Staff very friendly and polite. Nice addition of draft beer wall, although sadly I didn’t get a chance to use it. Would stay here again.

The breakfast was good, there were hot options like scrambled eggs and potatoes and sausage. It was a very hearty breakfast. I wasn’t a fan of the bed. There was nothing wrong with it my husband liked it I just like a softer mattress. So just a personal opinion.

We found out what we paid was more than booking direct with the hotel. I wouldn't recommend using booking.com. it was about $100 difference. Booking directly we won't use a 3rd party site anymore like booking.com. We will definitely stay here again. Very nice staff. Price was not what we thought we paid, The front desk lady asked me for my cc which I didn't have a card with that number then she told me the total for that cc and that was less than what I was charged, she said oh that because booking thru 3rd party like booking. Com they pay less and add fees we weren't aware of. Wel will Book direct form now on.

- Connie (6/5): Not well - I left a review in the past regarding Karina. This last time young lady working alongside Luther was so unprofessional. My grandson and I take customer service to utmost. We received are room which was a studio unfortunately the smell in the room was unbearable. Luther rectified the situation unfortunately we didn't receive the same type of room. Bathroom was on top of bedroom, no privacy the sheets smelled like they were not washed.

- jerrywE5849OE (10/5): Thank you Daniel and all other staff! - Our daughter and family had to evacuate their place because of the Alexander Mountain Fire and needed a place to stay indefinitely. We were trying to help them find a place because places near their home were booking up fast. We called the front desk and Daniel answered the phone. He mentioned just having a conversation with the manager about fire evacuees possibly needing rooms. Daniel was very understanding, helpful, and accommodating. He truly cares. A true gem in the hospitality business. We called back a couple times to keep extending their stay. Everyone that answered the phone was helpful and took the time to fully explain things and explore options. Our daughter and family so appreciated the staff. Having a kitchen allowed them to save money by eating in which helped since they were not able to work as much because of the fire. Thank you!

- Jami (2/5): Will give away your accessible room - I booked my room one month in advance and paid in full. I requested a 2 Queen Bed Accessible with a tub. I have a child with special needs in a wheelchair. On my way there, I was told my room was given away and that I would need to take a King Bed 1 bedroom suite with a sofa bed. The big event on the area caused them to give my accessible room away. Having 2 children with me, one being special needs in a wheelchair, this was unacceptable. On top of that, I was charged “upgrade” fees. I will be calling management and I will never stay at a Homewood Suites again.
- saltybeachbum (8/5): Very nice hotel - Very nice extended weekend stay at this property. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Hotel was immaculately clean and always smelled so good. Incredibly good, not sure how they keep it so fresh smelling. The only reason this review is only four stars is because of how incredibly bad the pillows were. So bad, too mushy and soft. This affected our sleep. Hopefully next time we stay, they will have improved.

Fast food and restaurants in walking distant. I do not recommend the GOAT sports bar though. We did not enjoy our food and ended up spending almost $100. Laundry is free. Weight room is nice! Normal breakfast. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

- glennil (10/5): A Hotel That Goes Above and Beyond - This is the best Hilton property I’ve ever stayed at in a non resort setting. We’ve been staying here for five years when visiting family. Employees are all friendly. Someone is constantly cleaning common areas. Pool is very well maintained. Room amenities are better than most. Location is convenient for dining and shopping. Manager should be proud of this one.

- Precious (8/5): Great clean hotel that only needs to work on their weekend breakfast service. - Everything was very clean and updated. Parking was always available and local food establishments close by. Very quiet and convenient. Breakfast ran out very quickly. The two men replenishing food and dishes were overwhelmed. They either needed a woman to run the show or a third person to assist.

- Alison (10/5): UNC Bears visit. - Excellent, spacious room. The hotels location is quiet but has lots of amenities, food stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is spot on and the equipment in the gym is modern and perfect for a workout.

- Andrew (9/5): Superb - The place is beautiful, the staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping did a fast and amazing job. The bacon at breakfast was undercooked and very thin. The bed in my room wasn't very comfortable.

She was patient, knowledgeable and kind. She made a stressful situation better and I appreciate her greatly! Amazing humans do exist. Give this woman a raise!
