• Kelly (10/5): Great hotel close to the beach - We enjoyed our short stay at Scallop Guest Lodge. We were notified in advance that we needed to check in at the Periwinkle Lodge around the corner so this wasn't a problem. The local beach is an easy walk but we drove to the centre of Plettenburg Bay for the evening. The hotel is the right side of town to visit the Robberg reserve. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was great, with its own patio terrace and an outdoor shower!
• Will (10/5): Very nice guest house - Great stay at scallop lodge. When we arrived we were directed to another guest lodge where we had to pick up our keys. The guest house was very secure with lots of security. The room was a very good size with a patio with seating outside and also an outdoor shower. Lots of information about things to do in the local area. There is a nice restaurant within walking distance but to get to the main high street you would need to drive or grab a taxi. Overall it was a very good value for money
• thomas+martina (10/5): Tolles Hotel mit eigenen Garagen Strand 15 Minuten - Tolles Hotel. Zum Strand mit dem Auto 5 Minuten. Zu Fuß 20 minuten. Super Frühstück. Leider im Zimmer Nr. 5 ist der Türstopper an einer ungünstigen Stelle und hat beim nächtlichen Gang ans stille Örtchen schmerzhaft hallo gesagt. Tolles Bad mit zusätzlicher Dusche im Freien 👍. Kleine Terrasse. Bett top

All the amenities you could need: wifi, pool, delicious breakfast. Nice common area and terrific hotel staff who helped arrange taxis and suggested dinner and activities. Very safe and underground parking worked perfectly. Located close to the main town without being directly on a busy street. Highly recommend this beautiful and very comfortable and relaxing hotel! Must stay!
