The staff was welcoming and the dining area was bright, clean and inviting. A bonus to have it included. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.

I have fear of heights and the open main stair case with very small landing was very uncomfortable to manoeuvre Was not aware of no elevator until after I booked. So next time will book main floor. However not sure why it is more expensive on main floor. Rooms should be same price

• Case (8/5): Quiet and great for visits to hospital. - Great location Quiet Great breakfast Dirty under the bed and very dusty behind cabinets. Might not suit someone with allergies. Needs some updating to compete but overall clean and well managed for sure. Staff were polite but not overly cheery.
• aparadis2026 (10/5): Pleasant - Excellent- it had everything for a handicapped person.......mat, chair and attachment on tub. The room always smells fresh and clean. My doctor's appt. was for 1:30 so I asked the morning that we had to check out for 11 to have the room for an extra hour, and we were told we could relax in the conference room. We did and left at 1 pm. It was so much nicer to stay there than have to to kill time until our appointment. We started staying at the Travelway when one of our daughter went to Laurentian and have been back various times and now for our doctor's appointments.

I had a long day driving and thought I had to go out again to find something to eat - the little kiosk with food was perfect. Check-in was quick, amenities were perfect and I had a nice, long sleep!

• Zuzilla2 (10/5): I wish I had found this hotel sooner! - Everything about my stay was easy and comfortable. All of the staff I met were friendly and helpful. My room was in good condition and very clean, as were the other areas of the hotel. The breakfast was average but the breakfast room was comfortable and kept very clean. I noted 2 people staffing it the morning I was there. The location is convenient to the hospital, Science North and Bell Park, with downtown being just a short drive away. I have stayed at some rather sketchy hotels in a less desirable part of town before, for the same price. I will definitely be booking in here on my next trip to Sudbury.

The woman who had tracked through deep snow for 5 blocks to make sure the people at the motel had a hot breakfast. The storm caused business closures due to road closures. With entrances blocked and snow piling up faster than it could be cleared, he took it upon himself to shovel for hours, ensuring safe access to the motel. Stranded travellers were taking of. When we were finally able to dig ourselves out. The manager was on his way out to shovel the driveway because the plough truck was still not there. I honestly feel that seniors should be placed on ground floor, closer to breakfast facilities and not needing to carry items up the stairs given there is no elevator. I should not have to make this request it should be done automatically as part of a senior friendly initiative.

Most important are the beds. they are very comfortable. It is so convenient to the hospital for appointments. We recommend it to people all the time.
