Guest Reviews
- Neil (9/5): Worth a stay - Lovely rooms, good beer, good juke box, sport on, busy, friendly staff No parking
- Gavin (10/5): -
- Charles (9/5): -
- Alan (7/5): Good stay - The bed was comfortable, the room a bit basic but fine. The beer and the craic downstairs was excellent. There is no breakfast with this accommodation, be aware. Position is good with access to shops, bars and restaurants. The room was a bit noisy being above the road junction.
- June (8/5): - Very clean, attractive spacious room. Twin beds very comfortable. Noise from busy pub downstairs but expected that.
- Laura (10/5): - Perfect location. Lovely clean room and really friendly staff.
- Teresa (10/5): My stay was perfect at the Horn and Trumpet. Definitely will be returning soon. - Perfect location.
Met with friendly staff.
My room was perfect for my two night stay.
Made very welcome.
- Teresa (10/5): My two night stay at the Horn and Trumpet Bewdley was a perfect stay. -
- Wendy (10/5): -
- Lyra (9/5): Comfy, great location, would go again. - I loved my stay here. I was worried about the noise level, from other reviews mentioning loud music, but I didn't find it to be an issue. I was able to hear when guests downstairs used the hand dryers, but it didn't disturb my ability to sleep or enjoy my stay. I napped during the afternoon and slept really well.
The room was beautifully decorated and very cosy. The bed was the kind that you sink into. I slept so well. Nice big shower and the room had everything I needed. Easy back entrance into the rooms so you don't have to walk through the main pub. Great location. The charging points were a bit far from the bed. No other complaints
- Emily (4/5): -
- James (7/5): - Location and clean Noise from other rooms and outside.
- Shravan (9/5): -
- Jon (8/5): -
- Margaret (10/5): - Location Nothing

- Tom (10/5): I’m a musician and most weekends have to book a hotel, whenever I’m I’m playing in Bewdley this is the place I’ll be sta - Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms
- Kel (8/5): -
- Steven (8/5): Great stay for the price. - Friendly place, clean and a comfortable, quiet nights sleep. En suite is a little on the small side and could do with a bit of freshening up.
- Adam (10/5): -
- Helen (10/5): -
- Nigel04 (8/5): Great for overnight stay - Right in Bewdley pub was very busy .twin room was just what we needed. No black out curtains, sun was a bit much early morning . But everything was good . Bust pub on a Saturday with music ,but that didn't bother me . It maybe could some
- Kenny (7/5): -
- Lulu (7/5): Fantastic hotel, great location - The decor was lovely, very spacious and plenty of storage. The cleanliness was spot on and felt comfortable in the room. I did enjoy the space heater when it got too cold too. The check in process was a bit difficult due to it being a pub. Unknowingly arrived during a rugby match and had to squeeze through a crowd with luggage. If the side door was available for check in this would smooth out the process.

- Poulton (10/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): Very pleasant stay. - Lovely clean room, great location, nice friendly welcoming pub. The radiator in the room went off at night.
- Rosie (10/5): -
- Matthew (1/5): Horrible and a ripoff! - No breakfast served, no parking for my car and no maid service, very noisy until after 12:30 at night from bar below my room and refused me a refund as I refused to stay more than the first night and told staff everything was unacceptable and I was booking out next morning after only one night!!! No on site parking, very noisy, no breakfast and room not cleaned. I had to leave my car 200 meters away from the hotel in a public car park which charged £7 a day.
- Georgina (10/5): Very enjoyable - Lovely room, everything we needed, very clean, very comfortable bed. A hair dryer in every room
- Júlia (10/5): -
- Bianca (9/5): Beautiful, cosy and clean! - The room was beautifully decorated and was spotless. As a cleaner myself I’m always checking the hard to reach areas but I was very impressed The only thing I marked down for was whenever someone used the hand dryer in the toilets down by the bar it was quite loud in the bedroom but it didn’t really bother us and it closed before we went to sleep.

- Elizabeth (10/5): Would recommend to anyone travelling that way. Live music made the night extra special - Fabulous pub, very lively and the staff were super friendly. Our room was lovely
- Shroppietolly (5/5): Nice place but - Nice staff, good location and very clean Expensive for what it was. Shower pressure very poor and the room was above pub toilets so the hand dryer noise was very loud whilst pub was open but after closing there was an intermittent noise like a pump which continued on and off all night.
- Flood (10/5): - attending a funeral perfect location maybe bit noisy music from the pub
- ricky (10/5): - Location and atmosphere Nothing
- Lee (7/5): -
- Keith (8/5): Classic building in beautiful Bewdley. - Bewdley is a beautiful town. The architecture is impressive and historic. The Horn and Trumpet is a great example. The beer is excellent, the welcome is warm. Don’t be put off by it being a popular and busy pub as it is not a noisy place and is very quiet after closing time.
- Emma (9/5): -
- Paula (9/5): Good value great location friendly staff - Clean convenient no fuss Above a pub so a little bit noisy, but I was expecting that and it didn’t inconvenience me to much
- thomas (8/5): Great location friendly staff. Good pub to stay at. - Its a pub, so you just go upstairs,.location is very good. No breakfast avaiable, stairs are very steep, so elderly beware, and no car park...but theres a carpark over the road 7.00 pounds for 24 hrs ,so no big deal.
- Patrick (10/5): -
- sarah (10/5): Excellent very welcoming - Lovely old place , lush cobs and a lovely open fire what more could ya want x Nothing
- Jack (10/5): -
- Brian (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): Great location and a comfortable welcoming stay - Great location, friendly staff, clean room with comfortable bed and a powerful shower. The stairs may be an issue for those less mobile, and the hot tap in room 4 is absolutely scolding hot, so caution would need to be taken if being used by a child.

- Kelly (10/5): Great place to stay. - Location great. So comfortable. Great staff. We will be back.
- Nigel (8/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): Everyone enjoyed their stay and rated the Horn and Trumpet as a good choice which suited our needs - The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were a big party and had booked 5 rooms, all except one were ensuite, all were very nice rooms, good size and well appointed. The Horn and Trumpet is a pub so we had expected there to be some noise but the rooms were mostly quite quiet. It was very well situated for our needs, the beer was good and there was a pool table. It was a bit noisy. It would have been better if all the rooms were ensuite.
- Judith (6/5): Comfortable room. Staff were excellent especially Shelley. - Central Bewdley so very convenient Showers were quirky- had to move room.
- Sian (7/5): Was ok for one night - Convenient for town People being sick outside early hours
- Duncan (8/5): - A great old school British pub the staff were excellent and friendly will stay there again next time I visit the UK
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (9/5): Ideal for weekend away - Central location

Clean,comfortable room
Good value for money Lots of exterior noise
- Ss1live (1/5): Bad - Bed bug, noise.
- Mandy (8/5): Very good -
- Clare (8/5): Pleasent stay with friendly staff and regulars in the bar - Local to town and river No breakfast or advised of where best to get one
- Mrs (10/5): Great place for a night away - Great location. There's a car park a couple of minutes walk from the pub. We stayed on one of the hottest days but the room wasn't too bad and they supplied a fan. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Bewdley. Nothing
- Sandy (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Clean room, very quiet, comfortable beds, fan provided (stayed during the summer), great location, friendly staff. N/A
- Roy (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): A friendly Hotel with good staff. - Good location pleasant surroundings.
- Mandy (9/5): Superb -
- Connie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Good value even on a carnival weekend. - I did not have breakfast. The room and access were fine. Having an ensuite bathroom was perfect, particularly on a hot day. tea making facilities were good and bottled water was useful and appreciated. Nothing.
- Deborah (10/5): Great pub with brilliant staff - Excellent comfy clean room, great location and very friendly welcoming staff Nothing
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shaun (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (9/5): Comfortable stay - Two flights of steep stairs to get to room
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Christine (7/5): Very convenient location to suit our purposes. - No car park.
Lots of stairs to climb.
Room wasn’t serviced.
No clean towels.
- Kirsty (8/5): Great little weekend getaway - We didn't order breakfast. Room was clean and a good size. All we needed, en suite was clean and plenty of towels, clean comfy beds and great location for taking a day or evening stroll. 2 minute walk from large carpark and Wetherspoons. Close to shops and river. Pub is popular with locals and was busy with Sport on TV and DJ or Singers some weekends. Cute small outdoor area, feels homely, lots of aspirational signs and nostalgia memorabilia. Nothing that needed changing.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geddes-moore (9/5): Superb - Location is excellent The rooms in my opinion could do with blackout blinds, we were woken very early by the sun, other than that very nice.
- Paula (7/5): Good -
- Damon (8/5): Very nice room. Important to realise you are booking a room above a pub. Inevitable noise until late - Fantastically presented room. Nice warm welcome. Duvet inappropriate for the time of year. Summer weight would have been better
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gareth (6/5): A well-appointed and convenient place to stay with friendly staff - Have stayed before and was happy to return. Great location in the centre of Bewdley. Friendly staff, very nicely decorated and comfortable room. Free wi-fi worked well. Parking available nearby in Dog Lane car park (£7 for 24 hours - cash or app only (no card payments at parking machine)). Price for single-occupancy room-only in a family room (the last room available) felt a little high, but is understandable. Noise from the pub itself was quite loud in the room till 11pm, but not unexpected when booking to stay in a pub on a Friday night!
- Justin (9/5): Friendly staff and perfect location. - Location was perfect for facilities/shops and Bewdley station Nothing
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Keith (9/5): Superb - Nicely decorated, very comfortable and in a great location.
- Tracy (8/5): Lovely, but loud - Excellent location in the middle of town and near the river. Lots of shops, pubs, restaurants in walking distance. Some of them only take cash but there is a cash machine outside Tesco.
Lovely clean, spacious, well decorated room with tea and coffee facilities, tv and a hot, powerful shower.
Beds were very comfortable, staff were kind and friendly, and the free WiFi was a hit with the kids. The bar was quite loud for a Thursday night and we didn't sleep until after midnight. It sounded fun though, if I wasn't travelling with kids I would have gone down for a drink!
There is no parking at the pub, although the public car park is 30 seconds away and overnight parking is only £2 between 6pm and 8pm.
- Guillaume (8/5): Very good - Very welcoming staff, really good value for money and room very clean. Some noise coming from the pub/street but stopped promptly at 11 and after, was very quiet for the whole night
- Scott (8/5): Great Sray - The location, the staff, the room, the decor, the atmosphere
