Guest Reviews
- Delores Ann (9/5): I would stay there again. - Breakfast was nice and delivered to my room each morning. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with arranging transportation. We enjoyed the two dinners we had in the restaurant. There were a few ants in the room and the bedspread was dirty in spots. The internet was slow, going in and out.
- Eftim (10/5): Like at home - Location is excellent, since it is close to bus station, to supermarket, to the beaches. Employees in Fourways Inn are great, and I will recommend this to my colleagues and friends. Food and complete service was excellent. The weather was not perfect :-) , but this probably usual for this time of the year.
- Jocelyn (8/5): - Property is nice it’s just outdated
- Kelly (8/5): -
- Kay_travel (9/5): - Spacious room with a fridge, kettle, Nespresso machine and a microwave.
Breakfast in the room with fruit and pastries - always on time and brought by friendly staff
The rooms are part of the Cottage Colony, small houses that are strewn across the property Reception is only available at certain times. On check out day, it wasn't until 11.- 11.30 that I found someone.
- cristina (8/5): - Very clean and quaint, Charming. The bed was absolutely awful but until I said something we were able to change rooms they are going to be renovated very soon with brand new beds furniture and linens. Alex the property manager was just marvelous and Andy was very very nice too! Both very very accommodating
- Brian (8/5): -

- ursula (10/5): Wonderful! - Sun buffet lunch outstanding Nothing
- Brian (10/5): - Beautiful cottage in a central location. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast
- CAITLIN M (8/5): - Bedspread needs to be replaced.
Patio with table and chairs was nice.
- William (10/5): We will be coming back! - Great staff, very good value, good location near to Darrells wharf and handy for the ferry. Also on the pink bus route only 15 mins into town.
- Claudio (8/5): Una isola particolare - Mare bellezza dei luoghi albergp La necessità di muoversi sempre in taxi con lunghe attese e costi eccessivi
- Doris (8/5): - Amazing people
- Lynn (8/5): - Public bus stops very dirty -be better if Inn would provide pickup to and from airport- pool was very dated tile broken and black mold up under the sides -the information books inside the room are outdated for most everything - suites should provide air oven for cooking purposes as we could not afford to eat in the restaurant or the Inn guests should get a good 50% discount to eat in restaurants
- Richard (10/5): - 5star restaurant. Try the Sunday brunch.
- Graham (8/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): What an amazing stay. - If you want to not feel like you’re surrounded by a bunch of tourists and want a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing place to stay with excellent customer service that feels like a bed & breakfast, this is the place to stay.
Andreas seemed to almost always be working and available, whether for helpful information or conversation. The individualized attention quickly set this place apart from a mega resort. The other kinds of guests who stay here are quiet and respectful, and the only time you knew if anyone else was there was looking at everyone eat breakfast from their balconies or patios.
The location of Fourways is near a bus stop and in the middle of Bermuda, making it easy to explore as much as you want. It’s also within walking distance of the Railway Trail, especially great for running. There are some restaurants and a take out spot within walking distance.
The on-site restaurant is also delicious for a splurge meal. Locals all told us how great the restaurant was, and we even met people who had gone there on their honeymoon years ago. We did not try any of the paid breakfasts but happily took the delivered fruit, pastry, and coffee each morning.
I would highly recommend this place, even if some of the photos are grainy because they don’t do it justice.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid at all cost. - Check in person had no clue how to check the reservation. To put a card of file for incidentals they wrote it on a piece of paper.
Room was not clean. Door was rusted. Insects everywhere.
The 'free' continental breakfast is a joke. They gave 4 pieces of fruit, 6 tiny pastries with coffee for two adults and one infant.
We asked for a crib. They gave a crib with no bkanket or pillow.
The restaurant is over priced and portions are small. I guess thats how they can give one of the chepest rooms by getting you on the food.
- stuhulley (10/5): Four Ways Hotel - Superb experience - This is a superb hotel: great location, quiet, well appointed, picturesque, lovely pool area and very good value. It also has a very good restaurant. Finally, thank you to Alex and Andreas for excellent customer service. Very highly recommended hotel.
- Andrea (10/5): Great place with a personal vibe - Our stay at Fourways Inn was great. Huge room with a great view. Breakfast was brought to us on a tray every morning, with fresh food and delicious pastries. This hotel only has 11 rooms, so we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. We hired E-bikes while we were in Bermuda and the lovely hotel managers Alex and Andreas made sure we had a safe place to keep and charge them overnight. They were very knowledgable about Bermuda and always ready to give advice about local destinations. Would definitely recommend.
- Ruth (8/5): Very good - Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Fabulous restaurant. Spacious and well equipped room. Lovely pool. Everything looks a bit tired but understand that will be dealt with soon. Gloomy bar. No Al fresco eating or drinking space despite lovely gardens
- Racquel (10/5): - Staff amazing. Customer service, top tier. Loved that it was tucked away to a peaceful oasis. Would definitely book again
- Gerald (10/5): - Excellent staff. Rooms very comfortable but decor dated back to the nineties. Excellent location and easy to get around.
- Janet (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Fantastic - Excellent stay would highly recommend
- Jurij (10/5): - Excellent place to stay. Great service, lovely well-kept grounds, and very friendly staff. Easy access to public transit.
- Sonia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent. There is nothing to comment about.
- Laurie (10/5): - Thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay.
- Corday (8/5): Very good - I Liked everything Im getting old and I didnt like the steps. Would have preferred to be on ground level
- Alla (10/5): - I enjoyed my continental breakfast being brought to my cottage every morning. Very polite service.
- Nicholas (6/5): - Room I stayed in had visible mold. The tile grout was stained and deteriorated throughout the unit. There was also dead ants throughout the unit.
- Patricia (10/5): Wonderful Stay! - Wonderful stay in Bermuda at Fourways! Clean room. Spacious. Amenities were good. Only small issue…TV system was not explained. Had to call desk on 2nd day to get instructions. Would have been nice to have instructions printed out and placed in room welcome materials.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect place to stay - This is a return stay for me. Inn is located centrally in Bermuda, so you can go in either direction on the island. Staff is wonderful. The highlight is dinner in the restaurant! Four star service and fabulous food!
- William (8/5): - Attractive grounds, convenient location, and a great restaurant.
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clarence (2/5): - The staff is ABSOLUTELY horrible! Please do not stay here! Take your money elsewhere! Especially the hotel manager Alex! They are rude, inconsiderate and very unwilling to help. I must have called 7-8 times for help and emailed 4 times to which no reply was given. Please spend hour money elsewhere.
- Robert (10/5): - Always a great stay! Fantastic local hospitality!
- Eri (8/5): - The room was wide and clean, not so new though.
- Nancy (10/5): - The staff were great, from front desk to housekeeping and breakfast service. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, and the view was lovely. We enjoyed having the small refrigerator and microwave and dishes for easy meals in or re-heating.
We ate at the restaurant one night and it was amazing! Fish chowder, pan fried snapper were really good, and the souffle was one of the best desserts ever!
- Connor (10/5): Birthday trip. - Quiet, relaxing, comfortable, great work by the staff. Tying that to the birthday dinner for my wife the whole place could have fallen down and it would still get a very high rating. The chef needs 3 big raises in a row.
- Jacquline (7/5): Good - Facility was ok. The breakfast was poor for the cost of the room.
Neighbor was very noisy at early hours in the mornings.
- Joseph (9/5): Superb -
- Bruce (7/5): Not as elegant as we had hoped - Spacious cottage suite. Incredible dinner at their restaurant, one of the best in Bermuda. Outdated and damaged furniture. Poor maintenance. They concentrate on the restaurant to the detriment of the accommodations.
- Jay (8/5): - It’s beautiful, old, quiet, room was large and spacious, comfortable and clean. Comfy bed, good tv. Balcony, with lights for nighttime table and chairs, overlooking the pool. No complaints at all.
- Sandra (10/5): - The property was well kept and clean
- Steven (10/5): Great value for business travel with a 5 star restaurant. - Good location for my client visit Little dated restaurant but guest room was spacious, very clean, and modern
- Ebbin (8/5): good - the view climbing the steps
- Jane (10/5): - This is a small, quiet and well cared for cottage community. The pool and pool area are great and the grounds are very well cared for. The restaurant at Fourways is top notch and you won't find a better dining experience anywhere on the island. I highly recommend Fourways Inn.
- Sarah (9/5): Best of the Best - Such excellent service at this well reputed accommodation. Everything exceeded our expectations. Sunday brunch was superb. There was nothing we didn't like.
- David (9/5): Very enjoyable! -
- Cyrus (8/5): Very good - Everything was good
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Rosa (6/5): - Rooms were very outdated/ pool was dirty/ couldn’t find staff the first day we checked in / not close to anything
- Blaine (10/5): - The staff were all amazing, absolutely superb service.
- Sherman (2/5): - Too many ants and poor maid service
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Quaint small and comfortable. We had a nice stay. Continental Breakfast delivered to the room is awesome touch. Built in 1727 so some leeway given for aging! Centrally located but Bermuda is a damn hard place to walk. We ran up quite a Hitch bill in 3 days. I’d stay again. It’s a good value in an expensive market.
- Stacy (10/5): - The service at this Inn is impeccable beyond compare. While the furniture and pool need some updating, everything else was incredible! The restaurant at the Inn is the best food we had while in Bermuda. Thank you to Alex, who went above and beyond the call of duty for us, along with the entire staff.
- Valerie (10/5): - Personable, caring staff. Very responsive to requests. Assisted with travel needs. Ferry and bus stops within walking distance. Loved the Continental breakfast delivered to the room. Warm, fluffy robes. Premier restaurant. Pizza shop across the street offers additional meal choices. Just know that local dining options are not available after 10 pm.
- Robert (10/5): Fourways Inn - Great place to stay with friendly staff and central location for visiting all parts of Bermuda.
- Lisa (8/5): - Lovely but a bit dated property. Probably best to request downstairs villa as the stairways can be challenging with luggage. Great pool and breakfast option
- Sandra (10/5): ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! - Very original and different from anything I’ve ever been to! From the landscape to the homey and yet classy and stylish design, the property was absolutely lovely!
- Mary (1/5): The bar was never open and no lunch. - A painting fell on me while I was sleeping. I should be receiving a free night paid
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Laurent (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): - If I come back to Bermuda, I’ll be booking at the Fourways! It’s a charming hotel and restaurant with impeccable service. The rooms are perfectly appointed for all our needs. The continental breakfast room service was an amazing touch! Alex and Andy made sure our stay was comfortable, often making sure we had the transportation needed to get from place to place! Would highly recommend this inn to everyone headed to Bermuda!
- Theresa (9/5): Superb -
- Clinton Peter (10/5): - Lovely Inn
We enjoyed every minute !
- Alejandro (10/5): The stay was great, Alex made it great for us. - Alex is the best!! Little dated but it’s okay.
- Ken (9/5): Superb - the staff Alex and Andy were excellent and took care of every request. The breakfast was brought to the room and had it on the deck of the room/actually a small apartment set up. Highly recommend the place. nothing...all good
- Kenneth (10/5): Beautiful place, great food, wonderful people! Expensive. See the Caves! - The restaurant is terrific! Service is great! Guest to the Fourways Inn and other locations through-out Bermuda should realized that getting around the Island can pose some difficulties. The understandable, but inconvenient reality of not being able to rent a car and thus the lack of accessibility to the rest of the Island is the biggest con. Twizys in our view are simply not safe--except maybe in the St. George's area. Thus, ferries, cabs and buses are your only reasonably priced options. From the Inn, however, it is a fairly easy 10 min. downhill walk to a ferry wharf which will take you to Hamilton and the bus terminal to access other parts of the Island. To go anywhere with a cab is a one way $50 bill. We took 3 cabs one day to see parts of the Island not on the bus routes--$175. All that said, we had a great time!! But get to know the ferry schedules and bus routes.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed one week at the Fourways Inn in May, 2024. We greatly enjoyed our visit and would recommend it anyone. It is localed half way between Hamilton and the South shore road which makes it very convenient to town and seaside. The rooms were very large but could probably stand a makeover. The real gem of Four Ways is the staff. They were most cooperative to run an electrical cord to recharge our battery operated car. All in all we would come back to Four Ways again.
- Kate (3/5): I got catarrh from the stuffiness and bad smell from the room. The room appears to have been locked up for a long time w - Nothing at all Myself and my friend both got catarrh from the stuffiness and bad smell from the room. The room appears to have been locked up for a long time without being aired. It was suffocating. I couldn’t sleep on the bed on the first night, we opened the door facing the pool side for the most part of the night to let fresh air in. The exterior and everything doesn’t work the amount paid at all. Breakfast was a joke. Nothing made any sense.staff were nice and friendly but over all, I am disappointed!
- Yuk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (7/5): Overall it suited my needs. - The dining one evening was AMAZING!!! 5 star plus plus (includes food and exceptional service!
Their Sunday buffet has a fantastic selection.
I liked its proximity to ferries to Hamilton. I liked the gardens on the property. My ground floor room seemed musty. If you moved the curtains covering the corners it could use a scrubbing in those corners.
The pool could have been heated.
- Tatiana (10/5): - The hotel location was perfect for me. I could walk to beaches, the ferry stop just 5 min walk. Like everything about the hotel, the staff is very helpful and pleasant. Very recommended.
- Jennifer (9/5): We had a wonderful week at Fourways Inn helped by having lovely weather. - Lovely friendly and old fashioned atmosphere. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Room was spacious and clean with a small veranda overlooking the pool and glimpses of Hamilton Harbour. Really enjoyed the walk-in shower. Pastries and a fresh fruit platter were delivered every morning as part of the room rate. Very close to #8 bus and Lindo’s supermarket and pharmacy. Also close to Four Star Pizza. Food in the dining room was amazing. Unfortunately the room we stayed in had a flight of steps up to the room which I found a challenge but I didn’t ask to change the room as we really liked the room we were given.
- Jaime (8/5): Very good -
- Ashanti (10/5): - The property was a beautiful place to stay, the workers are so pleasant and the view we had was amazing..
Thanks Four Ways! We’ll be back again!👍
- marandellas (10/5): Brunch at Fourways - Had the most magnificent brunch here.We were well looked after by our waiter Norbert. The food options were amazing from seafood to hot food. My wife and I opted for roast beef which was very well cooked.Only disappointment was when we asked for Yorkshire puddings we’re informed that they had not made any that day.
- Marilyn (7/5): Very quiet - Cleanliness It was ok
- Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - Arrived for a Wedding Destination. Sunday Brunch was wonderful. Enjoyed the Continental breakfast in room and balcony view of the freshwater pool.
- Willan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arnold (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very little noise.
- Elijah (7/5): Good -
- Tammy (10/5): We had a delightful time at this centrally located historic property with an incredible staff. - The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view. Breakfast brought to our room each morning was delightful. The bus service didn’t run even close its schedule, although the hotel property had nothing to do with that.
- Danny (10/5): - Nice staff
- Cranston (6/5): It was very secluded and peaceful. The manager was very responsive to our needs. - We liked the complimentary breakfast, but the breakfast could have been a bit more substantial and an alternative beverage should be offered for those who don’t drink coffee or tea. We appreciated the proximity of the pool. Our order of egg omelette and hash browns was overpriced.
There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The maid service was sub-standard: She didn't leave spare toilet paper or facial tissue. The bed comforter was clearly worn & should have been replaced.
The drapes to the main door did not close completely to provide privacy. We had to place a chair up against them to prevent them from opening.
The kitchen area was infested with ants.
- Jennifer (10/5): This was BY FAR our favorite trip to Bermuda...AMAZING!! - The food and service were amazing!! They made us feel like family and always went above and beyond to help us. Their soufflés are an absolute MUST when you go! There really isn't anything we didn't like.
- Keith (4/5): - Tale of Two Cities:
It was the best of times, eating at the restaurant (4 stars). It was the worst of times, staying at the Inn “cottages” (1 star).
- Theresa (8/5): Very good -
- Terrance (8/5): - The people running the property are excellent. They were very attentive to our wants and needs, and the restaurant was awesome. The room was decent but could use some updating. They have already completed updates to the bathroom and that was very nice.
- Clement (10/5): - Alex and his staff were great....was just a short two night stay and did not eat at the hotel but heard the food is spectacular. It was a great value and would definitely stay there when I go back to Bermuda
- Crystal (6/5): - The staff was great. However, 1) nothing to do near the property, must have your own transportation, 2) the rooms were outdated, 3) food options are limited: the hotel offers light breakfast and they have a restaurant available for dinner (except Sunday). I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.
- Mehdi (10/5): Exceptional - The friendliest crew you can even imagine. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast was really nice, a healthy and tasty combination of Danishes and fruits, served in our room
- Dawn (10/5): - While the rooms were dated, the staff was incredible and accommodating . The pool was clean and it was very quiet. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable . Breakfast served to the room daily was awesome. Quick walk to the Ferry to Hamilton and a grocery store. We walked to Surf beach, about a mile and swam on a gorgeous secluded beach.
- Maureen (10/5): - The management and staff were wonderful. They were friendly and very helpful. The cottages are by the pool and were perfect for our family.
- 714ginettef (10/5): Simply MARVELOUS! - Simply Marvelous!
Another fantastic visit to Bermuda! We have tremendously enjoyed Bermuda for many years and stayed at Fourways Inn many times! Always a superb experience!
Fourways Inn is consistently remarkable! The cottage-type Suites are very clean, equipped with all you need for a very relaxing get away, beautiful views, breakfast in your room every morning, fresh baked pastries, a great way to start the day!
We have always enjoyed and continue to cherish all our dinners at Fourways Restaurant, it is the very BEST on the Island! Food and Service is simply outstanding! Andy and Alex are exceptional. Their skillful attention to details is Superb in every way! It is astonishing!
Once again Andy and Alex and the staff as well as the pianists, THANK YOU FOR A VERY MARVELOUS EXPERIENCE! Really looking forward to our next visit!
Rob and Ginette Fisher
- Pc2 (8/5): Marvellous spot to combine business with pleasure - Centrally located boutique cottage experience set in tropical gardens with swimming pool. Featuring one of the best Restaurants on the island to cater to your every need. My only suggestion would be the bedding could use a “refresh” as it’s a bit dated. The house phone didn’t work in my suite.
- ANTHONY (10/5): - We were at the Fourways Inn and cottages from June 8th to June 13th 2023 to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary ( I proposed to my wife at the Fourways Inn restaurant 41 years ago ) and my wife’s birthday. Alex, Andy and the entire staff we absolutely incredible. They would go out of their way to accommodate us. We felt we were in good hands with that team. The cottages are amazing (We had a suite which I would recommend ) clean and comfortable. It has a large patio which they deliver a continental breakfast every morning at your convenience and is delicious. Included is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, glasses and silverware and a large television. Short walking distance to a local market, bus stops to the beaches and anywhere on the Island, and ferryto Hamilton ( I recommend purchasing an unlimited bus and ferry pass for $48 for 7 days. The Fourways Inn restaurant is amazing. Again the staff and the food makes it 5 stars. It’s an experience you have to see for yourself. Highly recommended !!! Overall I would say our experience with the Fourways Inn cottages and restaurant was Marvelous !!!!!!
