• Patrick (10/5): Great price for the location. - Hotel Turey is in an upscale location in the capital, within very short walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, cleaners and a gym. The price is very economical and if you're not looking for a luxury hotel, but rather a safe clean and convenient place to stay, this one does the job.

• Arleigh (8/5): - We had a studio with 2 beds. Beds were comfortable, a basically equipped kitchen with a good size fridge. A nice pool and a quiet upscale neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby Very secure. Excellent value. I would stay again.

• Patrick (10/5): Convenient, safe and great for the price. - Hotel Turey always offer a comfortable and satisfying experience, it is very economical and is walking distance to everything you need (i.e. supermarket, laundromat, gym, banks, restaurants, pharmacy, etc). The staff are friendly and they remember you if you stayed their previously.
• Luis (8/5): - Pase una noche en el hotel, bajo unta tormenta, el personal fue muy amable aunque le falto presencia. Las instalaciones se ven viejas pero adecuadas para el precio. Hay un vrntanal en calados en el pasillo por donde entraba el agua de la tormenta que deberia cambiarse. Lo bueno es que el apartahotel esta cerca de todo y del lugar donde ibamos.

Don't expect good service or front desk help, this is for the routined traveller who knows how to take care of themselves. Shops and restaurants around in near walking distance. Pool was unkempt and not possible to swim in...but generally stay here was "ok".

• Bolivia (8/5): Excelente ubicación - Fuimos para un concierto en el estadio olimpico y nos fue muy bien. La ubicación para ese tipo de eventos es excelente, la habitación muy amplia y segura.

Lo usamos por una noche y fue muy bueno el servicio, tuvimos que pagar en efectivo, hubiera preferido tarjeta de credito. Pero fue un buen servicio al final, lo recomiendo para un lugar para dormir.

• Patrick (10/5): Great for business trips or visiting family - Turey is situated in a convenient location in downtown Santo Domingo that is walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, banks, a laundromat and a gym. It is also minutes away from several malls. The price is very economical and the rooms are spacious. There is also free parking if you rent a vehicle.

• Patrick (10/5): Great place for the price - The hotel is located in a tranquil area of the capital called Naco, and it is in walking distance to restaurants, a supermarket, pharmacy, gym, and convenience stores. The rooms contain a kitchen and a terrace and it is very economical.

• PD (6/5): - The kitchenette was OK but no dishwashing soap, towels to wash and dry dishes or anything to clean things up. If you are there for one night as I was, it makes it very hard to utilize in a sanitary way. Having to buy those kinds of basics seems like a lot of expense and work for two small meals. The staff was very friendly though if you don't speak Spanish you might have trouble communicating easily. Warning. I thought that I had paid for my room with my credit card weeks before I even got to the DR. When I arrived they told me that they only accept cash and that they held the card number in case I hadn't shown up, but they had no way to run my card. Fortunately I had enough cash on me and they accepted USD. The Amigo Supermercado two blocks away wasn't great but there is a Super Polo on Avenida Lincoln 10+ blocks away that is much better IMHO. Place is clean, staff is friendly and neighborhood safe.

• Berry (8/5): FANTASTIC LOCATION - I have a different perspective on rooms when I travel. I notice first how clean a room is, not it condition because this hotel is an older model with gas range and full size refrigerator. The maids do a thorough cleaning of the rooms. The next thing I consider is the location and this is a wonderful location for an average cost hotel within walking distance to anything you need. There are great clubs and restaurants within a block. The only draw back you pay in cash other than that enjoy your stay. Very helpful staff.
• TNC (10/5): Comfy Perfect size Aparta/Hotel - This was my 2nd time, since 2007 and just as the same, the staff, the hotel and the room were as expected. Friendly, reliable, spacious and comfortable. The property is perfectly located in the nearest outer location of downtown. Many malls, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies close by. Very quiet to rest during the day and night, the street is relatively frequently used by traffic but in the room you get your quiet rest. Definitely recommended.
• Andro (4/5): Poor communication, only in Spanish - Terrible communication, cancelled the booking and they don't have a proper payment method. only pay at arrival and still they cancel. We had to look for another hotel at 09.00 PM! Very rude staff
• Stephen (10/5): Very happy at Hotel Turey - I booked the hotel for the location, and the pool. I was very happy with the room, and the facilities. The internet was good, and the place was very clean. The service was excellent and i will probably book this hotel again in the future.
• Ozzie (2/5): DO NOT stay at this Hotel - I made a reservation well in afvance and had a booking confirmation via Expedia. I arrived at the hotel just to be told “sorry, We know you made a reservation but there are no available rooms. Some guest decided to stayed longer so they had prioority over you.” Tbe they regerred me to the Drake Hotel, where I ended up. That hotel is probably a 2 stars category. Rooms are no well isolated from street or Air acconditioner noise. And the faciliies are not that good. 3 floor do not have elevators.

• Hilda (2/5): No safety no security do not book. - The Hotel is nothing compare to what it shows on the pictures I was extremely disappointed with the appearance of the place as well as the staff. I was greeted at 3am by a gentleman with a tank top with no professionalism but so ever, there is no security to watch over your car, the staff asked me for my passport which I refused to give him please not in a million years I would not surrender my passport in fact I would advise you not to give anyone your passport in the DR the one and only exception will be to a Dominican customs officer at the airport show your ID as a form of identenfication. I stayed because it was super late and I had no other place to go but I felt this place wasn't safe at all, in fact I believe the owner as well as close friends have been reviewing this place to hike up the the rating. Overall thumbs down never again.

Beds were okay, quiet enough. Pool was refreshing and staff was friendly and helpful. Many restaurants around, supermarket very close and mall just a coup,e blocks away. Rooms could use a little updating but were a great value.
