- Parth (10/5): A memorable stay with exemplary hosts - I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&B Le Manoir du vieux Presbytère, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The host’s hospitality was beyond compare, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. Their warmth and genuine care for their guests truly set the tone for a wonderful experience.
The manor itself was a sight to behold, exuding a classic charm while still maintaining impeccable condition. It was evident that the owners took great pride in its upkeep, creating a welcoming and comfortable ambiance.
The hosts both made and served us the best breakfast I’ve had so far on our road trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful escape with exceptional hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay special.

- carolen7 (10/5): Amazing Hospitality - We stayed one evening in this amazing bed and breakfast in August 2020. The owners are the most friendly couple and they have created an exceptionally beautiful environment for their guests. The service, location, rooms, cleanliness (including Covid 19 precautions) were all appreciated. It was my b-day and breakfast (which was a work of art between the fruits, freshly baked muffins and great cup of java) was served with a candle and a song. Quels souvenirs spéciaux. Highly recommend making plans to spend at least 2 nights at this wonderful spot. There are lots of hiking options in the area, along with other activities to fill the days.
- Gillian28 (10/5): Excellent stay during pandemic!!! - We stayed for 5 nights with our 4 children (aged 9-16). We had two beautiful suites on the 2nd floor, one for the parents, the other for the children, each with their own bathroom. Plenty of towels, which was great! The hosts were SO welcoming that our kids felt at home right away and loved being there! Originally, we were going to stay for 4 nights, but we extended for one more night. In the morning, the boys would go fishing right out front (unfortunately they didn't catch anything!) while others slept in. Breakfast was different each day with lots of fresh fruit artistically presented and really delicious!!! I loved sitting on the swing on the front veranda enjoying the view & the breeze. We really found it relaxing to be there and we will definitely go back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - excellent breakfast. Quiet location with nearby family restaurant within walking distance. Very friendly hosts
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Très bien

- bernadette (10/5): Étape pour tour Gaspésie - Tres bon accueil chaleureux
Belle chambre
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Propre, bien entretenu.
- Lynn (10/5): - It was a wonderful experience...the hosts were wonderful...the food tremendous...the best B and B experience I have ever had and I have travelled extensively
I will visit again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Accueil chaleureux, chambre spacieuse et pittoresque, déjeuner copieux.
- Ray (10/5): - Well kept Heritage building with great wrap around deck.
- 512glenng (10/5): Charming - Beautiful setting, nice view of the bay terrific old building. Proprietors work hard to make your stay easy. The place is super clean with newer fixtures, beds and linens. Breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend this B&B.
- 315joannel (8/5): Very nice Owners, warm but comfortable room - Really found the owners of this establishment to be very accommodating and nice. We called prior to arriving to ask a few questions about the room and the area and they kindly answered all of them for us. I specifically asked it their was air conditioning in the room and if not if it was hot. She said that they did not have air conditioning in the rooms but that there was some in the hallways and there were ceiling fans. It ended up being a very hot day and it was quite warm in the room but bearable..did not stop us from sleeping just not very cool. I really loved the high end towels, sheets and overall minimalist decoration in the room....very well done!! The breakfast in the morning was quite lovely and service very attentive. Will definitely recommend to others!
- Walter (10/5): - It’s an excellent stay in a nice quiet village. I highly recommend this quaint inn.
- Verified traveler (4/5): LIGHTS OUT 10:00 P.M. - Booked the last room available a day before our arrival. The host was gracious. Showed us a very tiny room with a straight back chair, an armoire, a full size bed & a twin. THe room was impeccably clean. However the beds were aged & sagging. Not having room or comfort in our room,we sought the common room hoping to watch t.v. & get the weather. No other guests were there. We planned our itinerary for the next day & watched t.v. With captions @ low volume. At 10:00 p.m. The owner locked the front door & turned off the outside lights saying " I have turned off the lights " not knowing this was code for " go to bed " I asked if there was something she wanted us to do ? She then said no one was to remain downstairs. Feeling like an errant child, we made our way to our room. Keep in mind, there was no television or comfy chair or comfortable bed. Certainly a first for us. Our three week tour of The Maritimes was amazing this was the only wrinkle in a perfect vacation. P.S. Hotel guests should be aware that cash is the only means of payment acceptable.
The morning breakfast was outstanding .
- ROBIN (8/5): - Lovely old building and our room which had a private bathroom and a nice sitting area was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Owners were very friendly & welcoming. One drawback is that there are not many choices in the area to have an evening meal.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect spot in Port Daniel - Wonderful welcome at the Manoir. The room was very pleasant, and the breakfast impeccable.
- Christina (8/5): Lovely B&B steeped in the history of the area - This charming B&B offers lovely vistas of the bay and tidal flats. The hosts were charming and breakfasts were lovely. I would stay there again if in the area.
If you do stop here you chou lad check out the museum in the community hall. Also there is a charming hidden hike over an old railway tunnel very near by.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great place to stay - Stayed here one night with my daughter. It was a great location to break up our tour of the Gaspesie. Pleasantly surprised by quality of this BnB. Very nice decore, great hosts and a great breakfast. Bed wasnt the most comfortable but ive had worst at other BnBs. At the time we stayed they did cash only which was a minor inconvenience as we had to drive into the next town over for an ATM. I'd stay here again.
- oksana (10/5): - Our family of 4 (2 children and 2 adults) had a wonderful vacation in the province of Quebec this summer. We booked this Hotel B&B not knowing ahead of time how different from regular hotels it will be.Old parish house still has elements of antiquity but in modern setting. Owners provide very welcoming and friendly atmosphere . Breakfasts were home made by the hostess and her husband with delicious croissants, waffles, fruits and coffee. Overall we felt like we are somewhere in Europe.Hotel is conveniently located on main Hyway some 70 km from famous tourist attraction village Perce.

- Serge (10/5): Perfect stay! - It was our first time at a B&B and was a very pleasant surprise! The room was super clean, breakfast was delicious and the area is really nice! Oh and the hosts were very friendly and helpful! Would recommand to anyone!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Matelas are really but really disapointing
Everything else was great!!!
- overlookBc (10/5): Great place to stay but reserve in advance - Great picturesque location with wonderful views . Small B&B in a historisVictorian type house. Was the priests home for the church next door. Beautifully restored and run by a wonderful couple. Breakfast tastefully done with personal care. Go up in behind the place and take your wine with serene ocean view or sit on the verandah and enjoy view of Port Daniel Bay.
- Carolyn (10/5): Welcoming & a piece of heaven - Absolutely wonderful! Our hosts Martine & Mario were welcoming, kind, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! Great cuisine & a wonderful way to start our day. Peaceful location, relaxing after a busy day. Hope to return soon! Best place ever!
- KIrk (10/5): - Martine and Mario are amazing hosts. The B&B is beautiful and the rooms are outstanding. The breakfast is wonderful. Highly recommend this property.
- Laura (10/5): Great place to stay in the Gaspésie! - Loved my stay here! It was very peaceful and relaxing, enjoyed sitting on the porch, and watching the sunset from my bay windows. I was lucky enough to get "Monseigneur" room! Thank you to my hosts, enjoyed my stay immensely
- 168garya (10/5): Long way to home - Easy to locate just a stone throw off the main road. Bring cash as no debt or credit. Mario and Martine were very gracious. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Could see the rooms being hot in the high heat though. Excellent deck to enjoy the evening. Breakfast was perfect.
- Rita (10/5): Port Daniel - This is an amazing B &B. Very friendly staff. Comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding Would definitely stay there ao
- csylvain (10/5): Perfect stop as you travel around the Gaspé Peninsula - My wife and I stayed one night at Le Manoir du Vieux Presbytère in Port-Daniel-Gascons while on a 2-week tour around Gaspésie last Summer and our memory of this one-night stop stands out to the point that we felt guilty since for not writing a review! The hosts, Martine and Mario, are warm and welcoming and put a lot of themselves in what amounts to a terrific experience for their guests. The setting for this inn is marvelous, being an old presbytery by a bay. Like other guests, we wished we'd stayed longer there. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast perfect, and everything smells great. We highly recommend it.
- Renee (10/5): Lovely old world charm. - The owners Martine and Mario were a delight. Warm, friendly and helpful. The Manoir has been lovingly tended to and it shows. Was very pleased to find a bathtub to soak in after the previous day's hike. Ahhhh.
Breakfast of homemade waffles and warm blueberry preserves was delightful! Thank you.
- Patricia (10/5): Great B & B. - We had a wonderful time.
Breakfast really good and a comfortable bed.
The owners very helpful and wonderful hosts.
- Laura (8/5): Beautiful, tranquil location. - Not far from Perce. Beautiful scenic route to get to B and B. Very hospitable hosts!
- mcsoliver (10/5): Our Final Stop on our Gaspesie Cycling Adventure - This was our final stop on our cycle around the peninsula and we saved the best for last! We had booked three rooms-all each unique and beautifully appointed. Attention to detail in this stunning accommodation was evident, and the breakfast was superb! Great lobster dinner at the restaurant down the road. Highly recommended!
- GiseleB793 (10/5): Simplement luxueux - Upon arrival we were greeted by the nicest couple, the owners. Part of the reason we choose B & B’s on our road trips is the contact we have with the owners, Martine and Mario were very welcoming and accommodating. We had a room in the tower overlooking the river. We sat at the table in the tower for a little while, enjoying a glass of wine from crystal wine glasses available in the room. We also sat on the wrap around porch just watching the lovely scenery. They made available to their guests a small kitchen with a fridge. An amazing breakfast was served in a lovely dining room; fresh fruit, homemade croissants served with homemade jams, cretons and pâté.
- Syb1956 (10/5): A fantastic B&B and wonderful hosts - My husband and I stayed one night at 'Le Manoir du Vieux Presbytere' in Port-Daniel when we travelled around Gaspesie and we wished we could have stayed longer. Martine and Mario are a very nice couple who are very hospitable and do everything to make their guests welcomed. There are many personal touches around their house and the breakfast is one of the best we ever had. There are fantastic views of the bay and the beach from almost every room in the house. The house is furnished with all authentic furniture. Everything is impeccable and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless. We highly recommend it.
- Graham53398 (10/5): Great place to stay for striped bass, seatrout and salmon fishing - A beautiful gite with very friendly hosts and a superb breakfast made by Martine. ( best shower on the Gaspesie ! ) A great location to explore fishing for striped bass, sea-trout and salmon. There is a nice walk up 257 steps that provides a view over the bay and is very peaceful, only the sounds of the birds .
- overlookBc (10/5): Beautiful place to stay on tour of Gaspe - Port Daniel is one of the prettiest villages on the Gaspe. About 1 hour from the touristic Perce Rock. Gite is located in a beautiful place with large verandah overlooking the bay. Wonderful hosts with great rooms. This place is a jewel. A don't miss stop and very well priced. Lots to do and see with some good places to eat in the area. Lovely walking areas .
