Guest Reviews
- Judy (10/5): Extremely nice room! - This was a small older horseshoe shaped motel but unexpectedly very nice! The owner was on sight and willing to help with any questions. They had renovated the rooms and it is wonderful. It had a very country feel but extremely comfortable and had hardwood laminate floors and was a lovely room. The bed was very comfortable! The decor was also great! It had an electronic door lock that used a password. The TV worked very well and had numerous channels to choose from. The bathroom was extremely well done. It was super clean as well. One small thing. The door rubbed on the floor in one spot as you opened it and had worn through the laminated flooring. That too was not significant.

- Ross (10/5): Just fine - The bathtub had a crack in it and clearly the water was just going in the floor. They just covered it with a bath mat.
- Foster (10/5): If I ever get to Libby again and need a room, that’s where I will stay. - Ok…. The guy who checked us in was super friendly. He ended up upgrading our rooms to king rooms because he had them and I think because my parents were with us. The rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was actually very comfortable. I haven’t spent a night in a hotel with beds so comfortable. The rooms were very roomy and homey. I would highly recommend a stay at the Evergreen Motel. There was nothing “not to like”.
- Lugar (10/5): -
- Jarrett (7/5): -
- Linda (10/5): - Very clean, facility location close to downtown without being too close. comfy bed, thoughtful room lighting, secure room. Recommend when staying in Libby.
- Wendy (8/5): Excellent option for the price - Nice location. Easy to walk around town. Walls are thin and noisy guests could interrupt your sleep (crying baby).
- Fay (10/5): Wonderful. Will definitely stay here again. - Friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable and quiet.
- Rausch (5/5): - The size of the room and comfortable. The seating was uncomfortable.
- Adam (9/5): Overall a very pleasant stay! Will book here again if I come back in the future - Convenient location, close to the office I was visiting with a lovely little coffee place called 7 Seeds right across the intersection. Comfy bed - slept very well. Solid internet connection as well. My visit was in the middle of winter so I was worried that there wouldn't be hot water in the shower, but it was piping hot! The wall heater unit is loud so I ended up turning it off at night - luckily there were plenty of blankets to stay warm. The sink didn't have hot water until the last day I was there. While I was there a lot of construction contractors were using the motel as their overnight lodging, so there was some noise later at night and early in the morning with them coming and leaving.
- Terry (8/5): - When we checked into the room, the refrigerator wasn't working. I reported this to the front desk and he quickly switched us to a different room. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Although the room was fairly clean (we would stay there again), the bathroom ceiling fan/light was covered with dark dust or debris of some kind. My wife said the bathtub had peeled under the shower-mat (the tub was acrylic or fiberglass).
- Carol (10/5): Sparkling clean updated room with very helpful staff. - Room #13 was very quiet set in back corner. Sparkling Clean with well done updated decor. Nice modern lamps over the bed is an upgrade to photo seen on website. Huge bed was comfortable. More seating in the room also. Met Mathew when checking in. He upgraded us from a Queen to a King Room. He was very helpful and was great to work with. He helped my set up my iPhone for an alarm. Month of stay February. David was great also. Note my photos lack the wide angle to get the whole room in them. Two things on the Booking.com listing were unavailable. With only two people on the front desk they are not able to have an actual Wake up Service. Clock with Alarm was missing. David tried to get a clock/alarm from another room being renovated, but was not able to get that to work. All in all the two of them were great. Microwave and refrigerator blocked the view of the courtyard from this room.

- Stephanie (10/5): - Great place to stay in Libby!
- John (8/5): - Wasn't a cabin, was a typical classic motel room. Updated and clean, street noise not too loud, but is located on corner of Hwy 2. Good wifi able to stream and download.
- Angela (10/5): Great base in Libby! - Clean, loved the hardwood floors, comfortable beds & good pillows, nice space, quiet. Liked it all
- Stephanie (10/5): - Always lovely, staff is wonderful, room is clean and comfortable.
- Paul (8/5): - Nice clean refurbished room but over priced.could use a table for sitting.
- Lilian (10/5): -
- Belinda (10/5): Best location in Libby! Beautiful updated facility with comfortable clean beds - Recently updated facility, beautiful landscaping, and clean spacious rooms. Comfortable beds, close to downtown and everything Libby has to offer. Excellent location, best hotel in Libby and I’ve stayed at most of them. I will be back again! Microwave blocked the corner of the television, which made viewing a bit challenging. And the refrigerator kept the bathroom door from closing completely so it could not be latched. But that’s a minor problem.
- Belinda (10/5): Best hotel in Libby, clean, comfortable beds, recently updated, excellent location! - I stayed here for work, and my husband enjoyed the chainsaw carving competition in town. Location is everything in this hotel has the best location! And it’s recently been updated with beautiful landscaping and clean comfortable with new flooring. It backs up to Subway so smells a lot like Subway garlic bread all the time, but that’s a minor problem
- Barbara (6/5): - There was need for some TLC in bathroom...no electrical outlet there yet a blow dryer and a toilet for kindergarteners.. But is was clean and served it's purpose - a place to lay our head.
- Sherri (10/5): - This was a nice locally owned motel. It was clean there was no ice machine was broken. It was a bit pricy for the stay but it was clean. No ice cream as a bit small
- Tony (8/5): - Nothing fancy but was very clean.
- Sharon (10/5): Very happy with pure stay here. - This is a very quaint motel, very clean, very comfortable. E will stay again.
- Debra (8/5): - We were moved to the Sandman. There was a lot of construction around the hotel
- Jennifer (10/5): - We stayed in Unit 1, we expected it to be noisy as its fairly close to the road, but it wasn't at all. It was small, but clean and comfortable. It has a comfy chair as well as a desk & chair. There's a refrigerator (with a separate freezer) a small coffee maker, but no microwave. The best part of all? No carpet!
- Lisa (10/5): Wonderful and Clean - Very clean. Great decor and comfortable. Great air conditioning, spacious layout and quiet. No ice available in the ice room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Give This One A Pass - This is my first and last time staying here. Won't stay again. Thought I'd give it a try but I'll go back to one of the other three where I've stayed in the past. There was no bathmat, waste baskets were unlined, no privacy curtain for shower, no place for toiletries, only one hand towel, broken ice machine, only one bed stand, when last person checked in there was no one in the office until 11 a.m. the next day, no phone available to contact office (not everyone has a cell phone). When checking in had to wait several minutes while person was on phone.

- Sally (10/5): Loved our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area. - The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable beds. We liked that we could walk downtown for food and drinks. The outside was gorgeous with beautiful flowers.
- Maryevez (10/5): The place to stay in Libby - This place was PER-FECT. It was super clean, I had all what I need and more. Very well maintained.
- Kathie (10/5): Outstanding the best place on our cross country adventure - Flowers and park like appearance greeted us and even though we arrived early desk allowed us to check in Clean and welcoming
- Diane (10/5): Conrad,Mt Wyndham - Friendly and helpful clerk, Chris. Yummy cookies and excellent dinner restaurant suggestion. Rooms were very clean and comfy.
- Rhonda (10/5): Clean, comfortable and cozy - Our stay was excellent. Everything was clean, comfortable and cozy. Slept great and location is close to eateries. Wish all of our road trip stays were like this!
- Sabra (7/5): - Location was wonderful. Ice machine was not working.
- Joyce (8/5): Love the little town and motel was quaint and cute and clean. - Loved the location Bed comfy! Air conditioner was not cooling properrly it was a window unit
- Henry (7/5): nice location and great rooms - Rooms were very nice and clean no parking when we arrived and parked in the street - a ways to carry bags. No snacks or breakfast - nice room but that's all you got
- Eileen (8/5): -
- Lailla (6/5): - Although the bed and room in general was clean, the shower floor was disgusting (see photos). There was also no hand soap to use at the sink, so we used shampoo to wash our hands.
- Gold (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Quaint and comfortable - Very quaint and clean, and the bed was comfortable, and the people were great and friendly….,
- Francesco (10/5): Fantástico e ottima posizione - Il gestore è gentilissimo e la stanza pulita Niente
- Robyn (8/5): - Beautiful place! Kind staff. Clean rooms.
- Kevin (10/5): - Nice clean motel. Owner was onsite and very accommodating.
- Ceri (10/5): A gem in the heart of Libby, MT. - This place is a gem! From the clean smell upon entering to the beautiful wooden beds which were comfy beyond words, the 2 nights stay we had to celebrate our daughter's birthday were just perfect.
- Tim (10/5): - Drive to front door and unload your gear. No steps or halls just 15' walk.
- Patrick (10/5): - Nice lace to stop overnight on a motorcycle trip. The rooms are excellent and the property is in excellent shape. I would definitely go there again!
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jami (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and spotless! Very impressed with our stay here.
- Barb (9/5): The place was excellent - Everything was great Booking .com Cost me a way too much for the booking. I am considering not booking with them anymore.
- Erich (8/5): Very good -
- Meredith (10/5): - This was a great place to stay. The owner was very helpful and his recommendation for the brewery was great! After being in the car all day it was a nice walk to the brewery.
- Suzanne (7/5): Cute little place in a small town. Reasonable value. Would return if we were in the area again. - Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Check in was easy and staff pleasant. Location was convenient and area seemed safe. Parking lot was under construction so it felt trashy and there was some litter scattered about. There was no outlet in the bathroom so using the blow dryer was inconvenient. The shower nozzle was in need of repair so getting a good temperature was a challenge.
- Kathleen (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nay (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean, great location. Would love to stay here again!
- Kathy (9/5): Superb -
- Kathleen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mia (10/5): - This little motel is adorable. Easy to find and we felt safe there. The property courtyard is under renovation, so parking was at a premium, but not really a problem. Would stay again!
- Hunter (8/5): Very good -
- Melinda (6/5): Pretty quiet town - Very nice large room Parking
- James (8/5): - property was under renovation and construction
no mention of this during booking?
- Crystal (9/5): Small town comfort - - Kind and professional service: David was genuinely pleasant during both check-in and check-out and even helped us find another nearby motel when Evergreen was fully booked.
- Relaxing, well-furnished room:
It was quiet, clean, and gave us a moment of calm during a difficult time.
- Comfortable bed:
We loved having the option between soft or firm pillows—such a thoughtful detail.
- Convenient personal touches:
The makeup remover wipes in the room were a small but incredibly appreciated amenity that made us feel cared for.
- Peaceful atmosphere:
Everything felt cozy and comforting, exactly what we needed. - Construction inconvenience: Canopy and sidewalk installation made it hard to get in and out of our room, especially in rainy conditions.
- Safety concerns: Our room was in a far corner, and the high step up and down felt risky and I worried about falling.
- Accessibility planning:
With construction happening in front of each room, a more thoughtful approach to maintaining clear access would have made a big difference.
- kim (6/5): - It was a cute room, but there were dead bugs in the sheets and we couldn’t park in the parking lot had to park on the street
- Bruce (8/5): - The parking lot/sidewalks were under construction, so that area was kind of a mess. Rooms were good. Our first night, our air conditioner sounded like a jet engine - couldn't sleep. We let David know and he moved our stuff into a different room. Great response. New room was fine.
- Erika (10/5): Lovely Option in Libby - The Sraff are always so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need.
- Keith (4/5): - Site was under construction
- Robin (10/5): - Our previous arrangements fell through so we booked this hotel very last minute. We were prepared to “get what we get and not throw a fit” and ended up feeling like we scored a bonus vacation. This hotel is still being renovated, but the rooms had everything we needed and were decorated with the perfect touches. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We will be recommending this hotel to everyone that comes to the area,
- Sophie (10/5): Very clean and renovated - Great location, outdoor tables and chairs, very clean, renovated and nice bathroom commodities (quality toilet paper, tissue paper and even makeup remover wipes!).
Only draw back when we went was the construction/renovation outside.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Good location
- Jamison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (8/5): great stopover stay! - the rooms were super clean, quiet, great location, friendly staff
- Robert (10/5): - It was all good. Reminded me of motels on the Oregon coast in the 1960’s. Libby is a nice stopover on the way to Whitefish. Kootenai River is worth a journey.
- Duane (10/5): Exceptional - It was cute, clean decorations were great. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again.
- Terence (5/5): Passable - Well located close to town
Quiet
Comfortable beds No hotwater in shower or bathroom basin
No Microwave in room, despite this being listed on Booking.com
Unfinished works directly outside our door meant we were unable to park close to our room.
- Vicki (9/5): We chose wisely while researching where to stay in Libby. It was the cutest motel in the area. - The motel is so cute and the rooms are very well maintained and decorated nicely. We had no complaints and loved the heater in the bathroom! We were traveling through the area with visitors from the Midwest who wanted to see the natural sights and Libby was a great location to do that. They are in the process of doing some new landscaping but even with that going on the place is so nice. The parking area is a little small but we didn't have any trouble finding a spot to park.
- Ofa (10/5): Exceptional - Super comfortable bed. Easy check in.
- Kenzie (9/5): Superb -
- csrollyson (10/5): Clean, Quality Room Walkable From Downtown Libby & Attractions - This is a great place to stay. It's walkable from the Amtrak station and downtown, and the room was spotless and well-appointed. The Manager was very helpful about letting me check in early, which I really appreciated, as I could drop off my bag and have a morning nap. I was also able to walk to the Heritage Museum, which is a must-see. Libby also has a brewery downtown, Cabinet Mountain. Thank you, Evergeen!
- Joshua N (10/5): - We took a two week road trip and the Evergreen was the best night’s stay of anywhere by far! Super friendly staff and an extremely comfortable bed. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for everything!
- Jan (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (8/5): - Shower floor in our room was pretty sketchy. We ended up not wanting to use it.
- Teryn (10/5): - Pam was great and very friendly upon checking in. We we traveling to Libby for baseball and she was a peach.
Parking seems a bit awkward for those corner rooms if you want to park near your room.
All in all its a nice quiet place and withing walking of much of the town. Thanks for having us.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Carrie (7/5): Great employees and very clean room! - The icemaker and tv did not work. The being said, the staff member at the front desk was an amazing lady, 76 years old and sharp as can be. She fixed the tv and went to her own house to get us some ice, she was the best!
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully remodeled. Rooms very clean.
- Kroeger (9/5): I would choose this motel again, because of comfort and location. - The room was very comfortable. I thought the bed was one of the best I have had. I was in a handicapped accessible room, without being handicapped. At 5'10", the mirror by the sink was fairly short. Everything else was great.
- Kevin (6/5): - Clean property, rooms very small, TV volume set so low … you have to sit close to it to hear. Refrigerator nice size. Parking lot is too small and I had to park on the street. Nice location near city center.
