• Samiksha (6/5): - Room was dirty. There were bugs all over the bed. Housekeeping did not do a good job of cleaning.
• Terry (5/5): Owners need to update their towels and mattresses. - They allowed dogs. Mattress had springs poking up near the surface in places. Mattress was lumpy. Ironically dog barking at night was an issue, but not due to guest’s dogs, but rather a group of roaming dogs. Towels were very old and some tearing with use. Breakfast was mediocre.

• Jimena (9/5): Encantados - La localización de, hotel, las vistas desde la piscina y la habitación, y el concepto de cabaña para la habitación. Súper amables en recepción y en general los trabajadores del hotel. Nos hubiera gustado que la piscina no estuviera tan fría, y en algunos momentos no había nadie en la recepción. Aunque enseguida volvían!

Den Wäscheservice haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die ganze Hotelanlage braucht mal eine Sanierung. Einen TV und einen kleinen Kühlschrank würde ich in dieser Preisklasse erwarten und ein besseres Internet.

• Keith (9/5): Fabulous place surrounded by wildlife and the sounds of nature - Location was perfect for us - easy access to beach and amenities; being surrounded by forest was brilliant for wildlife spotting. Swimming pool - although a bit cold! Onsite bar - meant we could relax after a busy day without having to go out again and was reasonably priced Staff were all really helpful and friendly Only minor complaint was the breakfast which was typical hotel buffet food that sits around too long and gets dried out, but it saved us time in the mornings

• Mogens Bech (4/5): Vi rejste før tid! - Kvinden i receptionen var flink og manden i baren det samme. God bar. Smuk have, især hvis det havde været muligt at nyde den. Vores værelse matchede bestemt ikke booking.com, ingen terrassedør med lysindfald og balkon helt uden udsyn. Poolen var beskidt, grumset og med oliefilm. De spillede musik fra et TV hele dagen, så vi ikke kunne høre fuglene. Morgenmaden var ikke god og især det, at de kom en sauce i Gallo Pintoen, fremfor at stille en flaske frem. Andreas var ikke lydhør og viste ingen interesse for sine gæster.

Sería ideal un espacio de cocina compartida; con niños, lluvia, altos precios de la zona; tener implementos de cocina ayudaría a resolver una necesidad. Lo otro es que se percibe un importante deterioro, quizás sea bueno ir haciendo inversiones para que el hotel lusca mas bonito (pintura, áreas exteriores, parqueo, jardinería)
• MSK91932 (10/5): Cute little boutique hotel just outside of Cocles - Staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too - eggs, beans & rice, etc. Water to fill bottles available 24 hr/day which was so appreciated. Coffee also available 24 hr/day. AC worked really well which isn't always the case in this area. Lots of beautiful birds and monkeys on the grounds.

• sergio (10/5): Tranquilidad a un paso de la playa - Instalaciones creadas en medio de la naturaleza rodeadas de árboles y animales, un lujo si buscas salir del ruido y relajarte. Las habitaciones son amplias con baño privado y agua caliente. La nuestra tenía una terraza continental vistas traseras al bosque, un lujo! Las instalaciones comunes están limpias y recogidas. El desayuno es continental y muy correcto. El personal super amable y atento, te ayudan en cualquier cosa que necesites. Estás a 5’ caminando de la playa, con varios restaurantes próximos y el supermercado a unos 10’ caminando. Para ir a Puerto Viejo hay un camino costero precioso que se hace en 1h donde puedes disfrutar de la vegetación y fauna local! Es tu lugar si buscas tranquilidad y naturaleza. Si le podemos dar un pero es que las habitaciones, pese a estar orientadas al sur, al estar rodeadas de naturaleza tienen poca luz natural.

Very nice wooden looking and cozy rooms with a good terrasse facing nature (but had been cut somewhat recently between the trees) Getting dated. No mosquito net. Not a lively place while I was there. Saw almost no other quest, but was low season, so. Wall between rooms very low sound proofing. I could hear every little noise from the other side.

Las unicas recomendaciones que ya di: equipar una mini refrigeradora a cada habitación. Tambien que el staff estén pendientes de cuando algo se acaba en el desayuno. Pero fuera de eso, todo excelente

• SkylerZ (8/5): Pool and jungle watch - Had a really nice pool with a lounge area, also off to the side, they had a pool table room, which was really nice. Complimentary breakfast was really good! They would open up their own bar during the day so you could grab a cold drink while hanging out! The staff was very helpful in securing laundry, bicycle, and other transportation needs. The room was big, had one king bed, but it also had a smaller twin in the corner. Had a fridge, a big bathroom with plenty of hot water. Fresh towels daily, along with cleaning. Nice pool deck with lounge chairs. Really quiet and nice place to just relax. The location was a bit outside of town and up a hill. Yet, once there, it was nice to be there.

It’s outside of the main stop so it’s quiet at night but only a 8 minute bike ride to town and easier to get to Punta Uva which was nice

• Maria (8/5): Genuine and secluded from tourist trails. - It was a very nice location. Our room had a balcony towards the djungle. We heard the howler monkeys, and had hummingbirds passing by as well as parrots and tucans flying over the hotel area. We also got some really good and valuable help from the receptionist in finding interesting activities. Only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, there is a beatiful beach, and a couple of nice resaurants as well.
