to get me 4 so they gave me 2.
- Randall (2/5): - I rate it at a 1 people stay away and call health board on this hotel. Expedia not rent rooms again for this hotel!!!!
- Muhyd (6/5): - The breakfast was so simple
- Paul (8/5): - Super amazing staff. Exceptionally clean room, super comfortable beds. Way better than previous stays
- Douglas (10/5): - Easy friendly check=in. Bedside lamps not working.
- Norm (6/5): - Room was clean and everything was there I expected for a quick overnight stay. Room could use a refurbish may have been a smoking room at some point. Front desk people seemed confused and it took some time to check in and out.
- Kerri (10/5): - Super nice people! A very good place to stay for working on the road! Would definitely be back.
- MIKE (10/5): - VERY NICE AND CLEAN, GREAT BUFFET, PLEASANT CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
- Martha (10/5): Great - Check-in was quick and easy. Rooms are as clean as hotels usually are. I struggle with the dirty walls I can see, thinking the floors, (that are harder to see being darker) are in same or worse shape.
- Kelvin (4/5): - Towel had a red stain on it.
Vanity had dried toothpaste on it.
Sheets had stains on them .
Empty bottles in the closet
Breakfast terriable
Never go back
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like the value for the money. It has good amenities for t he price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room phone didnt work at all. Aside that great staff.

- Peter (10/5): Great establishment - The hospitality was awesome. The food was Awesome all homemade supper and breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone and I will stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Complimentary breakfast and supper everyday that was above and beyond your typical hotels continental meals. Very friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Showed up on dec 4th at night, temperatures below freezing, and I get to my room and the AC was on full blast... had to go to bed fully clothed, hoodie and all till the room warmed up. Still the fan speed was either super high or off. Blowing the curtains 3’ from the window... other then that the room was ok. Nothing to write home about.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 2 meals included with price! Could have had more friendly reception from the male at the desk when we arrived, but the female on the phone I talked with prior to arrival was very friendly and welcoming. Nice rooms and good size for a family. Would stay again!
- James (6/5): Good hotel for the money. - This was a good hotel for the money. The room was laid out a little strange with the ironing board hanging inside the front door instead of in the closet, the towels were nowhere near the tub/shower and hooks in the bathroom mounted about 3 ft off the ground. Give the in-room coffee a miss, It was undrinkable. The vending machines were also all empty for some reason. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rooms were ok but there was a strong smell of cigarettes right next to smoking rooms and must have been lot of workers there mud in hallways
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Dinner included, very helpful staff, speedy wifi.Dinner included, very helpful staff, speedy wifi.Dinner included, very helpful staff, speedy wifi.
- eja (10/5): - Good breakfast, easy highway access, prompt check-in
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The tv remote didn’t work otherwise everything good
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was on a long road trip on my way to northern Alberta and stopped just to sleep, it was not my first choice but since I was traveling with a dog I didn’t have many options so I gave it a try. I arrived in around 11:00 pm the guy at the front desk wanted to charge me again even though the room had been prepaid (I’ll take that as an honest mistake). Once in the room I open the small refrigerator and there was food leftovers I guess from a previous guest, the bed was nicely made but when I pulled the sheets there were hairs all over it (so gross). I was so tired that I just throw a towel on top of the mattress and slept with my clothes on. Wake up at 6:00 am and took off. Not the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in for sure.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Check in was easy, room was clean, they need to replace or add another blackout panel in the window. They have a free dinner, choices were limited, but plentiful and tasty. Their continental breakfast turned out to be a full service breakfast, scrambled eggs, potatoes, ham, juice, waffles, etc., it was excellent. The property is kept up. We would stay their again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Breakfasts are great, although suppers could vary more
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Convenient location. Spacious rooms. Bathroom was not clean in our room. Pop cans empty were not removed from the last guest.
