- Bonnie (8/5): Nice location…a larger bed is required to make for a more comfortable stay. - Great location. Would appreciate a larger bed…at least should be a queen size bed. The condo could be better equipped….for example…we stayed for 3 nights..3 coffee packets were provided…how about a couple more packets for an afternoon coffee…the only spices were salt and pepper…maybe a couple more, garlic powder and Greek seasoning would have been great.

So we called Monday evening, were told someone would come around the next day. We had a person home all day and the next day, but no one came. No follow-up phone call. Disappointing response.
- Jeffrey (6/5): Cozy apartment style, 7 minutes walk from the base but could use some revamping. - Location was fantastic, it was a cozy little apartment 7 minutes walk from the base of the mountain. As I mentioned it was cozy but very outdated and needs to be revamped. Not a total overhaul but the furniture was old and ripped the log style double bed was awful including pillows. Each morning at 6am was a parade walking above you as the soundproofing has diminished over the years.

The shared facilities could use an upgrade or deep cleaning. The hot tubs looked dirty and one had broken tiles around the edge.

- Carley (9/5): Unforgettable family trip to Fernie! - The location was great, in particular the King Fir building was perfect for easily enjoying the pool and hot tub. The host was wonderful and very responsive when I inquired about shuttle passes to downtown Fernie. Overall, the studio suite was cozy and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with the basics for cooking all of our meals. We could easily walk to the Fernie Alpine Resort, though not quite a ski-in/ski-out. The queen bed and sofa bed were not the most comfortable. After 4 nights I was ready to be back in my own bed. Also, we were unable to get the satellite working and the TV sound was very muffled. Not sure if the TV needs to be replaced. Overall the TV was not an issue for us as we were exhausted from skiing all day!

Irresponsible of the property and perhaps indicative of how little they actually care about people and their community. We understood the cancellation policy regarding the accommodation costs but it's absurd and a rip-off to charge 1/4 of the total cost (over $200!) for a cleaning fee when the property isn't being used. Requests for refund have been repeatedly ignored. Some of the worst customer service we've ever experienced.

- Kaleb (6/5): - We arrived at the room for our trip. We got the the elevator and a father the 4 young kids got stuck in the elevator roughly for half hour. It was a run around to get ahold of some body. For the rest of our trip we dd not use the elevator and told others not to use it.

It is almost a basement style room right across from some parking, so people leaving early AM for hiking or biking some of their car lights go directly into the room. Would recommend additional curtains, or if you are staying there, maybe an eye mask. There is no A/C either, so we had to have the windows open, and the trains coming through were continually blowing the train whistle. Would recommend having some fans available at least so we could have closed the windows to avoid being woken up by that at night. All things not necessarily within the facilities' control but just a couple of things that could be available in the suite to make it a touch better.

The counters were not wiped and the floors were dirty, there were also dirty towels still in our bathroom
- Zoe (8/5): Great option for families. All essentials for cooking provided (note, no cooking spray, paper towels), and the hot tubs - The property was great! We liked being out of the town and loved the hot tubs. The apartment was modern, though the building was not. The apartment was spacious and mostly clean. We loved the patio and the two bathrooms. The common areas outside the apartment were quite old and not kept up (ex the game room had one flickering light). The bathrooms were clean, however, my toddler grabbed the toilet brush and dirty toilet water (about 5-8 cups) poured all over the floor and left a nasty sewer smell. There should not be dirty toilet water in the brush holder, especially that amount. The television also was very hard to navigate - 4 remotes, and the cable stopped working completely. The Netflix account wasn’t up to date so wouldn’t work either. The kids room was also quite hot, though we were grateful for the air conditioner in the main bathroom.

- Mathew (4/5): - The condo was nice and clean. My only complaint about the actual condo was we couldn’t get the dishwasher to work. The pool and hot tubs were really dirty. The kids wouldn’t go in the pool because there were worms in it. The hot tub by the pool wasn’t hot. The hot tub near the room was hot and it was clean the first 2 days but on the 3rd day it was very dirty. Also it wasn’t ski in ski out, we had to drive to the hill which we didn’t mind. Maybe without ski boots on and all our gear we would walk but it’s too hard with all the gear.

- Krysten (10/5): - Our stay was wonderful and property is great! It isn’t really ski in ski out as advertised though, as it is definitely a hefty walk uphill, so driving to the parking lot is the easier way to go, otherwise with no vehicle the walk is intense and not the most doable.

Only two small issues: we couldn't get the gas fireplace working and there was no paper towel provided in the kitchen. Otherwise it was perfect. Would stay at Timberline Lodges again.

Comfortable and warm Check in process, arrived late so difficult to find the right building and the door code emailed to me was incorrect so couldn’t access the apartment. Bins not emptied from previous guests

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not Getting Moneys Worth - The late checkin / early checkout is frustrating and makes a one night stay ridiculous. Overall the quality of the furniture in the unit was poor and very worn down - with highly frayed armrests on the two lounge chairs - the picnic table style dining table was odd. The TV was maybe 15" in diameter. The "kitchen" basically lacked any cooking utensils, pots or pans, etc. A "kitchen" should have at least three pans, two pots, a roasting pan, mixing bowls, appropriate knives and utensils, etc. This was almost completely lacking, and the carrot peeler was abysmal—one of the worst I have used—with an extremely loose handle. Overall cleanliness seemed poor, especially the carpet. As my father in law stated you could "spit through the toilet paper". The electronic lock was also quite temperamental and would typically take four or five tries to open. At the price we paid per night we felt it was of very poor value and definitely would not stay there again. Location was great!

- TripleJ (10/5): Wonderful Christmas getaway! - The spruce building was perfect! We had everything we needed for our Christmas vacation! We brought stuff to make our Christmas meal. But all we would have needed was the food. They had every utensil and even baking pans etc! The cutest coffee mugs were also a nice touch! They had towels specific for the pool/hot tubs which was also great! The beds were super comfy and it had the best mountain views! Great proximity to the hill.. within walking distance and If the path wouldn’t have been icy. We could have skied right back to the door!

- PAUL ANDRE (10/5): - The kitchen was well stocked with amenities and accessories (microwave with real/actual venting, full size fridge with freezer, dishwasher, blender, strainer, aeropress, prlerculator, double sink, wine glases, tumblers, cork screw, and more). Also stocked with garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, bath towels, a vacuum, dish soap, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash). There wasn't a lot of closet space (only closet is locked with the owners stuff in it -I'd probably do the same if the place was mine and I was renting it out) and the lighting was dim, so bring headlamps and lots of batteries. Unfortunately the ski lockers don't fit skis and snowboards of/for a 6'4" man. Don't forget your flipflops for the hot tub.
- Mark (10/5): - 202 was well furnished, everything was updated and looked nice. Had everything in the kitchen we needed to cook and make. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds and games cabinet. The queen bed was small and uncomfortable, I would not stay again on that bed. Bathrooms were nice and I loved the sauna right across the hall.
