Antonia (10/5): - Spędziliśmy kilka bardzo przyjemnych dni w apartamencie na wyspie Mljet. Nasz pokój miał piękny widok na zatokę – to zdecydowanie największy atut tego miejsca. Gospodarze byli pomocni i życzliwi, a domowa szarlotka przygotowana przez gospodynię – absolutnie przepyszna! Sam apartament jest estetyczny, urządzony prosto, ale ze smakiem. Wszystko było bardzo czyste i zadbane, co dla nas było najważniejsze. Z rzeczy, które warto mieć na uwadze – w łazience pojawiał się zapach z kanalizacji. Z tego co zauważyliśmy, to dość powszechny problem w wielu miejscach na wyspie, więc traktujemy to jako cechę lokalnych warunków, a nie zaniedbanie. Wieczorami słychać gwar z restauracji znajdującej się tuż pod tarasem. Dla niektórych może to być atut, bo czuć wakacyjny klimat, ale jeśli ktoś szuka zupełnej ciszy – warto o tym wiedzieć. Dodatkowo codziennie wieczorem przeprowadzane było zadymianie przeciwko insektom. Trzeba przyznać, że było skuteczne – owadów praktycznie nie było – choć podczas kolacji na tarasie trzeba się liczyć z chwilowym zadymieniem. Pozdrawiamy serdecznie bardzo pomocnego, sympatycznego i wesołego kelnera ( z Azji?), którego cechuje wysoka kultura osobista i z zaangażowaniem dba o gości restauracji. Podsumowując – to dobre miejsce na relaksujący pobyt, szczególnie dla tych, którzy cenią piękne widoki, bliskość morza i serdeczną, lokalną gościnność.

Friendly staff - sent an hour each day just chilling through breakfast. Enjoyed taking the kayak out and also walks to beaches. Dinner of fresh fish was amazing. Absolute peace. It’s gorgeous. But it’s not cheap.

Ana (10/5): To repeat! - The most amazing feature of this hotel is the location and staff/owners. It is set in a very quiet part of the island, in a beautiful bay. Staff were always very attentive and so the owners. For dinner you can eat at the hotel and the food is well prepared and tasty. Breakfast was good with a variety of fresh fruit and pastries. Just missing a variety of bread (wholemeal/ seeded).
Huyen (10/5): Exceptional - Staying at Pine Tree Apartments was like staying at my uncle and aunt’s place. The whole family that owned the place was working there and making us feel very welcome and even their staff were so nice! The apartments were comfortable, squeaky clean and the views 😍 our heart melted a little every time we looked out of our balcony. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to retreat to a little paradise far away from the crowds to replenish some energy.
Lester (9/5): We did enjoy our stay, loved the food and the service in the restaurant was second to none. Thank you. - The food in the restaurant was delicious. The pool and sea were wonderful. There were no tea and coffee facilities, there was a kettle, the bed was comfortable and the view was amazing The lack of tea and coffee, maybe a bottle of water in the fridge. It was very expensive to stay there and I think they have taken the customer for granted a little. We stayed in a lot of places in Croatia and we had a lot of complimentary tea and coffee, fruit, water etc for a lot less money.

Benjamin (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff, view on the bay, peka at restaurant was not cheap but excellent. Breakfasts were copious and good Nothing really bad but for the price we paid and a 4* hotel disappointing to get a bathroom with no ceiling light or kitchen hood not working, the parts near the hotel not so well maintained. The room and stay was fine but we expected something a bit better for the price we paid - even though we understand it’s an island and things cannot get replaced/repaired as easily.

Janet (10/5): Perfect relaxing stay. - The apartment was spacious and luxurious. Wonderful breakfasts fruit/pancakes/eggs cooked to order, breads/yoghurt all served by the owners and their friendly team. They serve high quality food in the restaurant at lunch and dinner and booking is recommended, not a place for a cheap snack but the supermarket is very close by so we cooked pasta in the room and prepared a couple of lunches. Very close to beautiful beaches as well as the glorious pool. We enjoyed seeing Louie, their gentle giant of a dog strolling around occasionally. We had a great time and thoroughly recommend Pine Tree. Taxis are expensive on the island, we were looking to relax so only booked to and from the ferry and didn’t explore the nature reserve at the end of the island but worth being aware of if you want to explore.

Nicky (10/5): The tranquility & quality of everything about this place makes you feel replenished and spoilt. Treat yourself to Pi - Unique location near a beautiful cove beach with small bar. The family and staff that run this are wonderful and warm with vision and ambition. The infinity pool is perfect with a stunning view . The apartments are well appointed and have everything and more than you need particularly if you want to cook. But it’s the restaurant that excels . Using superb home grown and locally sourced ingredients the meals are prepared and served with knowledge and enthusiasm . It’s not cheap compared to other parts of Croatia but this is an island a third of which is a national park . It’s really special without being stuffy with indoor and outdoor eating which is hard to find on mljet . You need a car if you want to explore the island and the ferry is fun but there probably are trips you could do .

Amanda (10/5): Wonderful - Everything there is amazing. From facilities to location to the people. It is a family business and the entire family is very friendly and dedicated to making you have the best experience. Breakfast is great and so is the dinner if you choose to eat there. Apartments are super clean and well kept and the view is incredible. There is a sandy beach next door and you can also use paddle boards and dive in the sea at the front of the hotel. Shower is on the warm side but doesn’t bother you in summer.

Food was also great! nothing although a lot of the dishes at the restaurant require the hotel to have 2 hours to prepare which is helpful to know in advance. They are incredibly accommodating just let them know in advance regarding food :D

Tove Kristin (10/5): A Pearl of a hotel - A unique small hotel. I think this must be the best place to stay in the island of Mljet. Very nice sandy beaches that is very rare in Croatia. The host and hostess were very helpful in any way and gave good suggestions regarding places to visits for a half day/full day excursion.

Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a beautifully new or redone small hotel right on the bay. The rooms are spacious and the staff is extremely warm, welcoming and attentive. There is a beautiful infinity pool in addition to the swimming bay and and plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas to enjoy sitting by the pool while overlook the fabulous view of the bay. There are water toys for free use (kayaks, paddle boards...) and the swimming is delightful. Very calm bay with clear water so you can see the bottom of the ocean and all the fish. The on-sight restaurant serves dinner and breakfast for a fee and is very good. We didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else except to the little market next door to have supplies to make basic and quick breakfasts and lunches. Kitchen in the room was stocked and perfect for our stay. The location is at one end of the island with few hotels and restaurants so if you are looking for urban life or lots of cafes to choose from, go somewhere else. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to enjoy the ocean and view, swim, walk, relax, this is your place. We plan to come back!

Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful - Beautiful rooms in a beautiful setting. Very quiet and relaxing. Close by to gorgeous quiet beaches and coves. The food is also good at the hotel. Be aware that the cost of a simple meal in Saplunara is expensive.
Bo (10/5): A warm Adriatic hug at Pine Tree Boutique Hotel - There are flaws, but they are minor; no Wi-Fi on the 3rd floor. No pegs or cabinets in the new apartments - something you might complain about in a lesser place. In Pine Tree Boutique Apartments you just disregard them, because service is fantastic. Ana and Ivo have over the last 18 years built a gem of a boutique hotel with a warm and personal service and an unfailing eye for quality. Well appointed beautiful apartments, a lovely infinity pool and a fantastic restaurant in a pristine seaside setting close to a natural reserve. If you are not the pool type, just dive of the terrace into the Adriatic for hours of snorkeling, kayaking or other watersports. It does not get better than here. The small fleet of yachts, catamarans and sailing boats in the Bay outside Pine Tree is a testimony to that. Food is king in Restaurant Kod Ante. The breakfast is the largest and most enjoyable I have yet had in any restaurant. Bread, cakes, fruit, eggs, cereal, yogurts all homemade and served to order. The dinner is a very informal affair built round the massive Josper grill where Ivo and team grills giant Ribeyes, T-bones, lobster, fish in all sizes served with lovely Croatian wines. Do not miss Grandfather Ante's homemade Looza (a Grappa style spirit) at the end of the meal. We will be back.

Feeling quite sad that we have to leave. This is by far the best accommodation on the Mljet island ! Mljet is like a paradise.Restaurant has the best food, fresh seafood caught by the locals. Home made cheese and olive oil is so delicious.
