Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): The stay was great - Staff was great and it was 2mins from train station The bath room.could been little bigger im at big lad lol
- STUART (7/5): - It was cheap and cheerful. I could write a list of negatives but for 38 quid for me the wife and the little one it was worth it.
We came away relatively unscathed Blackpool
- Robin (1/5): What I was in Blackpool for was worth it I was alone so the room had to do - Very old property and the owners only want the money , taken over by Pakistanis like a lot round Blackpool and they don’t give a shit only the money I new what I paid so just got on with it , it was very convenient for where I needed to be
- Ian (3/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! - If anyone has the pleasure of staying in room #1 please be aware the door DOES NOT LOCK. Don't bother asking for the TV remote - because it doesn't work as there is no aerial connected. If you like the sound of dripping water - you will love this room as the shower is hanging off the wall and drips water every 10 seconds. Also if you are a big person and you want to use the loo - be careful as you manoeuvre yourself to sit down as a well positioned metal toilet roll holder will rip into your right thigh. Also only 1 light out of three work in the toilet - so when this bulb goes you will be taking a shower and a shit in the dark. Apart from all this the bed was comfortable enough ... Oh and there are very strange smells of shit that waft through the hotel.
- sara (10/5): -
- jasmime (1/5): - Owner was lovely The rooms where a bit outdated and there was alot of noise and mess in the rooms also the police where called because of people fighting on the landing and trying to get into our rooms where we had children.
- Andrew (8/5): Nice stay great staff -
- Annie (8/5): Lads night away watching Chubby! - Perfect location for the pier as watching Chubby. The tv's too small especially when positioned across the room.

- Lee (6/5): - Was cheap u get what u pay for. Seen no staff ring the number no answer had no hot water to have shower. Room was freezing also the over flow from boil was leaking out right by the window for 2 day was very loud at night so didn't sleep. Says bar on site but bar was closed with nothing on..
- Elise (4/5): Fair - Staff friendly It needed blind's that fit the window as they didn't cover half the window

- dawn (1/5): Disgusting - Nothing. The place was filthy, staff not got a clue how to run a hotel, beds mouldy and not right bedding on beds. I had to find somewhere else to sleep
- Deborah (10/5): - Easy to find clean. Room was a good size clean bedding found no issues with what I asked for.
Cheap to stay there no limit on time you can come in during night. Staff very helpful and friendly Climbing stairs only because of my knees
- david (1/5): - Nothing Everything
- Buntain (1/5): -
- Ben (1/5): Vomit on the wall next to the toilet - Location is near the train station Oh my god. This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Blackpool is notoriously bad for hotels but this really has outdone itself. The bathroom was covered in mould and there was still vomit next to the toilet

- Graham (2/5): -
- Brooksbank (1/5): - Nothing staff attacked my husband Dirty bed was wet need closing down
- Marsden (2/5): -
- Daniel (1/5): I want a refund - do NOT stay here! - Nothing This used to be a go-to hotel for me - never again! I left the same day and stayed at another hotel.
The towel provided was damp and had brown stains on it though the manager did provide a clean one when I asked. The extractor fan in the bathroom needs fixing - it emits a loud screeching screaming sound so painful I ended up showering with the light off. The door latch was very loose and flimsy and there was one chap lurking around who was clearly on drugs. I did not feel safe here or feel my things would be safe here so I managed to find a better alternative hotel. I will NEVER stay here again and do not recommend to anyone
- gemma (1/5): we didnt end up staying - The hotel is in a good location. It is near the train station, as well as clubs and bars if your coming for a night out. The condition of the hotel was completely unacceptable. The room was extremely dirty: the bedding was unclean, the cups and spoons hadn’t been washed, and there was visible mould on the ceilings and walls. There was genuine dirt throughout the room, and the smell was overwhelming.
Despite this, I approached reception to give the hotel an opportunity to resolve the issues. The staff showed no interest in helping. I was told they could not move me to another room and that any refund would have to be requested through Booking.com. There was no apology or acknowledgement of the situation.
On top of the cleanliness concerns, one of the beds didn’t even have pillows, the shower didn’t work, and there was no hand soap provided. The overall condition of the room was disgusting, and the staff made no effort to listen or assist.
In the end, we left the hotel and went elsewhere. After requesting a refund through Booking.com, the staff said they had accepted it, but I still haven’t received my money.
Lastly, this is not as described online at all!! The bar downstairs wasn't in use; everywhere was cluttered and dirty too, not just the room. There was no warm welcome, nothing.
- Reid (1/5): - Damp all over the walls
- Jos (1/5): Nasty haunted house - Absolutely nothing The room i was given had a puddle of rainwater. Couldn't lock the door. Moldy room and dirty sheets.
When asked to move to another room thay said all booked out when the whole place was clearly empty. Took me to another room with the lock broken like someone forced and entry. It was like a horror story. The place should not be running a hotel.
- Lewis (10/5): - Very helpful staff, nice room
- Charlie (10/5): -
- Michelle (2/5): - Location what we needed Broken tv Broken sockets missing curtain .old beds
- Andrew (1/5): Refund please - Location great! Shown the room , stinks of cannabis, bathroom filthy i acctually handed in my keys that night I checked in and slept in my van absolutely disgusting and would appreciate a refund.
- Anthony (2/5): - Nothing The list is too long it's not great but you get what you pay for.
- Gary (1/5): - Nothing Everything
- Nicola (1/5): Disappointed with the hotel - Rooms cold only a few slats of blinds in the window and one very small side window curtain mold around the shower orange dust on the window sill beds uncomfortable
- Keith (1/5): Wouldnt recommend this place at all - Luckily we didnt book breakfast. God only knows whst we would have got
- Danny (6/5): Pleasant - Got what u paid for Beds need replacing
- Mark (1/5): - Very run down Nothing
- ROBERT (1/5): Not worth the money property is a disgrace - Only positive was the location Dirty room old shabby bedding, bathroom unclean milk 3 months out of date.
- Mark (7/5): Great for a night or two - Breakfast Very good and value for money
- John (4/5): - It is handy for the train station was not told my room was next door, friends room also leaked in a bit
- Simon (1/5): - Nothing
- Olga (5/5): For one night it’s doable - Owner let us check in early which was good. Good location and cheap. Room was really small compared to photos. Didn’t have any toiletries or hairdryer as advertised. Shower was extremely dirty and mouldy, toilet was also dirty. Walls are like standard cheap hotel, cracked.
- Kirsty (9/5): We all would book to Stay again - Friendly an helpful
Perfect location
- Aimee-Leigh (1/5): Avoid at all costs. Absoloutely not for families. - The staff that was in charge (told to be the cleaner) was friendly and polite and did his best. The whole hotel.
The rooms and hotel looked nothing like the advertised photos. For example, the wardrobe shown online was, in reality, just a bar attached to the wall.
There was no manager or reception staff on site — only a cleaner who appeared to be running the hotel.
The hotel was advertised as having a bar, which was closed. The man on site kindly allowed us free drinks, but it was clear he had no idea what to do.
No towels were provided, even though the listing stated they would be.
No kettle was provided as advertised, and the mugs available were absolutely filthy.
The blinds were broken and needed replacing, letting sunlight in all night and preventing proper rest.
The bed mattresses had visible mould on them.
The furniture was old, damaged, and in need of replacement. Such as the beds that had holes in them.
The room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned — there were nail clippings and hair on the floor.
The toilet did not flush properly and made a constant leaking noise throughout the night. (Thank you to the man who greeted us for explaining this to us but still not acceptable your renting a room out knowing this).
Provided a TV but with no remote and when asked “we don’t know where it is”.
Despite being advertised as a family hotel, the property allowed groups of young adults to party until 5 a.m., smoking cannabis and making excessive noise. There were no staff on site to report this to, only an “emergency number,” which was inappropriate for such a situation. Having 2 young children at 1&3 years old, this was not an ideal place to be staying in with this atmosphere.
Another family staying above us had to leave their room because it flooded due to poor maintenance of facilities.
Check-out was clearly stated as 10:30 a.m. (both online and on posters in the hallway), yet someone knocked on our door at 10:00 a.m. asking when we were leaving.
Overall, the experience was completely unacceptable.
- Christine (3/5): Breakfast lovely/ stay was disappointing - Breakfast was spot on
Host was attentive
Bed comfy
Lovely pillows The room looked nothing like the photos and I would have chosen this place if they did.
It was not at all clean.. the cups, sink, shower, bathroom, skirting boards, doors, walls
Kettle was in the floor
I was very disappointed
Bathroom window couldn’t close so was open all night and very noisy
Main window in bedroom closed but may as well of been open as you could hear everything
Other residents were noisy
I was kept awake all night
- Michaela (3/5): - TVs didn’t work in the room and wasn’t the cleanest either. But the staff were friendly
- Irene (1/5): Worst hotel I've ever stayed in!! - There was absolutely nothing i liked in the hotel, but the location was perfect for the train station and a 10 min walk to Winter Gardens Paid extra for a family room on 1st floor, was told on arrival someone has got it before you! Let me check your email to see what you asked for , he read it out and it said 3 beds not bunk on 1st floor. The email i had said the family room was 1 double and 2 single which was perfect. We were shown to a room on 2nd floor which hadn't been cleaned yet the sheets were disgusting, after going back an hour later the owner said good news there's a room on 1st floor which was great because I have 2 hip replacements and my friends struggle with stairs too. The room had 1 bunk , 1 double bed and a cot , the room wasnt really adequate, no batteries in tv remote, no plug in sink, shower base was filthy, although it smelled clean i didn't fancy sleeping in the bed after seeing the sheets in the other room and it was only 1 night so we slept on top of the cover. The radiator looked like it was nicotine stained obviously from a while ago, bits hanging of the ceiling, the kettle looked disgusting inside and the towels did not smell clean they were musty!! This was room 4 if anyone else is unlucky enough to get it. The carpets were disgusting too and the bannister wasnt clean it was sticky. I declined breakfast , the cleanliness wasnt very good in the rooms so dread to see what the kitchen was like .
- Jo (3/5): manager awesome- property falling to bits needs money invested - staff were amazing and breakfast was lovely- can't fault the manager at all, did his very best to help Whoever the owner is, needs a kick up the backside- plumber needed to fix broken taps, no handwash above sinks so when you bend to wash face/brush teeth, you hit your head off the dangerous empty stands on the wall- black mould all over showers and bathrooms, electrics in one room meant no lights, light switch loose and sparking and that was a family room... absolutely ridiculous. 6 of us checked in- 5 checked straight back out and paid extra for a different hotel
- Fay (5/5): Was fine for the price and time we were there for - Staff friendly, good location to the sea Not very clean and beds uncomfy
- ROBERT (3/5): Aweful - Nothing Dirty toilet uht milk 3 months out of date. Bedding so worn it was discoloured . Over all dated and unpleasant. Fob didn't work and difficulty getting in or answer.
- Kevin (7/5): -
- Jody (9/5): Friendly and affordable ! - Staff were excellent, very friendly. Stayed together with friends and it was in the perfect location for what we needed it for. Affordable hotel Would definitely book again 🫶 thanks very much N/a
- david (9/5): -
- Robert (8/5): Sweet - Friendly staff
- Jennifer (5/5): - Location Was very cold , dated
- PaulHi (2/5): -
- Norcross (2/5): Major disappointment - Staff was polite and it was near where we were going Room wasn't as requested, we were given what was left.
Both doors to the room wouldn't lock. One was permanently open slightly so they put a single bed in front of it. The main one could be pushed open so wasn't secure. Main light in the second room was smashed and barely any lights worked.
The double bed had the double duvet as the sheet and the duvets from the 2 single as the top. Didn't do alot to help keep warm in a very cold room.
- Mark (5/5): Really nice staff. - Not the best place I've ever stayed, but for the money it was fine..
Good value for just one night.
Everything we needed was there, for one night.
Great location for bars and clubs. If you want whistles and bells this is not the place for you .
The staff were friendly and helpful Room was cold. Heater provided.
A bit run down and rough around the edges.
- david (5/5): - Close to where we wanted to be Shower was naff
Bedding was poor
Heating went off...so was cold during night
Bathroom window wouldn't close considering it was freezing outside
- Dean-gill (1/5): Stay well clear - Nothing.dirty rooms.showers full of mould .2out 6 room doors would not lock.holes in walls . none of the TVs worked. Would have walked out but with it been new year's eve impossible to find 6 more rooms anywhere else Everything
- Heather (5/5): - The location No bar open when it's advertised
- mat (1/5): Booked somewhere else straight away - Do not book this hotel.
Booking.com should be ashamed to advertise this in their website Filthy
- Hayley (1/5): Worst experience in a hotel - Nothing It was freezing cold, no heating, we had 3 little plug in heaters(they were also broke) and it was still cold, window wouldn’t shut properly so there was constant draft, 3 tvs in the room and not one of them we could use, bathroom was mouldy, one of the beds had a huge dip in it, really wasn’t a good experience to have when you have 3 kids with you, the room was nothing like the pictures shown on booking.com
- Sarah (2/5): - Location Very cold. No towels. No cups
- Kevin (1/5): - Will not go again at all Kevin
- Rachael (1/5): Filthy!!!!! - Absolutely nothing DO NOT BOOK!!!! The place is filthy, if it hadnt of been so late and we hadnt got our 1 year old with us we wouldnt of stayed here. We had a family room for 4 that for some reason had 2 double beds and 2 singles. There is no heating on in the whole building it was freezing, i went to ask for our radiator on cuz of the little one but all he could do was give me a little blow heater. The bedding looked like it hadnt been changed, every bit of furniture was falling apart, the bathroom was disgusting, it definitely hadnt been cleaned as we discovered when lifting the toilet seat up and the shower was full of mould. The windows are broken so drafts coming through constantly. There was 3 tv's in the room but not one had a remote. There wasnt anything about this accommodation that was positive. It needs condemning
- Bridget (8/5): -
- Joanne (1/5): -
- Julie (4/5): Very poor run hotel - Near to train station Heating didn’t work. Advised a bar but didn’t have one . The room were freezing because the heating system didn’t work
- Jason (7/5): -
- Julie (1/5): Awful - Nothing Damp . Smells . Wallpaper hanging off . Sorry could not stay
- Susan (10/5): Relaxing and well worth the visit. - Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Clean room x Nothing
- Jayne (5/5): -
- shirley (1/5): -
- Paige (1/5): - Nothing! The place was disgusting. The man is rude. Avoid!! Everything. Blood all over the place. All furniture is broken!
Mould all over! Wouldn't even let my dog stay here!!
- kaylea (1/5): -
- Dean (1/5): -
- Sadie & Mark Holidays (1/5): -
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Barry (1/5): Absolutely horrible. Rooms was so grotty. - Location Our room was filthy
- JANE (1/5): Avoid - filthy - Location It was filthy and very smelly.
The room carpet was dirty, full of bits. The ceiling was badly stained, all surfaces were thick with dust. There was a kettle but no coffee etc and the 2 cups and spoon were dirty from previous people. The wardrobe had sticky spillages in the bottom. The bathroom was dirty and thick with mould, broken and stained blinds, no toilet roll. Toilet seat old and stained
We didn't even unpack it was so bad, we left within half hour
- Annemarie (3/5): Time of year November expected room to have some heating, 2nd day about it was given a small heater - Location very good Room was freezing no heating had to go to bed fully dressed
TV did not work
Wi-Fi very very weak one bar.
- Ralph (1/5): - The room had no curtains, broken blinds, mess all over the window ledge, mould in the bathroom and crumbs in the bed. The heating didn't work. In the end we did t even stay we packed up and left
