• Kathleen (9/5): A lovely place with a great view - The view from the deck was gorgeous and relaxing, right on the beach. And the person running the place was friendly and helpful. The fridge was quite loud and the bathroom/shower was a bit of a tight squeeze, ok for me but a bigger person might find it difficult.

• Joyce (10/5): Would recommend a stay a Hedley House. - Funky but fun 50’s style motel but had everything you could need including a night light for the bathroom. Very nice deck and sliding glass doors overlook the water. Small and clean space. The bathroom is very tiny including the shower. Okay for our overnight stay. Would like to know if any of the rooms are larger.

Tout doit être refait

• Cindy (3/5): Teribbly disappointed 😏 - The view is spectacular! It has the patina of a long ago era! Unfortunately, its prime wasn’t yesterday is what needs to be said. The room rates don’t equate with the value of this property. It’s terribly overpriced ! We stayed in a vineyard boutique hotel in Grand Prè the evening before for essentially the same price..

• SamCan61 (10/5): A very relaxing stay and appreciated all the good quality amenities provided in the room. - The location was amazing with your own private deck overlooking the water. The hanging flowers added a beautiful touch. The bed was comfortable and the towels, sheets and pillows were top of the line. I appreciated all of the thought and care put in by Danielle to ensure a wonderful stay at the property!

• Debbie (9/5): - The cabin was well supplied with everything to cook meals. The rustic cabin was extremely clean. The beds and linens are wonderful !! Great sleep !! Also loved sitting on the deck looking out over the water. Collected shells and sea glass on the beach down below. Very peaceful and therapeutic. Lots of water pressure. Not far from all amenities in Digby. Staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend this little piece of tranquility. ☺️

• Nathalie (8/5): Calming and relaxing stay - The property was very clean, quiet and had fantastic views of the Bay of Fundy and Digby. It was also in close proximity to Digby. Loved that there was a small kitchen for cooking and that registration and check out was easy. The only thing for us is that the property looks a bit outdated .

The rooms each have their own balcony looking onto the beach where you can watch the tides come in and out. Staff was super friendly. Ended up staying an extra night!

Unfortunately there was a mix up with the billing and I didn't recognize the new charge on my credit card so had to cancel my card. (different amount than quoted on booking) Found out next morning that it was the owners other business(?) name on the billing. Kind of messed up our vacation as that is the card we use for everything. Thankfully we have another CC. Will stay there again as we did love the place and the person they have running the motel is the best!

I really don't have very much negative to say.,would have liked the room to have been bigger so that a small table and chairs that we could have used to sit at to eat.

It was comfortable and had a deck that looked out over a tributary of the Bay of Fundy. As an older motel, there was little sound buffering between rooms…we could hear the conversation of the couple in the room next to us. The bathroom was tiny and outdated. We opted to forego showers here.

Everything was great!

• kathleen (8/5): I certainly would stay again. - Pretty waterfront site. Comfortable bed. The room smelled musty. Needs a bath mat for the inside of the tub. The tub was very slippery. They need a place to lay your suitcase down, that isn’t on the floor.

• Ball (8/5): The Stars at Night are Big and Bright! - The little roadside motel has some charming features. The room is large. There’s a small but full kitchen and a shared barbecue grill outside.  The beds are comfortable, the WiFi is good. My favorite feature is the private deck that looks out onto the bay. From there, you can watch the tides rise and fall, listen to a serenade from the seagulls in the morning, and look at the stars at night.

• Kari (10/5): We absolutely loved the stay and we would recommend it to anybody - The property had a beautiful view of the ocean. The tides coming in and out were amazing. The room was really clean, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The only thing we can come up with is at the bathroom was a bit small, but it was very clean and still very useable

Actually, we couldn't sleep both nights that we been there and all of us have back pain after the visit. The shower is too small and needs renovations. And guys, you need to do something with sound isolation. It's really uncomfortable

Dispose d'une petite table intérieur, mais étrangement non équipé de chaises (pas pratique). En extérieur le logement dispose d'une terrasse. Mais lors de notre séjour, nous avons eu du mauvais temps et donc pas la possibilité d'en profité. La vue sur la mer est plutôt agréable. La douche un peu petite à mon gout.

The staff were environmentally conscious with a recycling and composting program, which I really appreciated. It was only 5 minutes from shopping in Digby and about 10 minutes from the ferry. Lack of soundproofing between rooms. Alas, this is not exclusive to this motel. i have stayed in many motels on my journey across Canada and they all have the same issue. Also, a really tiny shower.

No breakfast but had a frig and microwave. Very close to a grocery store and Digby. I was on motorcycle so did not like the gravel driveway.

Nothing fancy, but comfortable and convenient for a family with kids. Danielle was a gracious host. Shower is teeny tiny and you can easily hear guests in the rooms on either side.
