De locatie aan het strand is mooi. Parkeren is mogelijk op korte afstand van de B&B. Dit is zeker niet de laatste keer dat we ivm familiebezoek deze B&B zullen bezoeken. niets

Beaches Guest House was absolutely lovely - characterful, quiet, and in a great location accessible to the centre of town but not right in the fray. Buzz and Jo have done a superb job with the establishment and are friendly, attentive hosts who serve yummy breakfasts. The single bedrooms "wing" was perfect in terms of facilities and comfort. A joyous find - we would definitely stay here again!

The noisy couple who sang until 4am in a nearby room! Nothing to do with the owners or the place. Just a pair of antisocial people.

Its becoming are usual place to stay when we stay in Southend. Breakfasts are lovely and they were very accommodating at finding gluten free food for me, thank you.

We sat out the front in the October sunshine and had views from the Pier to Thorpe Bay. Our stay was only overnight, visiting family nearby. We would have liked to stay longer

• Richard (10/5): Friendly hosts, great rooms, good location - Just returned from an excellent stay at the Beaches Guesthouse and would definitely return. Warm welcome and friendly service from Jo and Buzz throughout our stay. Room 10 was spacious, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and featured a good sized ensuite. The room could be improved by replacing the blind such that it blocks out all light in the mornings. Breakfast was included with a range of cereals, etc. on offer and a cooked breakfast which extended to things like Eggs Benedict, Salmon, Croissant with Cheese and Ham, etc. but unfortunately none of the more traditional offerings, like Bacon. Location: pretty good with nearby free parking, a short walk to parks, pubs, shops, and cafes, and about a 30 minute walk to the pier.

• Andrea (10/5): - Where to start, they had to evict us as we liked it so much! We had an overnight stay at Beaches Guest House. There was free parking outside and a free car park down the road. Throughout the property the decor was amazing which had taken a lot of thought - look at the hall ceiling. It was also very comfortable and immaculately clean with everything you could need provided. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. It was warm and friendly and the perfect place for our stay.

• Keith (9/5): A great peaceful place to stay - Very nice comfortable clean room overlooking the beach. The WiFi worked fine, there was a large standard fan and lovely comfortable chairs in from of wide double door facing a small balcony. There are plenty of good restaurants within a short walking distance. For my wife and I we would have preferred a slightly wider bed. Breakfast was designed more for vegetarians (although there was a ham option). We would have preferred more meat options and a traditional English breakfast.

• Richard (9/5): I relaxing stay in a busy seaside town. - The bedroom and bathroom were both fitted thoughtfully and better than most hotels! Everything was spotless and worked efficiently. Buzz was enthusiastic and made helpful suggestions about the local facilities, including car parking. Jo had already given sound advice on where to dine. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the Eggs Royale a real treat. The bedroom was quite bright even with the blinds down. I enjoyed the little bowl of fresh fruit but could have eaten a bit more. I was also surprised that no peppermint tea was available for breakfast, so pleased I had brought my own.

Honesty box for crisps, drinks, etc, and the low level light in the bathroom that automatically came on when you entered were brilliant ideas - especially when needing the loo in the early hours! Room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was very good, as was the menu choice and surroundings. Free parking! A lot of much larger guest houses and hotels could really learn something from Buz and Jo. Nothing! Would thoroughly recommend.

• Pawel (4/5): Disappointing - hello. the parking was supposed to be free, but you can only park for 1 hour and then move, it was supposed to be sea view room, but I had a view of the streets and cars, the breakfast was good but for someone who is on a diet, and you could only take one mini pastry(the inscription - please take one)

Beautiful place with thoughtful touches, like sweets in the hall, and supporting local businesses by selling a small selection of their produce. We had a lovely restful stay and the breakfast was Top Notch 👍🏻
