However none of the food prep. equipment advertised in the listing were available to us. There are only some public seating area, but no sink or cooking utensils making the only viable food option to be the restaurant on site.

OSAMA (8/5): - We originally had a reservation at another hotel, but the night before our trip, they contacted us saying they were overbooked. Since we had already finalized our travel plans, we scrambled to find alternative accommodations and were fortunate to find one last available spot at Conestoga Ranch. We arrived at the ranch around 2 PM, although check-in wasn't until 4 PM. Our wagon wasn’t ready yet, so we waited outside the main office, which had refreshingly cool air—a welcome relief from the hot summer day. Thankfully, our wagon was ready by 3 PM. This was our first time staying in a non-hotel, glamping-style setting, and it was quite a unique experience. The wagon was just as described on the website: a large bed, a bunk bed for two, a small table, and two chairs. It was clean and well-maintained. However, note that there is no air conditioning in the wagon. There is a small fan and a heater. While the bed was very comfortable, the wagon becomes extremely hot from noon to around 7 PM—it’s best to plan outdoor activities during this time. In contrast, it stays cool in the morning and quite cold overnight. We never used the heater, but they did provide very warm and cozy blankets. Conestoga Ranch offers free bicycles and outdoor games, but both could use some updating. The bikes are functional and well-maintained but clearly outdated. Some games are still in good shape, but many were broken. That said, the playground was a big hit with our child—she had a blast running around

My family fell in love with the corn hole games and the other outdoor games. It was a fun, easy way to start the day and end the day outside together. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights we were there and loved it.

Sharon (8/5): - Conestoga is a fun place place and unique experience. They provide wood and ingredients for s'more and we enjoyed the own campfire. The tent is spacious and the beds are comfortable. We were surprised that we had to park our car away from our tent and have our luggage transported by golf cart. However, they were efficient about picking us up when we texted. The bathrooms are nice and clean. It was a bit of a walk to the bathroom if you need to go in the middle of the night. Overall a fun and unique experience.
Marilyda (10/5): - So lovely. One night stay here, but I’d love to go back and stay again. I enjoyed sleeping in the covered wagon with our family of six. Beds were comfy, and bedding felt luxurious. Fresh air wafting through all night. Blankets kept me nice and toasty. Bathrooms clean. Lots of private showers. Game room was so much fun—basketball, ping pong, shuffleboard, air hockey, and one arcade game. Playground. Volleyball net. Ladder ball. Corn hole. Roping practice. Penned horses next door were beautiful to watch. They are communal campfires. There are only so many Adirondack chairs around them, so we went to the gas fueled fire in front of the restaurant, and made s’mores with the ingredients they provided. My kids weren’t impressed with the graham crackers, but they still ate them. We really loved the bikes they have available to borrow! (Check for flats and loose parts first.) We checked out the town on our bikes, and even went to dinner at La Beaus on them. Raspberry and huckleberry flavors were our favorites. So many shake flavors and places in town! Muddy Buddy and raspberry flavors next door at Zips also great. Bear Lake is fabulous. We stayed in the area three more nights. We brought along paddle boards and waited until evening when the wind died down to less than 12mph to enjoy. Also rented e-bikes. We enjoyed four hours on a pontoon boat, with tube and seadoo. Expensive, but probably everyone’s favorite memory from the trip. That, or ultimate frisbee with cousins.

Adam (4/5): - Could not sleep people outside by the fire all night being extremely loud, they don’t enforce the quiet hour. And you can hear the road noise since it’s right next to a major UTv trail. There’s no AC m the unit so it’s hot. The stuff to play with outside is mostly broken. They didn’t have a key for us to lock up so we had to leave our stuff unsecured in the wagon. It’s a fun idea for a place but not being able to sleep for $300 a night is bad

Justin (6/5): - Certainly a unique experience! For the price of a good size tent and equipment, you can have 1 night in the 6 person tent. Our tent was fun, great view and comfortable (for a tent). I was very disappointed that they grind you with their rules, which we followed, but our neighbors didn't. They were super load well past 11pm. Remember, you're in a canvas tent, not a hotel room so you hear everything. Not too mention the dog. Barking at my kids as they walk by??? They have in writing "a very strict pet policy" but again, don't enforce it. For $650 a night, i expected more.
Cyndie (10/5): one night in a wagon - We had a severe thunder/wind storm roll through and thankfully the tents and wagon handle it with no problems. We ended up using the furnace during the night and it worked great. The restaurant onsite Campfire Grill was delicious ( very good). We had dinner and breakfast there. It was fun staying in the wagons and the beds were very comfortable. All in all we had a great time, and would highly recommend it.

Damonica (8/5): Conestoga Ranch - Get away. - Loved the place. I think that the restrooms/showers could have been cleaned more. A couple of the bathroom ran out of paper towels, trash was over flowing. The weeds around the tents could have been mowed down a little more. More shaded areas or some trees. The maintenance guy with the beard wore a hat-didn't get his name was awesome he was very helpful and attentive. Friendly man.. First night ate at the restaurant that was very good. The pricing for the food was very reasonable. Thank you, Conestoga Ranch we are letting others know to check out your establishment.. Will return again.. The only reason I did not give all 5 stars is because no one/company is perfect..

robin (8/5): - I liked that the Conestoga Ranch was in close proximity to everything that we wanted to do. The grounds were kept clean and the bathrooms/shower facilities were always clean. I liked that the staff started the campfires on request and supplied the wood. i did think that the cost was high. The heat was so bad that you really could not go into the wagons until night fall. It would have been nice to have a rec room or someplace to be rescued from the heat. Staying in the heat for the entire day was pretty rough. I do realize this is a campsite, but for the cost, I would have appreciated somewhere on site to cool down. Would go again, but not in July.
Julianne (10/5): Awesome, unique, but not perfect... - Unique accommodation experience. Beautifully kept grounds, friendly service. They drive you in a golf cart to your tent or wagon, so your car is a short walk back down near check in, so you do have to take everything with you. Very nice, individual toilets and shower rooms unlike a conventional campground, however; the bathrooms never seemed just cleaned. And for the cost, you'd expect round the clock, immedaite type maintenance. Overflowing garbage pails, wet floors from previous use of the shower, etc. Acceptable, just not for the price. Fire pit right outsdie your tent for use with complimentary firewood. Family loved it, although it must be extinguished by 11PM. I would stay again , but at half the price of a less popular travel date.
Shaun (10/5): - I liked the central layout of the property. Everything is very walkable. It has a small general store on site next to the reception area. It has a restaurant on site. there is a game area, spa facilities available. (I didn't use the spa due to time limits on my part.) The area felt safe, and I enjoyed the ambience.

Meredith (8/5): Cute novelty to try! - Staying in a covered wagon was definitely a unique experience! As for comfort...screen on the door was torn so full door had to be closed to keep bugs out and opening the window required climbing on the bed, so running the fan was a must even though it was a cool night. Staff couldn't find our wagon at first and didn't tell us about any of the services offered so I feel like we may have missed out on fun opportunities but we were only there one night anyway. Clean restrooms with much more privacy than a typical campground/KOA. Not as remote as I imagined from the pictures, so it's easy to access Bear Lake, restaurants, and other essentials. Lawn games and bikes were fun to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit, just ask questions when you arrive!

We ended up staying in the Tent for 6 as it had a private bath. OUR GROUP LOVED IT. The site is family operated and someone is always onsite, till closing hours. They were very accommodating and helped in any way possible. We were trying to cook something in the public picnic area but due to reasons unknown(user error) we were not having much luck. The owner let us borrow his butane camping stove. Staff was a combination of local kids and professionals. We loved this mix, as it shows they are vested in their community and are supported. Will definitely stay here again.

The earwigs are ALL over and huge spiders in OUR BEDS on the ceilings are too much for me to handle. I can’t even sleep. I keep killing them as they crawl on in our beds. It’s so gross!
Justin (8/5): - It was nice except the tents where extremely hot would be nice if it had some sort of air flow or a a/c unit but it was still good the towels left lint all over you when they where used. Other than these it was a way nice and friendly place to stay.
