• Vincent (7/5): Overall ok but for the price we paid, it falls short of our expectations. - Excellent breakfast. Nice environment. Service at Chinese restaurant was very slow, definitely short handed. We waited for almost 45 mins for our first dish. We had 2 single beds, the beds are too small and we are small frame Asian. Suggest you change the bed to super single since the room is so spacious. The Taichi space in spa area is not open at 7am, should open up the space for people to do their morning practice.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Quiet, serene, enjoyable weekend getaway - We had a fantastic stay at Six Senses Qing Chen Mountain. Special thanks must go to Himmel who was a thoughtful experience manager, always ready to help with anything we needed at the resort, and a knowledgeable tour guide to the panda sanctuary and Qing Chen Mountain. The resort was fairly quiet at this time of year, which meant no queues for the well positioned spa which had lots of wellness options including sound bath. All staff were exceptionally helpful and polite and the food selection - especially the huge breakfast buffet and the Thai restaurant - was excellent. The resort is under renovation to update some tired areas. The hot water is slow to come in but plentiful once it does. The resort could do a better job of alerting guests to special events e.g. the free happy hour entertainment.

• Jeremy (7/5): Good resort, but temper expectations. Review level is appropriate - The whole place is a resort, so you could easily stay on site the entire time, with spa and a cute little village like area (with various restaurants). Clean, well taken care of, and overall good service. Rooms were big Staying in the winter is tough. Whole area is cold, and a lot of the resort is outdoors. Water was also never hot, so showers were lukewarm. Staff didn't fully solve this problem - i think the water is just not hot It is isolated, and getting out is not the easiest (unless you can call a Didi). So that leaves staying on site - there are really only 2 restaurants and opening times are odd, which doesn't leave a lot of food options. Staying in the summer is probably better as you can hang out by the pool Also, this is missing a little bit of "luxury" that one would expect from Six Senses. I get they are going for an eco-vibe, but there is a fine line before it starts feeling cheap. Furniture had what looked like "outdoor" cushions. Bathrooms undecorated and sterile. To flag, i am an American, I've stayed at western luxury and ones in China catered to locals. I can say that this place is not to those level You really also need to speak Chinese. This part of the country is tough to navigate without some knowledge of Chinese.

• Caroline (9/5): A wonderfully relaxing and luxurious escape amidst the beauty of Qingcheng Mountain - Beautiful property with well-appointed villas. The peaceful, relaxing environment surrounded by nature—and the well-maintained greenery—made the stay wonderful. The golden ginkgo leaves added an extra touch of beauty. Thoughtful service and experience with personal host Maricel to take care of arrangements. Vanilla who brought us out to the Wolong panda conservation provided thoughtful and enjoyable outing. Free ice cream and nice tea tasting experience. Thank you to the Six senses team. -
• Marcell (10/5): Close to nature - Close to nature and attention to details, very nice staff, spa and massage is caring. Great activities like Thai chi and mandala painting. 10 years old so sometimes you don’t feel that modern but it’s not really a problem.

• Natasha (9/5): Majestic location but more family friendly than sophisticated retreat - The location is unbeatable, right at the foot of the mountain, which is a great relief once you’ve hiked up and down it! It was wonderful being able to see the mountain from the resort and relax in the spacious room after. I would say the resort was very focused on families, and didn’t really have a sophisticated wellness resort atmosphere you might expect from a Six Senses. The rooms were impeccably kept, but certain aspects like the bathrooms (and the hot water temperature!) need updating in line with the brand’s reputation.
• Qing (9/5): Highly recommended ! - Great experiences at Six senses. Front desk services are friendly, polite, efficient and informative. The unit is spacious with a layout of front court, bed room / living room, bathtub, washroom and small yard which made it feel both cozy and luxurious, beds are very comfy, breakfast has a wide selection of food, from local specialities to international dishes, and very delicious. Special shout out to 文彬 for her professionalism and her fast reaction when we needed a follow up. Her quick responsiveness and proactive attitude set the tone for our entire stay ! Special thanks to Spa manager Marco who helped us to resolve promptly the minor issue that we have encountered at the sauna, it demonstrated a great deal of care and professionalism! Very much appreciated!

• Pauline (7/5): Bel emplacement mais pas à la hauteur des autres Six Senses - L’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir les pandas, la literie est confortable, l’hôtel est situé dans un lieu naturel très agréable. L’hôtel mériterait un bon rafraîchissement. Compte tenu du standing de l’enseigne nous pouvions nous attendre à un personnel parlant anglais, à une carte des vins au bar et au restaurant supérieur à 3 propositions et à ce que les vins chinois ne soient pas manquants. Nous nous attendions également à une qualité de restauration supérieure.

• Ulisses (10/5): A truly special and memorable experience - A truly special and memorable experience Our stay at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain was a truly special experience. The entire team was incredibly kind, warm, and always willing to help and serve with genuine care. We also used the hotel’s private transfer service, which was excellent — comfortable, smooth, and perfectly organized. But what truly exceeded our expectations was the guided tour service. Our guide, Hickey, was absolutely fantastic: professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. He supported us during the entire experience and even accompanied us to the airport on his day off. He became a friend to our family, and we are very grateful. We highly recommend both the hotel and the overall experience. Just a couple of points to be aware of: • The summer heat can be intense, and it may affect the enjoyment of outdoor excursions. • English communication can be a bit challenging in some areas of the hotel, especially in the spa and kids club. The staff is wonderful and attentive, the massage services in the spa were great, the food was good and overall it’s a lovely place to stay. In order to keep a luxury feel, management should invest in maintenance. Paint is peeling off the outside walls, there are signs of humidity and many wooden beams and railings are rotting away, which is a pity. The activities were nice but over-priced and on one excursion we were taken for dinner to a very small, local hotpot place. While we appreciated the experience as the only foreigners there, the place was very dirty and unhygienic and we ended up with an upset stomach for the rest of our stay.

Unfriendly staff in Thai restaurant (we wanted to sit outside and they did everything to convince us to sit inside) I think the consumer wish should be respected. On the first night the room had no turndown service and on the second day we had to call the reception that the room after we came back from our trip at 2pm was still not made/serviced. Nothing severe but in a hotel with that standard I would expect a flawless service.

• Muye (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was superburb. Nice and relaxing setting with fresh food, both western and Chinese options. The coffee is great too. Love the Sauna and steam room. (you need to make a booking 30mins prior) The Thai restaurant is nice too. The outdoor pool isn't used for swimming. (ONLY part of the landscape) Most of the sport and exercise amenities is not open during our stay, but no one told us before hand.

The AC is off during the month of October, you either have to sleep with open windows or sleep in a room that doesn’t have fresh air. Some of the staff don’t speak English. They entered our rooms even when the don’t disturb sign was on.

The food was definitely overpriced. The indoor and outdoor pools were lovely but the outdoor one seemed a little dangerous because you had to step on the slippery tiles to get there.

Room is large and comfortable but could be a bit more luxurious for the price ( no electric bidet on toilet in rooms?and unstable hot water). Food was great although the prices were too high. (Singapore/Maldives prices ) Could be a bit more child friendly. The playground is more a parcour obstacle course and lacks simple things like a slide. Restaurant baby chairs have no restraining belts which is a bit unsafe.

• Chiew (8/5): Secluded, Clean and Great Service - I have always wanted to come to this six senses Qingcheng mountain when they just opened a few years back. However I did not get the opportunity to do so due to covid. I was really happy to be able to celebrate my birthday there this time round. This is a more affordable six senses resort as compared to others. I really love how secluded the place is as it is at the base of Qingcheng mountain. The air is as fresh as you can imagine. It was not crowded as we went there during a normal weekday. The complimentary birthday cake was delicious and service is second to none. More facilities could be added to the area. I feel that this resort is more suitable for the adults than kids. Some improvement could be made to the kids playground. They could have added a proper slide or swing to the kids play area. It is looking a little sad.
• Lee (9/5): Superb - Location, room, facilities. Although a bit dated, the hotel is well-kept. Right next to the property, which is in a zen and quiet environment, you can hear loud outdoor karaoke in a nearby site the entire afternoon.
• blake (6/5): Underwhelming First Stay - Underwhelming compared to the likes of Capella, Langham where we are frequent travellers at. Rooms were decent however had mosquitoes on the warmer days we were at. Upgrades were offered at a charge of double the room rate, concierge was unwilling to assist at most times, especially after we declined the hotel tour packages. Won't be staying at six senses again, you can get much better hotels and service for the same price.

More disappointed to know, there is no GEM appointed to our room. The front desk staff claimed that only villa guest will be entitled a GEM as there are more than 100 rooms in the property to cope with. Can’t help My high expectations of Six senses brand dropped to the bottom as I was wowed by the level of service in Six senses Uluwatu last year with outstanding GEM Amita and GM Manish Puri taking care of everything. Anyway a very big thanks to the front desk and housekeeping team for decorating the room and provide a cheese cake for my wife’s birthday. F&B service manager Pierre Henri and Josie from Sala Thai restaurant made good recommendations for my wife’s birthday dinner. We also enjoyed a very professional and detailed tour by 1. Summer for our Qingcheng Shan tour 2. and Vanilla for Dujiangyan tour. My wife and I enjoyed how the narrations bringing every being and structure to life. Six Senses Spa is a must go. We felt fresh after the body scrub and deep tissue massage. Overall the experience will be perfect if only there are no hiccups at the beginning. I would like to thank again Vanilla, Summer, Pierre Henri and Josie for their outstanding service and the rest of the friendly ground staffs.

• Atik (10/5): Absolutely amazing experience at Six Senses! - This was one of the best hotels in one of the best locations we have been to. Our stay was fantastic and the service was absolutely exceptional. Despite not speaking any Chinese, we had no problem communicating with the hotel staff in English and they went the extra mile in providing us the most memorable stay at the Six Senses. The food was incredible, and being vegetarians, we never ran short of options to eat great Sichuan Chinese dishes, amazing Thai food and hearty breakfasts every morning. One of the highlights of our stay was the Hotel Square that served us fresh Dan Dan noodles and a wide selection of teas every afternoon. The hotel organized us an awesome trip to Wolong to see pandas amidst the snow covered mountains. We also enjoyed our hike on Qing Cheng Mountain and our visits to Panda Ark. Overall our experience at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain was phenomenal. The hotel food, the service, the amazing spa, the mountain views & the pandas made our trip memorable and make us want to go back in a heartbeat.

• akio (10/5): 立地、サービス、食事 全てが最高峰。世界遺産に隣接した四川省の楽園 - 父が私が赴任している成都に旅行に来るということなので、上司から紹介され、こちらのホテルを利用しました。青城山、都江堰、パンダ基地などこの辺りの有名所へのアクセスも抜群に良く効率的に観光地を回ることが出来ました。部屋の内装は中国建築をモダンに解釈した可愛い作りで木材を利用したエコな設計にも非常に好感が持てました。部屋の中の調度品もお部屋に合わせて作られていて特にティッシュケースやハンガーなど小物たちの可愛いこと！きっと女性はたまらないと思います。 食事はチェックインした日の夜はタイ料理のお店に行きました。タイ料理はクセのあるイメージがあったのですが非常に上品で食べやすい味でタイ料理のイメージが変わりました。食事のあとにいった「ムーンバー」というバーも月をイメージした内装ですごく可愛かったです。オリジナルカクテルやワインを美味しく頂きました。お通のピーナッツまですごく美味しかったです。朝食はホテルの敷地内で育てている、オーガニック野菜や鶏の卵を使ったビュッフェでした。この時食べた四川風オムレツは一生忘れないと思います。凄くオススメです。 ただこのホテルで一番凄いのはサービスです。まず会う従業員の方全てが凄く丁寧な接客をしてくれます。私の下手な中国語も嫌な顔一つせず聞いてくれて一所懸命に理解してくれました。屋内プールで泳ごうと水着を買いに行った時に接客してくれたスパの方々は会計の時に出して頂いた紅茶を父が美味しいと言ったらなんとその日のうちにレシピを私のEメールアドレスまで送ってくれました。それ以外にも道で会った人達や、レストランの方々、自分の下手な中国語を聞き取ってタクシーなどの手配をしてくれた受付の方々、皆さん素晴らしいサービスでした。特に私達の担当としてついてくれた「EKO」さん。（スペルがあっているかわかりません）丁寧にホテルの説明をして頂いたり、様々な手配、寒い中での出迎え見送りなどすごく感動しました。このかたのお陰で父との旅行がすごく思い出深いものになりました。 お部屋、サービス、食事全て二重丸の素晴らしいホテルでした。是非また利用したいです。
• J (10/5): Excellent - The most excellent hotel / resort I've ever stayed. Good to relaxing yourself from the work / life. Feels like enjoying the different life in the natural. We only had 3-day holiday this time, would like to stay in Six Sense a week to enjoy and relax further. Hotel is just next to the Qingchengshan, which is one of the most famous visiting spot in Chendu. Also only takes 20-30 mins to the Panda Valley and Qujiangyan by car (we used Didi). There is a golf course and etc. near to the hotel, but we didnt have enough time to play. Restaurant also value to be recommended. Thai seems to be popular, however we had lunch at Chinese one as my husband is an foreigner. SPA / swimming pool are amazing as well. We also enjoyed the free cinerma and library / exhitibion hall too. Above all, we really had a great time in Six Sense and Chengdu.

I was asked to hold RMB5000 deposit for 2 nights stay, while my friend was asked to hold RMB3000 for the same period of stay. When I asked about the policy of holding deposit, they said usually it's RMB1000 per night. They were not able to give me an answer when I asked why they asked me to hold RMB5000, but just to cancel the RMB5000 deposit and redo a new one for RMB2000.Totally confusing
• Devin (10/5): Relaxing Time in Qing Cheng Shan - Our stay at Six Senses Qing Cheng Shan was amazing. The grounds were very nice, the room was immaculate, and the spa was rejuvenating. The one complaint I had was that the staff, while well-intentioned, seemed a bit undertrained in how to provide 5-star service. English ability was also hit or miss. Thankfully we both speak Chinese so while not an issue for us, it might be for other travelers. Nonetheless, I'd highly recommend this place as a getaway and worth the hour-long trek if you're around Chengdu. The Spa alone is reason to come (get the hot stone massage!).

Guest room toilet has unpleasant smell probably due to drainage or ventilation problem which should not happen for a new hotel opened less than couple years? Six Senses Spa is well managed with reasonable charges. Afternoon tea and noddle bar were too expensive
