The owners did not speak a word of English and perhaps for this reason they had unilaterally terminated the cooperation with international booking agencies, so that our booking was confirmed, but no one on site knew about it or was available/able to speak a foreign language.

- keimper (8/5): Nice b&b, near the centre of Marsala - Nice and clean rooms with bathroom and airco. Great breakfast. Very friendly owner. The rooms are situated in an apartment building in a not to busy street. You can park your car in front of the building. Near the city centre of Marsala.

Buona la colazione, con dolci preparati ogni mattina da una signora. Al check-in ho fatto notare che la camera assegnatami non era quella della prenotazione (orange), ma non è stato possibile cambiarla.

- 99marekh (10/5): great vacation - we recommend this apartment. staff was really helpfull. they helped us to find a journey to the beach, car rent, they gave us amazing tips to visit. thanks to the local stuff we saw really nice places. The owner is made for us a home icecream, fanstastic! i am giving 10 points. Breakfast also great. Rooms were clean and prepared. I also have to recommend the local liqueur made of wine " Marsala" - delicious! Thank you for great vacation Marek
- Jelenomeleno (10/5): Lovely place to stay - This B&B in Marsala is a very good choice when travelling around occidental Sicily. The owners are really nice, they offered us some home-made-welcome-cookies and gave us some tips of the local restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, big and quiet. The bathroom has a good size and very nice light. The TV is a little small. There is a little trouble for car parking around, as it is really close to the town center. The breakfast is very good and they offer a wide variety of food. Overall, Our stay was really nice in Portanuova B&B.
- jhnwltn (10/5): Great find - We had planned to spend one night here, but liked Marsala and the Porta Nuova so much we stayed another night. The room was very nicely redone (as is the whole B&B) with comfortable beds, great shower, plenty roomy. The breakfast was fantastic with everything imaginable for an Italian breakfast including many items home-made by Francesco's mother. Located right at the edge of the old historic center, everything is easily accessible on foot. Highly recommended!
- viribustotis (10/5): Great owners and property - I stay in hotels weekly and felt it was time for a B&B. Good central location but still quiet - we are noise hawks and we slept the best here from our entire trip in Sicily. Best decorated room from the trip as well, and that's compared to expensive Palermo hotels. The owners Francesco and Ernesto made every effort to pass through local knowledege on food/restaurants/wine and helped us get to local transport, helped us get a car hire locally, and I would like to catch up with them in the future. The model B&B experience. Great.
- UnclePen (8/5): Great room, newly refurbished, nice folks! - We came late in the day and were really happy to find Porto Nuova. There is no frontage, so you need to call ahead. Valerie welcomed us in and showed us the rooms. There are a few rooms here surrounds the kitchen common area. The rooms and everything in them were new and well decorated. Very clean and spacious. Everything about this was a great experience, and it is a convenient location to discover Marsala's old town.
