Guest Reviews
- Caleb (9/5): -
- Donna (8/5): - This is about my fifth stay over the past 2 years for work or passing through on vacation. It's a little apartment, full size kitchen and complete washer and dryer. Great parking, good location. Nice and easy check in. Comfy. Normally I have my dog which they allow but this time I did not. Am a single woman traveling.
- Caleb (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Donna (9/5): - Really like that these are tiny apartments. A den, a complete full kitchen, washer and dryer which is an extra, nice size bathroom and a separate bedroom. I can drive right up to my door and they do take dogs. This was my fourth time to stay on business. I really like it and the price is wonderful.
- Steup (8/5): This was a good stopover on our roadtrip - The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated having a kitchen. We were traveling with two dogs. The surrounding grass areas were full of sharp stickers so the dogs had trouble relieving themselves. It would be nice if at least a small area of grass was maintained and kept sticker free.
- Lucienne (9/5): Convenient and clean motel with a full kitchen. Friendly and responsive Staff. - Convenient to freeway There were stickers all over the grass so difficult to walk the dogs
- Edwin (10/5): - clean room comfy bed A/C very good full size fridge and can cook your own meals.
- Merry (10/5): Exceptional - It's a very clean, very nice little apartment. Great location great prices. Loved it.
- Donna (10/5): Excellent - Wow, very homey, did not know it would have a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a full size stove and oven, a large microwave, dishes and silverware, pots and pans, washer and dryer and a separate bedroom. All very clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Very clean parking lot and barbecue areas. Just make sure if you're a westbound and exiting for highway 350 off of interstate 20, you have to go down and turn around and double back eastbound on the two-lane feeder Road as the hotel is just before the exit hits the feeder. Otherwise actually it's a great location, not in a crowded area with other hotels or convenience stores. And they did not charge me extra for my dog.
- 32donnae (10/5): Exceeded expectations! - I had no clue that this place had a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and a separate bedroom. The whole arrangement was absolutely wonderful and they did not charge extra for my one dog. Nice parking lot, not a lot of heavy traffic. Wonderful check-in staff. When exiting off I-20 you do have to maybe go down and turn around if you are westbound, but the feeder is two-way to be able to get back to the hotel. I would completely recommend the place. Particularly as a solo woman, the room had so many amenities. A full size refrigerator, yay. A full size stove oven and a full large size microwave, yay. Separate den area, again exceeded in my expectations and I do travel quite a lot.
- Andrew (10/5): I wish I was coming through here again soon. - It’s the nicest motel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is A#1, very friendly and provides the best customer service I’ve seen in about 40 years. I recommend it to anyone spending a night in this area. N/A
- Gail (8/5): Very good - Location was good, right off the hwy. Amineties were excellent with the full kitchen, washer dryer. There was towel and washcloth left hanging in the bathroom from previous tenant. Carpet in bedroom needs to be replaced.
- Christopher (10/5): - Great stay. Clean place! Comfortable bed!!
- X8437UVcharlesk (8/5): Good times - Room was nice bed a little hard everything else in the room was good. Checking was easy and check out as well. Would consider staying here again and recommending it to a traveler.
Thanknyou for yor service.
Easy access off highway. Very clean
- Gabriel (5/5): Passable -
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The suite was clean and well maintained. It had a nice work area and good wifi. I would stay again.
- Samantha (9/5): Superb - We all ways stay in hotels.. are stay was 3 days..we enjoyed the space and being able to buy groceries with space to put them.. washer ND dryer a plus... Not much to say... I guess I could have enjoyed a tub.. & I didn't find the broom till our last night 😢🤦♀️ mayb some light cleaning su p plies would be nice ... also BBQ utensils... over all nothing I could complain about we enjoyed our stay.. will definitely be our go to stay when returning to big spring..
- Inarie (10/5): Very peaceful & comforting stay I will for sure be back soon - I love how clean everything was literally from the inside the room to outside was clean it was just a very comfortable scenery! There was nothing to not like about this property even the staff was amazing !
- Stan (4/5): - We didn't realize it was an extended stay place for various tenants. At first look it was a cozy suite complete with bedroom, living room, kitchen, and all, but the furniture was uncomfortable and the place was noisy. They left a broom in the room because "it gets dusty here all the time." Getting to the place was awkward and there was nothing nearby for eating. We won't stop there again.
- marksE3227BT (6/5): Keep your eyes wide open, but don't look too closely - This property has some nice advantages, and some glaring disadvantages. If you stay here, you need to know exactly what you are getting into.
First the good:
1. The rooms are huge, and laid out nicely. Our unit had a full kitchen and separate living area and bedroom. It was just my wife and I, but if we were with kids, this would have been really appreciated.
2. Location is convenient, just off the interstate, but not noisy.
3. What little interaction we had with staff was helpful and courteous.
4. Sheets were clean and the mattress, though obviously old, was adequately comfortable.
Now the bad:
1. Our room was marginally neat and did NOT smell, but it was also not clean. There were signs everywhere that cleaning had not been thorough - Dust in the corners, on the furniture and counters. Hair in the shower. Visible signs that the bedroom carpet had not been vacuumed (lots of stains and even toenails!).
2. This property appeared to cater to workers in the area's oil drilling industry, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just be prepared for a lot men (I did not see another female guest besides my wife), congregated outside their rooms sharing a smoke and a drink. I want to stress that everyone's behavior was great and we were never uncomfortable, but the man camp atmosphere may not be for everyone.
3. This is minor, but the lawn pictured in the image for the property is misleading. We thought this would be nice for walking our dog, but, in reality, this is a field of dirt and sticker burrs.
Overall, this was by far not the worst place I have stayed in, but if I am going through Big Spring again, I will try to find an alternative.
- Christine (8/5): - .
- Staci (6/5): I sure hope they get the TVs and everything fixed next time I’m there so I’ll have - I’ve stayed there many times although this time wasn’t able to watch the TV or do anything like that they said something was wrong with it so it was kind of a relaxing trip to say the least with nothing to do I’ve always liked the property there. I’ve stayed there several
- Maria (10/5): - Sheet had stains. Forgot to take picture.
- Lisa (8/5): Great staff, comfortable suites. - The staff was great, Sophie and Sarah were very helpful. Love the kitchen and laundry areas. Only one bath towel and no hand towels in room. The rooms could use more than one lamp.
- Anonymous (6/5): Place was comfortable and peaceful but I felt the cleanliness was not great. - I liked that it had more space and privacy It didn’t seem as clean. The bed had scuff marks on the bottom and pull out bed was full of dirt. We had nowhere else to go since it seemed front desk lady was in a rush to help us out. I had reserved a queen and two twin beds but it seems it never went through.
- Diana (10/5): Great location not to far from grocery stores - Great location
- Verified traveler (6/5): Small apartments on hill - This is not a hotel like option. It is a small apartment like place for workers. Small dark rooms with no extras.
- Donna (10/5): Fabulous value 1Bedroom Suite - Incredibly helpful manager Jimmye. More a 1 BR suite/apartment than a motel room. Full sized 2-door refrigerator/freezer, oven/range, dishwasher, washer, dryer, small appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils all included. We had a wonderful weekend! Excellent value and room to park 1or 2 tractor-trailers next to Inn.
- Diane C. (10/5): - Staff were very helpful with my late check-in time. Would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean and quiet - Roomy apartment style rooms. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff was especially friendly.
- David (8/5): - Fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. Friendly, responsive staff. Outdoor seating and grills were good.
- Joseph C (10/5): - Uniqueness and nicest parts were the order and cleanliness.
- Sandra (10/5): - Staff is always super friendly. Every time I’m in Big Springs this is where we stay. Great hotel.
- Ron (10/5): Ron, up from San Antionio. - This place is for a person working a job in the Permian Basin. Directly on I-20 frontage. Front living room faces highway, then kitchen, then bath, then bedroom. I did not hear the higway. Washer and dryer in closet. If you want the Hyatt, then, pay for the Hyatt.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Affordable, has kitchen,and washer/dryer ! Can't complain.
- Wes (10/5): Awesome Place - The place has the best service and super clean the only place my employees like to stay. Also price is very resonable.
- Joseph (10/5): - The place was spotless. Excellent overall.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place to stay. It’s like a small apartment.
- Michael (10/5): Eagle Den Great! - Great room!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - very clean, well maintained. Convenient location
- John (8/5): Perfect. - Great place to stay. More like a small apartment then a hotel room. Perfect for long stays.
- Desiree (10/5): Lovd it !!! - Check in was great and so professional . Jimmye was sooo sweet and flexible with my check in situation . I loved working with her . She is the best and the room was so clean and quiet.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing
- Maria (10/5): All the Basics - This place was very nice and clean, and the office staff were friendly. It was a little worn, and the hvac fan was loud, but we were comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Better than we expected, roomy, clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice rooms, convenient location. A little noisy because it’s located next to Interstate 20 Highway
- Michael (10/5): Great place for business or personal stay. - Very clean room, comfortable bed & pillows, hot shower and well equipped kitchen. Made supper after late arrival and breakfast before going to the job. Although near the highway, it was quiet.
- Amanda (10/5): Apartment Living Away From Home - Staff was amazing and friendly. Room was more of a one bedroom apartment than a hotel, full kitchen with dishes, washer and dryer, living room. Made it nice to be able to spread out and have a little space. Grill area was nice with tables. Very clean rooms, and was pet friendly for our 2 small dogs. We will stay here again. Amazing hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The bed and pillows were awful. Everything else was above awesome.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Pretty good place to stay at Big Spring. Quiet and clean.
- KEDW58 (8/5): Just for the night - This is an extended stay hotel but we liked the outdoor access (in COVID times) & the price was right. Easy check in-we called 15 minutes ahead of arrival as instructed & someone was there to help us. The room was a small 1bedroom apt complete with washer & dryer! It was clean & very comfortable. Great AC & great cable TV. Our only issues were the lack of any real water pressure & the door wouldn’t lock from the outside when we left.
- F9611AHandrewp (4/5): Bad Shower - Big Spring is a hub for the oil field and most travelers, myself included, are here during the week for work. After a long day in the dusty environs of drill sites, all a man wants is a nice shower and a little time to decompress. Unfortunately, Eagle's Den has some kind of plumbing issue and the showers are complete garbage. I even changed rooms and the shower situation was about the same. I wish I could give this place 5-stars because the manager was so nice and the price is very reasonable for a full kitchen, but a good shower is mission critical.
- Kimberly (10/5): - Everything was really good. The only suggestion I have, is that I checked in kinda late and needed ice. They didn't have any onsite, and the refrigerator didn't have any made, so I had to get back in my car and go to the store which was a bit inconvenient. But other than that, it was very good.
- Iliasis T. (10/5): Loved it! - We enjoyed our stay this pass weekend. It had everything that we needed! One thing we wish would be changed would be the towels. They were stained, but thankfully we had brought our own. Other than that perfect location to stay at for an affordable price.
- Verified traveler (4/5): scary - The room was big enough and I liked the couch and all. The AC vent in the bedroom blows right on your head and the is no way to avoid it. I took my own coffee so I could get up early and make some. I even went out and got half and half, but when I got back to the room and looked at the coffee maker, it was
filthy. That thing had not been cleaned for months. At about 1:30 in the morning I kept hearing what sounded like screaming but really could not tell where it was coming from. It sounded like it was above me or it could have been a very loud TV, hard to tell. AT about 3:00 the was a sound outside my window that sounded like someone rolling a cart of some kind along the rocks outside. Was not very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and clean rooms!!! - The staff is really nice and welcoming, made me and my family feel right at home. I will be returning. :)
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was a one night stop on our return to Houston. Very clean and comfortable
- Jilly (10/5): - Lovely, safe and comfortable hotel....new and easy to stay here!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The beds and pillows aren't very comfortable. Overall great stay, though.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean and New - This hotel is set up more as an extended stay hotel. It has a full kitchen etc. Everything was provided like a regular hotel except coffee, cream, and sugar although a coffee maker was provided. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
- Dean (8/5): Hard to locate but nice service and roomy - This was a very nice suite very roomy, if you are in the area for an extended period of time this is a good place to stay. It is hard to find if you don't come in on a freeway so use your phone's gps to locate. Town wasn't much but for an overnight it was fine. This is oil country so most of the traffic and guests are oil and gas employees. Water is bad so you must bring in your own ice
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good customer service. Belinda was amazing.
- joann (10/5): Great place to stay! - Very nice I felt safe and secure there. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will be staying there in the future. My new home away from home.
- Verified traveler (6/5): convinient with good location - close to highway with everything on would need to overnight or stay as long as one would need to stay
- ROBERTA (10/5): - I could have lived there it was so comfortable
- Jonathan (10/5): Clean and useful kitchen and relaxing bed - Good value and comfort.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Will stay again when in town
- Perry (10/5): - Great lodging find in Big Spring. Will definitely be back!
- Paul (6/5): A good Bang for your buck - Over night stay for business. Tried it out for the first time. Great price for a suite with full kitchen and amenities. Make sure you bring your own food (coffee etc). All the appliances and dishes and cookware are there. One problem, when the room next door is cooking it circulates through the ventilation system. Front office is only open during normal business hours. Plenty of parking with location off the Interstate.
- ron (10/5): Apartment style living - This place is great. It's like a small 1 bedroom apartment. It consist of a separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area, much more appealing than just a regular hotel room. Clean, comfortable and plenty of room. The staff was impressive, from maintenance , to cleaning,to front desk personnel, extremely helpful and friendly. Will be my choice in Big Spring.
- David (10/5): - My wife and I loved the place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay - Well taken care of. The rooms are nice and comfy!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): One of the best in town - My husband and I stayed 3 nights visiting family. Nice, clean and quiet, It has everything you need. I do have to say I wish there would've been a couple little bags of detergent in the room and some dishwashing liquid soap, but i can't complain because the price is amazing, so it didn't bother us. We were still going to take a trip to the store either way.
- TracyN668 (10/5): Awesome long term - This place is the best extended stay in big springs,tx. Its not like a regular hotel on the outside or inside. It looks like an apt complex on the outside and a one bedroom on the inside complete with cleaning supplies, towels, dishes and washer and dryer along with furniture.
The gals in the office (Arlene&Moshay) are totally great and helpful. The office accepts your mail or packages so you dont have to worry about them being left outside. And if you ask them, they will put them in your room for you if your gone.
They have maids that come once a week if you need them, but i have my own vacuum and cleaning stuff and towels and blankets.
The sofa has a pull out so we have room for our daughter.
They do allow pets with 100.00 per pet fee. Even though my dogs and my daughters dogs are service animals we had to pay because we had more than the allotted amount. But totally worth it to be able to stay. The regular motels charge way more than this town is worth.
Wish they had this place last year when hubby was working in garden city. But this place will always be my choice for this area.
Thanks again Eagles Den for being here now when we needed it and in the future.
